||Chapter 30||

-Author's POV-

It was morning's she loved, the sunrays that beamed into her world in blinding colors. It compelled her to feel alive, it endorsed her to feel a sense of warmth that she never got from the real world, and the melting of the heart was never experienced for her. The undying love from someone else.. The only love she'd ever had was gone, dead, forever in the heavens above.

Chris.

So it was the sunrays that would wake her, or so she believed it was Chris waking her up every morning. The moon and stars, she too believed Chris would watch her through the skylight windows; shinning down on her with radiant illuminations.

She stretches out and scrunches her nose as the sun continues to blind her.

It's quiet in the Harris household this morning, not a sound to be heard. She wondered if her parents had already gone off to work, her eyes glance to her alarm clock.

9:08am

It's still early. She mentally thinks.

Madison was a free soul, every morning she'd let go a little of her past, but always grasping onto her brother.

He was her world.

He was her hero.

He was now her angel.

She winces as she climbs out of bed, her legs tremble and shake with each step towards the ensuite. The scratches to her hands and knees have scabbed and leave beautiful scars behind.

Madison loved scars, it symbolized a lot of things to her, but one that always came to mind was daring. The dare to live, the dare to try, and the dare to run after something that was untouchable.

Stars.

The stars were untouchable to her, and she dared every night to climb a hill just to get in touch with them.

She was fearless.

Carefully, she washes her hands with caution. Green eyes shut tightly with the burning sensation bursting her nerves alive, her heart beats quickly, she urges herself to be quick with washing her face and brushing her teeth.

With one last rinse, she dries her hands and face.

She puts her best smile on as she walks out of her room this morning; the smile turns to genuine when she hears her parents chatting away.

Her feet rush down the stairs and go straight into the kitchen.

"Champs up," Connor greets her with a smile. "I'm glad you're up actually, want to have a talk with you." Her smile crumbles.

"Did I do something?" She asks.

"No sweetheart," Clara reassures her, "Your dad and I just want to have a chat with you."

Something isn't right. It was unlikely for the Harris family to have a chat, they ever so rarely had a proper conversation.

Something isn't right. Her subconscious mind repeats.

"Come on," Connor leads the family into the front room. "Just a quick chat before we head off to work."

They settle in the front room, both parents exchange knowing looks.

"Your Mum and I thought it would be a good idea for you to come to work with us-"

"No." She cuts them of.

"Let me just finish," Connor laughs lightly. "I don't want you moping around the house after last nights event-"

"I'm not moping!" She cuts him off again, "I'm fine!"

"You are moping around, you're going to lock yourself in the house and go into that depression crap you went into a while back-"

"First off," She stands to her feet, "Depression isn't funny, and yes, I'll admit it, I was depressed.. But only because of Chris," Her voice begins to tremble. "It's not crap.. T-Those were my emotions.. I'm allowed to feel sad." She catches the sob just before it escapes her lips.

"Feeling sad for a minute is fine," Clara tries to comfort the teen. "But going a whole year of moping around isn't normal-"

"What's the point of this stupid little discussion anyways?! Do you want me to go to work with you? Because I'll just mope around there!" She snaps, her anger now sounding loudly into the large home.

"If you're going to stay home today-"

"Connor," Clara cuts her husband off, "She's not staying in this house today.. If you're not going to come with us to work today, at least go out for some air.. You know.. Call a friend-"

"Fcuk my friends, I don't give a fcuk about them-"

"Language Madison Harris!" The mother hisses, "I can't be dealing with your constant absurd mouth."

"Madison, what your mother is trying to say," Connor gives his wife a knowing look. "Just go out today, maybe to a park? You know.. Whatever it is kids do these days. You have your bankcard, go buy what you like." The mother and father stand to their feet and give their daughter a quick hug.

"No more moping Madison," Clara says, she gives her one last hug and walks out of the front room.

"Listen to your Mum and just enjoy today? Okay?" Madison nods; she holds back the tears until her parents had left the house.

With the door shut, and lock clicked; she breaks down.

----

Kimberley stretches out as she wakes up that morning; her eyes flutter open when she doesn't find her wife sleeping beside her.

The sheets still emit warmth, letting her know Cheryl hasn't been gone for long. The sound of running water gets her to climb out of bed and tiptoe into the bathroom.

A smirk makes its way to her lips, she disgards her clothes and sneakily opens the glass doors.

"Ah!" Cheryl jumps to the feel of someone's arms wrapping around her waist.

"Don't do that," She breathes.

"Good morning," Kimberley speaks over the warm running water, her hands wrap tighter around the naked body molding into her front.

"Good morning," Cheryl replies grumpily.

"What's with the mood you?" Kimberley grins, she turns her wife around to get a better look at her.

"You just scared us into me death-"

"Oh don't be so dramatic and scrub my back," The blonde turns around, "Go on." She urges her.

"Scrub your own damn back" Cheryl stubbornly turns around and washes the shampoo out of her hair.

Kimberley giggles and retreats to wrapping her arms around Cheryl's slim waist.

"Don't be in a mood with me baby," She coos, "It's still early-"

"Well then don't tease us," Cheryl huffs.

"Can I have some kisses?" The blonde grins, her lips finding their way to Cheryl's exposed neck. "I love your kisses" She speaks in between pecks to the neck.

Cheryl smiles and turns back around.

She wraps her arms around Kimberley's neck and presses their bodies together.

"I love your kisses too" Their lips meet, the water cascades and mixes with the deep kiss they share under the running water. "I love your kisses," Cheryl giggles against Kimberley's lips. "Very much actually," They continue to kiss, the early morning sun streams through the windows surrounding the large bathroom.

Kimberley's hands can't be controlled, they never could. They stroke and linger, they roman and grasp. Cheryl lets the blonde have her way, whenever she desired, and whatever she craved, she gave herself up completely to Kimberley.

"I'm going to fcuk you now," Kimberley breathes against her lips, "Relax." She clasps Cheryl's lower lip between her teeth and pushes her against the cool tiled walls.

The water still pours heavily; it doesn't reach them now. It echoes and resounds in the large glassed shower.

"Mm," Cheryl throws her head back, taking every thrust being pushed inside of her.

Kimberley's fingers work quickly, her lips matching the speed of the skillful digits.

"Ah! Mmmm," Cheryl whines into her wife's mouth, Kimberley's tongue touches every corner of the Geordies mouth; her fingers never stop thrusting.

"Mmm yes.. Y-yes" Cheryl is unable to respond to the kiss; the vast drives of her wife's fingers take over her body. It rises in sensation and heat, she claws at Kimberley's back; she pulls her closer as she nears the peek of pleasure.

"That's it baby," Kimberley grits her teeth, her hand moves vigorously, "Come for me," She grunts.

Cheryl loved dirty talk, and nobody knew that more than her sex addict wife.

"Fcuk!" She screams out in pleasure, her legs give out, but Kimberley holds her tightly.

The orgasm rips through her, a rush of pleasure takes over. She hangs on tightly and rides out the pleasurable sensation.

"Mmm.. Fcuk" She pants.

Kimberley grins and holds her tightly, "You alright love?" She giggles.

"No," Cheryl whines, her hands still wrapped tightly around Kimberley's shoulders.

"Let me wash you off," The blonde giggles and cleans them both up. She takes care of her wife; the hands that were once working fiercely inside the Geordie now caress her body with love and care. They shampoo and condition her scalp with tenderness.

The lips that were once hungrily eating her lips now peck tenderly to every inch of skin she could touch.

The words she'd once voiced in a dirty projection, now voice sweet nothings to her.

It was sex, it was lovemaking, and it was a world they would create once passion took over.

"Careful," Kimberley helps her wife out of the luxury shower, "Here, hold on to me."

"Kimba," Cheryl moans, "You could have waited until I was out of the shower before you attacked us like that." She whimpers.

"I couldn't help myself," Kimberley giggles and wraps the towels around both of their wet bodies.

"Dry me hair," Cheryl says weakly, her legs still shake from the sudden curse of pleasure burning through her.

Kimberley smiles and does what her wife asked. She towel dries the brunette's hair with care, placing a few kisses to her forehead during the process.

"There you are love," She swoops down and gives her another lingering kiss. "Let's go have some breakfast before you have to go." With one last kiss they exit the bathroom and head down to the kitchen with the towels still wrapped firmly around their bodies.

"I'm not excited to go back" Cheryl admits sadly, "It's going to be weird with Maddy not there." Kimberley smiles sadly, she doesn't want to upset her wife by getting upset herself, so she busies her emotions with their breakfast.

"We'll setup a date to have a chat with her," She tries to comfort her.

"What if she doesn't want to?" Cheryl asks, her fingers mindlessly trace the granite top; she wasn't in any mood to cry this morning. She'd cried enough last night.

"We can only hope for the best? Right?" Kimberley turns around with two bowls of cereal overflowing with milk, just the way Cheryl loved her cereal.

"Why are we having that?" She asks, but nevertheless age accepts the large bowl.

"Well, lets see," They walk over to the breakfast table. "I'm far too lazy to make you a fry up, if that's what you were hoping for." They giggle and eat their simple breakfast.

"What's the plan for today?" Cheryl asks with a mouth full of food.

Kimberley chuckles and reaches over to wipe the drooping milk from the corner of her wife's mouth.

"I have to go into work today, I'll probably be home by the time you get in as well-"

"I'll be home late though, do yous have a lot of cake orders?" Cheryl asks with full interest.

"Mhm," Kimberley chews her food before replying, "I have about five wedding cakes, and a few side orders. So it's a busy day for us."

"Argh," Cheryl groans, "I wanted you to come visit us." She pouts.

Kimberley mocks her pout getting a giggle in return.

"I can always visit you another day, as long as I get to sleep with you in bed tonight, that's all that matters to me." Kimberley speaks unconsciously, getting a wide smile from her wife.

"Right?" She asks again.

"Mhm, that's all that matters.. Give us a kiss."

---

Madison grows bored through the day; she'd visited Chris for hours. The abandoned building grew dull, and her thoughts were running wild.

She'd gotten countless amounts of texts and calls from Cheryl, but of course, she ignored them all.

They were pleading texts.

They were begging.

They were apologetic.

She didn't care; she wasn't ready to have a talk with the woman that supposedly gave her up. She wasn't ready to cave under those brown eyes, and their sparkle that spoke a million stars to her.

With her skateboard in hand, she strolls through the city, her eyes capturing every scene she could get. She loved the busy streets, but she also loved the serene setting of the countryside. The quiet nights with crickets that would lullaby her to sleep.

She sets the skateboard down on the pavement and rides her way against the sidewalk, swishing and zooming through the pedestrians strolling casually.

Madison loved the winds, the calling of nature with breeze kissing her skin and seeping love into her soul.

She finds herself riding to the bakery she'd once fell in love with, the cakes her father had brought home one night. She's never stopped thinking about those moist treats, she dreamt of them for days.

Now with her skateboard blazing to the destination she'd longed for, she has no care with minutes or hours of reaching the bakery.

Her smile beams widely. She can smell the scent of sweet sugar lingering in the air, this gets her feet to rush against the ground faster and faster until she finally reaches the sweet shop.

Sweet Love Bakery

She carelessly rides her skateboard into the shop.

"Excuse me!" The woman behind the desk acknowledges her quickly. "Please get off that board and carry it in your hand! You're scratching our hardwood floors!" She tells her off.

"The floor looks like it needs repair mate," Madison rolls her eyes, and stubbornly stays on her board.

"It's called a rustic look," The brunette behind the counter groans. "I suggest you get off your board before I get the owner out here-"

"I'm just here for a cupcake for Christ sake! Calm it woman-"

Kimberley hears the shouting and screeching making its way to the baking room. She sets down her rolling pin and heads to the front of the shop.

Who she finds surprises her and for a moment she believed Madison had come to visit her.

"Madison?" Kimberley speaks softly, "What are you doing here?"

OF COURSE THIS IS HER BLOODY SHOP! Madison mentally screams.

"Erm," She clears her throat. "Just came for a cupcake." She averts her eyes to the cupcakes on display, one foot still on her board.

"Kimberley," Stacey widens her eyes, "Tell her to put that bloody board outside." She hisses to her.

"Don't worry about it Stacey.. Just go to the back and finish the cake I started." Without another word, the woking woman listens to her boss and goes to the back.

Kimberley discreetly rushes around the counter and stands beside the uninterested teen.

"So you came here for a cupcake?" She asks her casually, "Didn't you know this was my shop?"

"Not really.. No," Madison focuses her eyes on the cakes; she tries not to show her discomfort.

She was hiding it and masking herself with a cool aura, her uneasy state goes unnoticed by Kimberley.

"Do you want some cakes?" She asks her.

Madison shrugs and flips her board up.

She catches it in her hand and sets it safely in the corner.

"Red velvet?" Kimberley asks, already grabbing and putting every cake she sees in a large serving tray.

Again, Madison shrugs. She wasn't sure what to say, this whole situation was awkward, and she didn't want to look desperate.

"I'll just put you every kind like," Kimberley chuckles nervously.

"C'mere.. Do you want to sit on a table?" Madison shrugs again and follows Kimberley to an empty table.

She loved this woman, and she sure as hell didn't know how to reject her again.

"Sit, sit." The blonde urges her.

They take a seat across from each other; their eyes meet in a lock - muting the world out for a moment.

"What are you doing here?" Kimberley speaks softly.

"I just.. My dad once came here and got cupcakes, I didn't really know it was your shop." The teen rolls her eyes and grabs a red velvet cupcake; she stuffs her mouth with it in hopes to cover her sudden nerves.

"How are you?" The blonde speaks sweetly; she watches the teen shovel the sweets quickly. She never discourages her, she allows Madison to indulge in the sugared cakes.

"Fine," Madison shrugs and takes another bite out of her favorite cake. "So good.." she moans and licks her lips.

"I was going to call you today actually," Kimberley smiles. "I wanted to have a talk with you-"

"Does everyone want to have a talk with me today?" Madison rolls her eyes, "Can I just eat this cake and leave?" She rhetorically asks.

"No you can't have my cakes and fcuk off." Kimberley scuffs, "I want to have a chat with you I said-"

"Fine," Madison groans and settles back in the metal seat, "What is it you want to talk about?" She asks, taking the last bite out of her cupcake.

"I want to talk about why you won't listen to my wife-"

"Your wife is an asshole-"

"Madison," Kimberley grits her teeth, "You're walking on a very fine line right now."

"Walking on a very fine line right now" The teen mimics her "What line? I'm sitting! I'm not even walking." She rolls her eyes with a huff.

"You've really upset Cheryl you know," Kimberley speaks softly once again, "She just wants to talk to you properly-"

"Well I don't, don't I get a say in this? Do I ever get a say in anything?" Kimberley's eyes soften to those words. "It seems like I never get to have a say in anything, never, I never get to choose what I want." Madison rants unknowingly, her emotions from earlier making their presence known.

"Of course you get a say sweetheart-"

"Well it sure as hell doesn't feel like it," She sniffs and averts her eyes from the sympathetic blue-greys.

"What is it you want?" Kimberley asks, "Go on, what do you want to happen?"

"I want to be left a-alone." She hiccups.

"C'mere," Kimberley beckons her over.

Madison shakes her head and stays in place.

"Please, just c'mere"

Again, she gets a shake of the head from the teen.

"Would you get over here you stubborn cow?!"

The teen gets off her seat and allows Kimberley to pull her down to her lap.

"Would you relax and stop fidgeting?" Madison giggles and melts into Kimberley's arms.

I've never been held this way.

I've never been cared for this way.

"If you don't want an explanation then that's fine," Kimberley runs her fingers through Madison's hair. "But I really think you should think about it? Take some time and see if you want my wifes explanation.. I'll have you know it's a good one-"

"Don't tell Cheryl I was here," Madison cuts her off with a raspy whisper.

"What? Why?" Kimberley frowns, she cradles the teens face and forces their eyes to meet.

"If you want your wife to explain.. I need time. Just don't tell her I was here-"

"She wont care-"

"I might come back.. And I don't want her to be here.. If you really want her to explain.. Then don't tell her." Kimberley finds herself nodding, "Promise?" Madison snuggles into the woman's warm embrace.

Kimberley stays silent.

"You have to promise." Madison repeats.

"I promise."
