Dancing With a Stranger (Roy x Daisy oneshot)
((No lemon here(yet) you dirty hoezz))
Roy sat unusually quiet as Marth continued to talk more and more about himself. The red-head found it strange that he and a few others were at a (non stripper-iffic) night club and the only thing they were doing was listening to someone brag about himself. He didn't even have a drink or anything.
Roy looked around the room, observing the other people dancing or just doing anything better than what he was doing.
"Roy."
He turned to Marth, who called for him.
"What."
"Nothin.. you just seemed distracted."
Roy smiled before turning his head to the side, saying, "yeah, well i was getting kinda tired of hearing about how amazing you are."
Math scoffed.
"How about you go find yourself a special friend?" Marth suggested. "Everyone here is dressed at their best."
"Marth, some of the people here are half-naked. It's not even that type of club... I think."
"Look..."
Marth put his arm around Roy, as his other arm pointed to random girls around the room. Some of them they knew and some of them were people they've never seen before.
"Choose your player." Marth whispered.
"I'm not gonna fu—"
"Marth!!"
The duo turned around to see a familiar blonde in pink, except this time the pink dress was a little tight and the skirt was short.
"Hey Peach!" Marth smiled, starting to get up from his seat.
"You wanna dance? The music here is pretty good." Peach made an awful excuse to get Marth to dance, but too bad the blue-haired man was already half-way to the dance floor.
Roy sighed.
He looked around the room, searching for anyone to talk to.
From the right side of the room, he saw someone walking over to one of the tables, not taking a seat but standing in front of it.
He had to admit Princess Daisy was pretty damn cute.
He'd wrap his arms around her waist but the two weren't exactly acquainted yet. I guess now was a good time to talk.
The princess was talking to Rosalina, who was offering her a sip of her drink. She refused politely, even though she had to admit a sip of that would be nice.
"So, you find anyone here for you?" Rosalina asked.
"Pfft, no. Unless it's a guy that's really cute, then no. I will not be dancing with anyone tonight."
Rosalina looked behind her real quick. She saw someone familiar coming over their way. She immediately recognized Roy and out of instinct said, "I'll be right back." So she could leave the two alone.
"Hey."
'I'm not in the mood for this..' Daisy thought as she turned around to face whoever called for her.
"Hey—"
Daisy stopped when she saw Roy. She only liked his face, she swore, but by what she's seen of him, she really liked his personality.
"I saw your friend go off with Marth.... and then your other friend go off for reasons we both know."
Daisy chuckled. "Yeah.. my best friends, huh.."
Roy laughed as he sat down next to her. "Don't worry, I suffer the same thing. Marth isn't exactly the best."
"I know." Daisy smirked. She grabbed the drink that Rosalina left and took a sip of it. It was ok she thought.
"You wanna sip?" Daisy asked.
'WHAT?! NO, DONT ASK HIM IF HE WANTS A SIP YOU DUMB-FU—'
"Sure."
Roy grabbed her hand that held the drink up to him, taking a sip as he only held her hand instead of the cup.
"Could be better." Roy chuckled.
"Definitely."
Suddenly the purple, blue, and pink lights in the room started waving around and flashing as another song came on. It was a fairly popular song so he figured this was normal. He didn't expect anything else before seeing Daisy get up.
She stood in front of him, holding her hand out to him.
"One sip costs a dance." She said.
Roy smiled. "Reasonable. Alright then princess. Do me a favor and help me put Marth and Peach to shame?"
"Of course."
The two walked with their hands holding each other's. They passed by Marth and Peach, Roy sticking out his tongue and Daisy grinning.
They joined the other couples and people on the dance floor as Roy took both of her hands in his.
He's never really danced before but he's seen enough shows and movies to know the basics. He took a step forward and she took a step back, vice versa. The song had a calm-pop esc to it and Roy was actually curious what the song was called.
Before he knew it, his left hand rested on her waist. Her right hand meanwhile was rested on his shoulder.
"You didn't seem like the type to dance."
"Yeah, I didn't think I was."
He twirled her around, then held her right back up to him again. Again, he didn't know he could do that.
The colored lights were still flashing hellishly, but at this point he didn't mind it.
Roy felt the end of the song coming. He wondered if they would continue after it ended or stop, but either one was fine, he supposed.
He now had Daisy practically pressed against him.
The last ten seconds of the song started.
He stepped forward, and twirled her.
With slight space between them, he did something new that he wanted to try.
He let his hands release from her, as he leaned a little bit down to her height.
At the last second, the lights went down.
He moved his head closer to her.
He then let his lips press against hers.
He knew he wasn't gonna make it out alive tonight as he saw Marth, Peach, an Rosalina watching from the sidelines.
