|| Chapter 99 ||

-Author's POV-

Rita gently flips them over, the sofa giving them enough space to freely touch each other. Madison lies beneath her, allowing the blonde to kiss her, to trial the palm of her hand along her upper thigh.

The teen soon comes back to reality, the feel of Rita's hand slipping under the oversized t-shirt she'd opted for tonight.

She tears their lips apart, grasping the blonde's hand. "What're, you doing?" Madison pants, pushing the older woman off her. "What're we doing?" She questions, suddenly upset.

"I'm.. I'm sorry I don't know where that came from." Rita apologizes, shuffling to the opposite end of the sofa and running the tip of her fingers through her hair. "I'm sorry." She repeats.

"I just.. Don't know how that happened.. Why did it happen?" The teen questions further.

"Look, Maddy, I'm sorry okay. It won't happen again. I honestly.. Don't know what overcame me." The older woman continues her apologies.

"It's.. It's okay." Madison smiles, timidly. "It was just.. I've never been kissed before so I was a bit in shock.." She clears her throat, shifting her eyes.

"You've.. Never been kissed?" Rita asks, cautiously shuffling closer to the teen.

"No. And certainly not by someone who is nine years older than me." Madison raises an eyebrow, trying to make light of the situation.

"I'm sorry." Rita laughs lightly, "Really, I am."

"It's okay, just, we can't have that happening again."

"Y-Yeah, of course, it won't ever happen again."

Madison smiles lightly, "I think it's best I go up to bed now," She stands to her feet. "Well, good night."

Rita smiles sadly, "Good night, babe."

The teen doesn't waste a second, she heads straight up to her bedroom, needing tomorrow's morning light to wake her as soon as possible.

She lay that night, her heart beat frantically drumming against her chest. She didn't know what to think of the situation, did she like it? Did she want to kiss her again? Is this right?

She's my Dad's girlfriend – oh no Dad.

Madison winces, she didn't want to be that daughter. The one that cheated with her parents spouse. But here she was, wanting to kiss Rita all over again.

She tosses and turns all night, never getting a single wink of sleep. Madison watched the morning sunrise; lying in bed, without a single blink flapping to her eyelids. She was glad her bedroom had large windows, she was glad Jamie loved her enough to give her this luxury. But now.. Now she felt like she had taken her father for granted.

She hated herself.

Seeing as there was no use in staying in bed much longer, she slides out, deciding a long hot bath was needed to ease the tension in her mind and heart. Time slips slowly, her mind still remains in last night's scene.

The hot bath relieves tranquility into her soul, eyes fixated on the sunrise growing further with each passing second.

She wanted the day to pass quickly; she was desperate to get home.

------

Kimberley stirs in her sleep, accidentally kicking her wife.

"Kimba." Cheryl groans, kicking her wife back and shuffling to the other end of the bed.

"Sorry." The blonde murmurs, slowly opening her eyes to the harsh sun gleams. "Why'd we keep the bloody curtains opened?" She asks, shielding her eyes.

"Because you said Madison likes them opened." Cheryl replies, still nestled and cozy.

"Next time just tell me to shut my mouth and go to sleep, yeah?"

Cheryl giggles, shuffling back over to her wife and spooning her from behind.

"Oh well hello there," Kimberley grins, resting her hands atop of her wife's, enjoying the sleepy kisses being places to her back. "That feels nice." She sighs, finding it hard to breathe when the Geordie kissed her, even after all these years.

"Good morning," Cheryl whispers, sitting up and placing a kiss to Kimberley's cheek.

"What's gotten into you?" The blonde smirks, lying on her back and looking up at the smiling Geordie. "You've just broke my leg two seconds ago—"

"Oh don't be so dramatic." Cheryl rolls her eyes, "I gave you a little kick for kicking us—"

"Not like I kicked you on purpose—"

"You always say that but—"

Kimberley reaches up, pulling her wife down into a rough kiss. "Shut up." She breathes, "Mmmm. Your breath smells like sex."

"Eh?" Cheryl pull raises an eyebrow, their face centimeters apart.

"You know, when you have sex the night before?" Kimberley asks, hands trailing up and down her wife's bare back.

"Yeah?"

"Yeah.. That's what it smells like, I noticed that about you."

"You're odd, well yours smells like shite—"

"You little—" Cheryl shuts her up with a kiss, slotting herself atop of the naked blonde, their skin like silk, something they'd never get sick of. They kiss passionately, kissing the early morning away. They spend their morning in bed, making love, touching each other, fcuking each other, and simply just being with each other.

-----

Madison eats her breakfast, unable to meet Rita's eyes. Just like Jamie had promised, he took the little family out for breakfast, a cute little café just a short drive away from the home.

"Do you like it?" he asks, finally breaking the silence.

"Yeah it's really good," She glances up, looking at her father for a second and mistakenly meeting Rita's desperate brown eyes.

"I'm glad to hear, this is my favorite spot for a quick stop." He smiles, reaching over and giving his daughters shoulder an affectionate squeeze, "I'm kind of sad to take you to Cheryl's, but I'll be seeing you again this week. Right?"

She gulps her orange-mango juice, nodding, unable to answer.

"When do you think?"

"I don't know, maybe this upcoming weekend?" She shrugs, "I know Mam and Mum have a lot of things planned for me." She lies.

"Yeah, I understand. Maybe we can plan something together? All three of us? What do you say?" He suggests.

"I guess that would be cool." She smiles, unconvincingly.

"Well don't sound so excited." He chuckles, looking over to his girlfriend and winking.

"No really, it does sound like a good idea." She smiles, a little more forced this time.

"We'll figure it all out in time." He stands to his feet, setting the napkin in his place. "I'm just going to the washroom, and I'll pay the bill while I'm at it."

Rita and Madison nod in unison.

The blonde waits until her boyfriend was out of sight, needing to speak to the teen.

"Maddy, I apologized." She sighs softly.

"Right now isn't the time." The teen stops her.

"When is it going to be a good time? You haven't spoken to me once this morning." She frowns, her eyes evidently sad.

"It's just awkward okay." Madison huffs, "I'm tired and feel like sh*t. I just want to go home."

"But babe—"

"Just stop." The teen speaks much more firmly, "Look, I don't want to be a b*tch, but you're my Dad's girlfriend. You shouldn't be kissing me—"

"I don't know what overcame me, I told you last night, I apologized."

Madison looks around; glad their voices were soft whispers.

"Okay, I just need time to myself."

Rita nods; glad there was potential to fix all of this.

"Okay I understand," She sighs with relief, "I'll give you all the space you need. But you have to believe me when I tell you, I care a lot for you Maddy," She breathes. "I care a lot for you." She repeats; her eyes speak the truth. "Please. I'm sorry."

"Okay, I forgive you." Madison half lies, needing to end the conversation.

"I really hope so." Rita breathes deeply. She instantly sits up, Jamie making his way back over.

"You girls ready to go?"

-------

"We should probably start Christmas shopping." Cheryl suggests, washing the last of their dishes from breakfast.

"I've already started." Kimberley causally says, pouring herself a cold lemonade.

"What?!" Cheryl yelps, "How could you start without us! We always tell each other before we start!"

"Chill it's not like I've gone to the bloody north pole and picked the first set of gifts." Kimberley rolls her eyes, "I've just done a bit of shopping online – so if anything comes in the post for me, don't touch it!" She warns her.

"Can I shake it?" Cheryl asks, getting a shake of the head in response. "Can I smell it?" Another shake. "Can I lick it—"

"No you weirdo." The blonde pulls a face, walking around the large island and putting her empty glass in the sink. "But I'll tell you what," She licks her lips, trailing her fingers along the Geordie's bare arm. "I got you something pretty." She purrs.

"You're a tease." Cheryl rolls her eyes, shoving Kimberley away. "So I'll start on my shopping then." She grins, drying her hands.

"Just make sure you don't buy me a private jet or something—"

"Why is that something you want?" Cheryl asks, needing clues on what to buy.

Kimberley rolls her eyes, "Yes I do, you know, because I'm always jetting off somewhere."

"Don't be a d*ck." The Geordie pouts, "Tell us what you want for Christmas?" She asks, wobbling over to the blonde. "I'll tell you if you tell us." She grins, cheekily.

"I honestly don't know what I want—"

"Don't lie—"

"I'm not you weirdo." Kimberley chuckles, "Buy something for yourself." She shrugs.

"You're not making this very easy, Mrs." Cheryl raises an eyebrow, jumping on her wife, swiftly wrapping her legs around the blondes waist, and giving her a playful shake to the shoulders.

"Get off me you damn whacko!" She tries to pull her off, but that only gets the playful brunette to hang on tighter.

"Tell us and I'll get off, although I know you like it when I'm like this."

".... Not really." Kimberley pulls a face, "You should really stop lying to yourself. I think, that you think, I love you more than I actually do—"

"Don't be a b*tch." Cheryl giggles, "I'm not letting go. I'll just stay like this all day, right here, just like this."

"Whatever floats your boat, honey. Just make sure to get off when you have to cook us dinner." Kimberley cheekily says, earning her a smack to the back of her head.

"Take that back—"

"Why don't you just teach me a lesson."

"Yeah, I'll teach you a lesson alright." Cheryl looks down at her wife, loving the feel of Kimberley's hands on her ass. "No sex for a year, that'll be part of your Christmas present." She winks, getting a terrified expression from her wife.

"Like you would—"

"You wanna bet?"

"Yeah I wanna bet you wouldn't last a fcuking day without my tongue inside of you—"

"Kimberley!"

"Cheryl!"

They burst into laughter, Cheryl draping her arms lovingly around her wife's shoulders, and cutely burying her face into the blonde's neck.

"I love you, you know?"

"I love you too, you know?"

Kimberley places sweet kisses along the softhearted Geordie's exposed shoulder, forever in love with her. Arms wrap around, holding her closer, needing her closer.

A knock to the door breaks their intimate moment.

"That's probably Maddo." Kimberley tries to set her wife down, but fails. "Get off you loser—"

"Nope."

"Agh." Kimberley rolls her eyes, secretly loving it. She walks over to the front door, Cheryl remaining in her place.

"Hey babe," Kimberley greets their daughter, earning a questionable look in return.

"I'm not even going to ask." She walks past them, making her way over to the kitchen with the women behind her.

"Did you have a good time?" Cheryl asks, remaining in place.

"Could you possibly come down?" Madison asks, grabbing herself a cold drink. "It's kinda awkward trying to have a conversation with you nearly dry humping Mum."

Cheryl gasps, skidding straight out of her wife's arms.

"I wasn't dry humping her!"

"Well your vagina was pressed to her stomach... so I don't know what you two were doing before I got here, but I'm here, so quit it." The teen rolls her eyes, the two women noticing for the first time that their daughter was in a mood.

"Are you okay?" Kimberley's first to ask.

"Yeah? Why wouldn't I be?" Madison rolls her eyes, trying to walk out of the kitchen, but not on Kimberley's watch.

"Could you possibly let my hand go?"

"Drop the attitude, that's one thing." Kimberley's hand grows tighter, tugging her daughter back into place. "Has something happened?" She asks, more demandingly.

"Mam, tell her to let go of my hand!"

Cheryl sighs, "Okay you two need to learn better communication." She steps in, prying her wife's hand off her daughter. "Come on, let's go into the front room."

"I'm fine. I have to go get some homework done, Emma's sent me some work."

"No-No." Cheryl quickly stops her daughter, a gentler hold this time. "We're all going into the front room. Come one."

"Agh." Madison rolls her eyes, allowing the Geordie to pull her whichever way she pleased, Kimberley right behind them the entire time.

"What's going on babe?" Cheryl asks, sitting her daughter down between both Kimberley and herself. "Did something happen last night?"

I can't tell her.

I can't fcuking tell her.

"Honestly, Mam it's nothing. I don't know what's wrong with me. I didn't get a good nights sleep yesterday," She begins her lie. "I'm still not used to spending nights outside of the house."

They believe her.

They can see the exhaustion in her eyes.

"Aw babe—"

"I'm sorry for being rude." She apologizes to her Mum, "I'm in a c*nty mood."

They share a laugh.

"Do you want to go up and have a nap, sweets?" Cheryl was always so sweet and gentle with the teen, nothing in comparison to the way she was with their first meet. Now, Madison was her world, everything was so different, everything felt so right.

"I think I'll go up in a bit, can we just cuddle for now?" She asks, a saddened expression painting to her face.

"Maddo." Kimberley gets her daughters attention, "If there is something wrong, you know you can open up to us. I hope you know what." She reassures the teen.

"I know.. I just really missed your cuddles is all." She truthfully speaks, suddenly vulnerable.

"Well, alright, c'mere babe. Let's watch a film and cuddle for now." Cheryl and Kimberley share a look, all coming together and cuddling tightly on the sofa. They were worried, but decided to put it behind them, for now, they cuddle the early afternoon away, with Madison falling asleep in their arms.
