||Chapter 19||

-Author's POV-

~~~
"Catch up slowpoke!" Christopher calls out, Madison giggles keeping up with his rushed steps.
"Slow down and I might!" The teen speaks breathlessly. "Wait up!" Christopher stops in his tracks, and stretches out his hand; she takes it instantly.
"Come one," He assists her up the hill. "Be careful" She groans with each step, the muddy hill makes their feet unsteady.
"Where.. Where are we even going?" She breathes heavily.
"You're the one who said you wanted to watch the bloody stars-"
"Oh so this is my doing?" Her mouth opens in mock offense.
"Kind of-"
"Swear I'll kick you right now!" He laughs and shakes his head, still assisting her up the hill.
"We're almost there, quit your whining will you?"
"Fine." She huffs, they make it to the top with a little effort. The dark night making it difficult to see ahead; the stars and moon guide them. Dreams craft in their world as they near their newfound spot.
"Here we are" Chris helps the teen down first before taking a seat beside her.
They sigh.
"Lie back" She does as she's told, they lie beneath the stars absorbing the beautiful world above them.
"Did you bring me out here because of today?" She asks, her voice a low whisper. The only sounds to be heard are the soft melodies being created by crickets.
"Thought you'd want someone to talk to.." He trails off.
"Just hate my birthday is all," She shrugs.
"You shouldn't let the past-"
"You wouldn't understand Chris.. Mum and Dad love you. They adopted me when I was.. What? Five?" She shrugs again and releases yet another sigh.
"I love them you know.. They know I love them-"
"So why are you constantly trying to test it?"
"Can't help it" Tears brim her green eyes, the emotions from today have caught up to her. She always found comfort talking to her brother, even if he wasn't blood related, he was her soldier. He was the man that protected her from harms way.
"You need to fight it," He speaks in a dominant tone, sending words of encouragement right into her soul.
"I know I'm older than you-"
"You're ancient compared to me." They laugh.
"Still older than you, so I better get some respect." She nods and turns to him, giving him a playful punch to the shoulder.
"When do you have to go back?" She asks, her voice suddenly getting lower with sadness.
"I have a whole month here remember?" Madison nods, a stubborn tear trickles down her cheek.
"Do you have to go?" She whispers, he sits up and takes his sister into his arms.
"I've got to protect you somehow-"
"Going to the army isn't protecting me Chris" She hiccups and buries her face into his arms.
"I'm protecting my country-"
"You're not going to make a difference.. Please don't go."
He sighs.
"We've already had this conversation.. Can we please talk about something else?" She nods against him; their cuddle comes undone as they return to their earlier position.
They lie down and tell each other stories, their words escaping them and fluttering to the night.
"You'll write.. Wont you?"
"Of course" He smiles and gives her hand a squeeze.
Let's be happy, come on" He chuckles, hoping it would make her smile. "Let me tell you a story about a careless Chris." She closes her eyes and allows his voice to send her into a world filled with his memories.
~~~

Madison's cries have developed into occasional hiccups, she's feeble and still curled up on the sofa as Chris invades her memory. Her chin trembles with new emotions bubbling deep within her, she begs herself not to cry, she's sick of crying.

'That night was your fault'

She's mentally cursing herself, and most of all; she's cursing her existence.

It should have been me. Madison thinks to herself. It should have been me.

A soft knock to the door jolts her upright. They've come back. A teary smile forms her expression.

"C-Come in" Her words come out as a pathetic hiccup.

With Cheryl coming in, Madison's face wavers into a frown, soon turning into an angry expression.

"Please l-leave" She hiccups and stands to her feet; the need to avoid the Geordie's eyes was needed.

"I just wanted to see if you were okay-"

"Please," She tries again. "Please leave." Her tone speaks with firmness.

"Thought we were friends Maddy?" Cheryl asks pathetically, her feet still moving towards the distraught teen.

"I don't have friends." Madison clears up the vanity table, packing the rest of her belongings. She's sick of staying in this dressing room, the words still echo with her Mum's voice.

"Why don't we talk-"

"I said please leave!" The teen snaps, Cheryl's feet stop in their tracks. The evident anger in Madison's eyes didn't faze the Geordie. The greens circled with reds of blood vessels burst with rage.

"I'm leaving actually," She throws the bag over her shoulder and gets ready to leave.

Cheryl clasps the teen's hand.

"Let's just have a talk-" Madison yanks her hand and hurries out of the dressing room. Leaving her mentor behind with the words she'd previously heard from Clara.

"What the fcuk is happening?!" Cheryl sighs with frustration.

The Geordie takes a deep breath and exits the room, going back over to her own. Kimberley instantly sets down her phone and smiles as her wife comes through.

"What's up with you?" The blonde frowns and stands to her feet, going straight over to Cheryl.

"Madison," She begins with a sigh. "I overhead-"

"Overheard or were you putting your nose where it doesn't belong again?"

"Kimba," The Geordie whines and presses her forehead against Kimberley's chest. She releases a long groan of frustration.

"What did you overhear?" Cheryl pulls back and raises her eyebrow.

"Are you putting your nose where it doesn't belong?" She questions with a piercing pout as she forces the smirk back.

"No.." Kimberley grins and pulls Cheryl back into her arms. "I'm asking my nosey wife what she heard"

They giggle.

"Well," Cheryl continues her giggles as Kimberley peppers kisses to her neck.

"It's not meant to be funny.. I don't know why I'm laughing- would you stop that!" The blonde tightens her grip around Cheryl's waist as she makes her stay in place.

"Kimba!" She whines again.

"Fine," Kimberley huffs and pulls back. "You're always ruining all the fun." She raises her eyebrows, getting a roll of the eyes from Cheryl.

"And you need to keep it in your pants-"

"Cheryl I don't have a dick" Kimberley chuckles and sits back on the sofa with her arms resting atop of the headrests.

"You act it sometimes." Cheryl tuts and changes out of her dress.

"Need some help?" Kimberley asks as she watches her wife struggle with the zipper.

"No, I got it." The Geordie shoots her a look. "You'll probably end up fcuking us here if I let you help us." Kimberley laughs wholeheartedly; the loud musical laugh gets Cheryl smiling.

"Pervert."

"You love it." The blonde winks at her, not listening to her wife's rejection; she stands to her feet and walks over to the struggling Geordie.

"Here," Kimberley stills her frantic hand fighting with the zip. "Let me." Cheryl smiles to the feel of the blonde's lips and fingers brushing to her skin as the zipper descends.

"Did I take you? See? I controlled myself." Kimberley steps back and returns to the sofa. She licks her lips as she watches Cheryl get dressed, the Geordie's toned and bronzed legs will always get her weak.

"You look like you're about ready to combust babe" Cheryl giggles and slips on a tracksuit and slippers.

"C'mere" She pats her lap for the Geordie to sit, the blushing brunette bites her lower lip and sits herself on Kimberley's lap, she envelopes her arms around her neck and places a chaste kiss to the puckering lips.

"Tell me," Kimberley whispers against Cheryl's lips, her hands working into the back of her sweater.

"I heard them arguing" Cheryl speaks; her eyes grow wide at the memory.

"What were they arguing about?"

"Someone named Chris.. Madison was crying" Kimberley frowns.

"Did you talk to her-"

"She wouldn't talk to us.. Kept saying to leave her alone. I don't want to push her like.. I thought we were getting somewhere with her." Cheryl sighs and rests her head to the blondes shoulder. Her worried orbs flutter to the soothing feel of Kimberley's hands stroking her bare back.

"She'll come around" She tries to reassure the troubled Geordie.

"Hmm.. Baby I'm so tired," Cheryl yawns. "Can we go home now?"

Kimberley smiles. Could she get anymore adorable?

"Aw," She coos, "I thought we could go for a bite to eat-"

"I'll make you something to eat," Cheryl yawns again, her eyes water with sleepiness.

"Alright then." The blonde grins and helps her wife up to her feet. She decides to stay quiet and keep her dirty thoughts to herself.

"Maybe we can have some desert," She starts, they make their way out of the dressing room and straight to the parking structure where Kimberley had parked her car.

"And have it in bed-"

"Kimberley," Cheryl begins with a groan. "I know what you're after! It's not happening tonight!" Cheryl groans again as her wife helps her into the car. Without a response the blonde walks over to the drivers side before replying.

"I will forever keep you happy-"

"Don't you start with that!" Cheryl hisses and swats Kimberley's forearm.

"Hey! Watch it!" She frowns at the scowling Geordie. "I'm trying to drive here-"

"It's not going to work!" Cheryl argues and folds her arms across her chest.

"Don't make a vow if you can't keep it-"

"Didn't think you'd use it against us for the rest of me life." Kimberley smiles to those words, she stays quiet pondering them; her eyes gazing at the road ahead.

"Why have you gone all quiet now?" Cheryl questions, "Can't think of a good comeback I see?" She giggles triumphantly.

"I liked the sound of that," Kimberley smiles at her wife, and quickly averts the blue-greys back to the road.

"Sound of what?" She questions with a frown.

"I like the thought of using it against you for the rest of your like.. Well.. The rest of our lives together." Kimberley blushes, she blindly reaches out for Cheryl's hand and holds it with affection.

Cheryl bites her lower lip and looks out the window.

"I like the thought of us being together.. Forever" The blonde continues her sweet talk. "Don't you?" She asks.

Cheryl turns around and looks at the profile of Kimberley's face. She always did love the blondes structure, she was sure it was crafted with time and attentiveness.

"Hmm?" Kimberley turns to look at Cheryl as she stops at the red light.

"I like that thought very much." The brunette finally speaks, she leans over and places a kiss to the exotic lips. Their faces illuminate with reds beaming from the stoplight.

"Very much," Cheryl mumbles into the kiss.

They pull away naturally.

"Can I tell you something?" Kimberley begins as she continues to drive them home.

"Tell us something" Cheryl giggles; she unconsciously plays with her wife's wedding ring while listening to the blonde's words.

"I don't want to be that couple that only has sex at nine o'clock in bed," Cheryl frowns in confusion, not sure where her wife was taking this.

"I want to see you at eight in the morning, washing your face in the bathroom.. And fcuk you right there-"

"Kimberley, oh my god!" Cheryl gasps in shock, but she can't help but laugh at the outburst.

"I'm just saying.. I don't want to be one of those couples where it's a routine when it comes to sex. I want us to be the couple that has sex spontaneously in the kitchen, or unexpectedly while watching our tv show.. I don't want us to ever expect it like" She shrugs once she's said her part. Cheryl smiles and understands her wife's ramble.

"So you wouldn't want to have sex in bed?" Cheryl asks, needing to understand a little more of what Kimberley was rambling about.

"No of course," She shakes her head before continuing. "I just.. I never want you to get bored from our sex life-"

"Think it's hard for us to get bored" Cheryl giggles. "We've got a sex maniac in our house."

They laugh.

"You love it" Kimberley glances over with a beaming smile.

"I do," Cheryl sighs; her eyes focus back on the hand she'd been playing with through the car journey. A thought comes to mind.

With a deep breath, she takes Kimberley's hand and forces it into her sweat pants.

"I love it very much," She intakes a deep breath. Kimberley's lower lip clasps between her teeth as she does what her wife wordlessly requested. Slipping her hand into the lacey underwear, she begins to stroke her middle finger through the flaps of Cheryl's cunt.

"Mmm" The Geordie throws her head back; knowingly her legs begin to spread with desperation to feel Kimberley inside of her.

Kimberley is unable to keep her focus on the road. Swiftly she pulls her hand out and drives them to an abandoned zone.

"Get over here." The blonde demands, she parks the car and removes her safety belt.

Cheryl climbs across and straddles her wife's legs. With Kimberley's seat readjusted they manage to freely explore each other.

"Ahh" The younger woman throws her head back with the bites being teethed into her neck. Kimberley works fast, she was always fast with her hands. She removes Cheryl's jumper and latches her mouth to the perky cleavage, her arms wrap tightly wrapped around the toned waist before her.

Cheryl's hips unknowingly begin to rock against Kimberley's midriff.

The urgency in their touches explode deep in their cores. The fire ignited fogs up the vehicle with each breath released into the compact space.

The car begins to rock.

Lips find each other in a heated kiss.

Kimberley's hand finds itself back into Cheryl's pants, this time, going straight into her with immediate thrusts.

"Uh-mmm" Cheryl whines in pleasure, hissing her moans into Kimberley's mouth. The kiss turns sloppy, and frantic. With Cheryl on the brink of her undoing, her screams sound into the car.

She slams her hand to the fogged up window, streaking her print as she comes undone.

"Ahh!" She moans again, Kimberley tugs the bottom of her wife's lip as she slows down her movement. Cheryl's hips roll leisurely as she rides out the rest of her orgasm with pleasure streaming throughout her system. The only pleasure Kimberley was able to give her.

"Oh god" Cheryl pants and falls into her wife's arms. Her breathing is raged, as was Kimberley's.

"You okay?" The blonde chuckles and strokes her wife's back. Scrapping her nails to the flawless flesh.

"Mmm" Cheryl whimpers in response.

"I'm going to need you to sit back in your seat baby," Kimberley can't seem to stop giggling at her wife's state. She was feeling smug with her work.

"You've killed us," The blonde laughs again and places delicate kisses to Cheryl's shoulder.

"You kill me everyday with your sexiness-"

"Oh god! I can't do round two Kimba." And just like that, she leaps back across to her seat.

"Never one to pleasure me! You're getting selfish Mrs." Cheryl laughs sleepily.

"I wove you" She coos; taking her wifes hand back in her own.

"Keeping your jumper off?" Kimberley asks as they resume their drive back home.

"Too tired baby," Cheryl yawns. "Too tired." She falls asleep, and this only brings more love into the car. Filling it into Kimberley, her heart rages with love, and it was all down to the adorable Geordie sleeping soundly.

It's something extraordinary; they said a love like this only existed in storybooks, songs that were written with broken hearts. Kimberley thinks to herself as she drives home that night, her hand still clasped with the sleeping brunette. The car is pacified with silence, the odd snore escaping her beautiful wife's lips.

She's fcuking adorable.

----

Madison bites her lower lip as she sneaks out of bed that late night. The clock reads 3:00am, and her insides were urging the teen to escape this confined space.

Quietly she changes into a pair of shorts and a vest top, without a sound she slips on her trainers. One last glance to the girls sleeping in the bunks; a sigh of relief escapes her lips as she climbs out of the window. The moment her feet touch the ground; she's sprinting with a smile beaming widely.

Need to find a hill. She mentally pants.

Need to find a hill.

----

The married couple sleeps soundly, their limbs and arms wrapped tightly around each other. It's a perfect scene, the sweet sounds of exhaustion echo into the stilled bedroom, the darkness sealed into the space; just the way Cheryl liked it.

Not a single light seeps through the curtains; it's perfect.

Soon enough, the loud tune from Cheryl's phone jolts her out of the deep slumber she'd once found peace in. She fumbles around until she grasps the mobile, sliding the screen without a thought; she accepts the call.

"Ello?" She croaks, her body still desperate for sleep.

"Cheryl? I'm sorry to call so late" The familiar voice gets her to check the caller I.D.

"Ella?" The Geordie questions with a frown.

"Sorry," The teen begins, "But there's a problem"

"What's the matter?" Cheryl sits up fully, and turns on the lamp; illuminating the once darkened bedroom with a soft yellow glow.

"Madison snuck out-"

"What do you mean she snuck out?" Cheryl sighs heavily, her fingers run through the brown locks in frustration.

"I saw her climbing out of the window-"

"Why didn't you stop her then? It would have saved us this phone call?!" Cheryl hisses, Ella gulps on the other line. She wanted more than anything to get Madison into trouble for her rebellious behavior, but of course that wasn't the case.

"She didn't listen to me-"

"So did you try and stop her or not?!" Ella winces with her eyes closed, the lie escapes her lips before she can stop herself.

"I did and she didn't care so she just jumped out of the window and ran-"

"Alright, slow it down." Cheryl finds herself climbing out of bed and throwing anything on.

"Do you remember which way she'd gone?" Ella thinks for a moment.

"Left.. No right.. No definitely left-"

"I'm going to shut the phone now.. Swear to god you girls are going to give us a stroke I tell ya!" Cheryl snaps and ends the call.

"Kimba," The exhausted Geordie makes her way over to a sleeping Kimberley.

"Baby-"

"Not now Cheryl," Kimberley yawns and turns her body away from her wife.

"Kim-"

"Go away."

Cheryl groans in annoyance and gives her wife a shove to the shoulder.

"I'm leaving-"

"Get us something on your way back.. Hmm... Goodnight" Seeing as Kimberley wasn't going to wake up, she decides to leave her there. With the car keys in hand, she exits the home and turns the car on; ready to search for Madison.

---

It's raining; the drops are pouring down on her. The heavy drips grow louder; booming and echoing to every bound it collides with. She spots a hill in the spray of the chaotic storm.

She smiles.

The fresh water falls down on her face, streaming quickly. She's completely soaked, it doesn't bother her, and nothing could discourage her in this moment.

Madison tries, but fails to climb the hill. She slips and fumbles with the mud; crawling and slipping her way up to the top, it's not use.

"Fcuk!" She shouts, her foot slips once again making her tumble down to the bottom. The teen tries again, and again, until she's covered in the dirty browns of muck.

"Argh!" Wiping her face in frustration she screams with each step she forces into the ground. The rain still pours heavily down on her, the sun slowly begins to creep up but the rain never stops.

"FCUK!" She screams as she takes another fall, scraping her knees and elbows on the way down.

The rain begins to settle; mud covers and hardens to her skin. Madison's perfectly structured face nowhere to be seen with the mud coating it. She sits on the muddy ground with annoyance.

I just wanted to watch the stars. She mentally speaks to herself.

Her bum now drips with mud, only irritating her further. Deciding there was no use sitting around, she begins her journey back to the contestant's home.

Wherever that was.

--

Cheryl gives up and parks the car around the corner; she'd ended her call with Ella for the fourth time that morning. She's exhausted and couldn't get herself to drive much longer.

With a sigh, she settles back into her leather seat.

Cheryl hoped she'd find Madison, maybe hoping the teen would open up to her if she did. Swear she's going to be the death of us. The Geordie mentally screams to herself.

Fate. It was fate, to two souls were magnetically connected, even if they didn't believe it, they soon would open their eyes to the world that was hidden from them. Their worlds would soon flash in bright lights, alerting the two blood related souls.

Madison drags her feet through the early morning streets, not a car in sight; this gets her to sigh in relief. She didn't want people to question her horrid appearance, the browns have turned to greys and her once olive skin tone was nowhere to be seen.

Birds chirp with beautiful tunes, she smiles as the wet grounds glisten with the morning sunlight. Trees aligned either side of the road, bright and vibrant. Just as she began to enjoy her morning walk, she makes a turn ending nature's natural beauty.

A black Range Rover parks ahead. She doesn't think much into it, which isn't until the loud horn stops her heart, making it beat quicker.

"Madison!" Cheryl calls out from her window and drives up to the drenched teen.

"What in gods name - where have you been?! Huh?! I've been looking for you all morning! I looked like a fcuking psychotic driver, driving up along them roads looking for me - why are you filthy?!" Cheryl stops her shouts and climbs out of the car; Madison has yet to say a single word.

"Where have you been?" Cheryl hisses again, taking a step closer to the teen; she takes in her appearance.

"I was.. We.. We.. I.. We used to wa-watch the stars and I was looking for a hill and it started raining I found the hill I was climbing it and I slipped and the mud got everywhere and all I wanted to do was watch the stars but I couldn't even do that because of the fcuking mud and it was awful." Cheryl frowns in a confused expression, the teens ramble only gets her to smile, and hold back the laughter.

"Right.." Cheryl begins, "So you thought it was a good idea to climb out of the bloody window and sneak off to watch them stupid stars-"

"It's not stupid!" The teen snaps, "It's beautiful-"

"Well you're looking pretty stupid to us right now, look at you!" Madison looks down to the ground, her once cocky character has disappeared.

"Excuse me," The teen tries to walk past Cheryl, but is stopped promptly.

"You're not going anywhere.. Get in the car-"

"I'm walking back to the house." The teen's weak energy couldn't fight off the older woman's tight grasp this time.

"Get in the car - actually don't get in the car. Kimba will kill us if you get mud on her seats.. Give us a second-"

"I don't need you taking me anywhere! And could you please let me go-"

"Where did she put that damn blanket" Cheryl speaks to herself as she looks for the blanket, all while keeping her hold on the teens arm.

"Found it.. Right, let us just put it on the seat for you.. Come on, keep up-"

"Are you trying to be funny right now?" Madison rolls her eyes as she allows Cheryl to pull her whichever way she aspired.

"Me wife tells us I'm pretty funny without trying.. Now, sit here" The Geordie sets the blanket and pushes the teen into the passenger seat, forcing her down.

"You look a mess-"

"Thanks." The teen rolls her eyes again, grumping with her arms folded across her chest as Cheryl makes her way to the driver's side.

"Keep your muddy shoes off the floor!" Cheryl tells her off seriously.

"You're the one that's forcing me into this car, so face the consequence's." Madison shoots back and puts her muddy trainers to the ground, ignoring Cheryl's scowl.

"Can I tell you something?" The Geordie says with a forced smile.

"Sure.. Not like I can stop you."

"I like to drive in the morning without a sound.. Meaning.. Not a sound." Madison forces herself not to reply, her scowled expression only grows as Cheryl drives in the opposite direction of her original destination.

"You're going the-"

"Not a sound." Madison grumbles in her seat, it's become a job moving her features with the tight mask the mud had created.

"I'm not going down." The teen speaks up; Cheryl ignores her completely and puts in the codes to her gated home. The gates open with luxury.

"Not going-"

"No choiceeee" Cheryl sings, it only ticks Madison off. Cheryl seemed to know every button to press, and she's pressed every single one of them.

"For someone who's forty-"

"Finish the rest of that sentence and I'm hosing you down in the fcuking garden." Madison bites her muddy lower lip and averts her smiling eyes out of sight.

"Out you get." Cheryl quickly climbs out of the car, and rushes over to the teen's side. Making sure she wasn't running off anywhere.

"I'm not disabled.. I can walk you know-"

"Didn't doubt your walking," Cheryl rolls her eyes. "Just.. You'll get me wifes seats muddy-"

"Could have managed my way back to the house just fine, I don't need you doing anything for me-"

"You should be a little more grateful, I drove around for hours-"

"What is it you want? Recognition? Did they not pap you driving around in search of the troubled contestant? Shall we go back and try again-"

"You don't know a single thing about us do you?" Cheryl laughs dryly and shuts the passenger door.

"Don't really care to be honest-"

"Didn't think you did-"

"Cheryl!" Kimberley breaks through the tension, her voice sounds from the front door.

"Where have you been?!" She snaps, never seeing Madison hidden behind the tinted car doors.

"I went-"

"You just leave without telling me?" The blonde sighs in frustration.

"See who wears the pants in this relationship-"

"I'm this fcuking close to taking you back-"

"Who're you talking to?" Kimberley steps down to the graveled ground and finally sees a muddy Madison.

"What have you two been doing?" She raises her eyebrow in question.

"Miss Madison here thought it was a good idea to sneak out at night and watch the bloody stars" Cheryl speaks sarcastically.

"You found her?" Kimebrley questions her wife.

"Not really-"

"You found her, you take care of her.. I need a fcuking coffee." Kimberley rants as she makes her way back into the house, mumbling inaudible words.

"Sounds like I'm some sort of stray dog you've found on the streets" Madison rolls her eyes.

"Dogs are cute" Cheryl winks and pulls the teen into the large home, taking her straight up to the guest bedroom.

"Don't touch a single thing!" Cheryl warns her, Madison sighs and stands in the middle of the luxury en-suite. The tub built in front of the floor length windows, looking out to the garden that took her breath away. The sun slowly creeps higher; leaching it's way into the white en-suite. The marbled flooring proved the luxury Kimberley and Cheryl lived.

"Right strip down and get in the bath-"

"Erm.. I'm not getting in anywhere until you leave-"

"You've got cuts, I just need to make sure they're not deep."

"I can do that myself-"

"Strip and get in the tub now." Cheryl speaks with authority. Madison groans and takes off the vest top and shorts, staying in her black bra and underwear.

"Not like I've not seen tits.. I've got tits and a v-"

"This could be classified as perving which can lead you to be a pedophile! I suggest you stop there." Cheryl rolls her eyes at the teens words and runs the warm water in the shower.

"Get in then" Cheryl takes the teens hand, this time she grasps it gently. Helping Madison beneath the running water.

"You're going to get soaked-"

"I've got me morning workout, so I'll be showering after.. It's fine. Wash yourself and I'll get the first aid kit." Madison nods and does as she's told, washing every part of her body from the mucky remains. She smiles at the Geordie's kind gesture.

She's a pain, but she's alright.

The burning sensation keeps her alert. She's exhausted and with each second under the water, it only makes her want the bed and cold pillow to sleep on.

"Okay, I think that's good.. Come out," The running water turns off.

"I didn't turn it off-"

"I did you numpty, come out." Cheryl giggles and shakes her head. She stands outside the glassed shower doors with a towel.

"How'd you do that from the outside?" The teen asks as she dries herself.

"The screen" Cheryl nods towards the small screen built into the wall beside the glass doors.

"Right.. - Ouch." Madison flinches to the cuts slightly bleeding.

"C'mere" She allows Cheryl to lead her out to the bedroom, and perching them both down on the sofa.

"Let us see your hands." Cheryl's hands roam Madison's arms for any cuts, she finds two slashes across the elbows. She begins to clean and mend the openings.

"Ow"

"You're alright," Cheryl concentrats as she plasters the openings with care.

"All better." They share a smile.

"Give us your legs now." She pats her lap and takes the teens legs reluctantly placing them there.

"Just a few here," Cheryl smiles at the wincing teen. "It'll only take a second-"

"I don't like blood" Madison closes her eyes, forcing the memories away.

"It's only a bit-"

"Please hurry." The green eyes begin to water, and this instantly gets Cheryl's heart to sink in question. Without another word, the Geordie quickly cleans up the mess.

"You are alright," She gives Madison's thigh a squeeze and gently sets her legs back down.

"Let us get you some clothes.. Okay?" The teen nods and watches the Geordie exit the bedroom.

Please hurry. She mentally pleads.

"Got you a pair of me pajamas.. Is that okay?" Madison nods again.

"Oh! Underwear-"

"It's alright," Madison quickly stops her, "I don't usually sleep in underwear."

"I'll just set them on the side-"

"Later," Cheryl frowns and gives in.

"You okay?"

"Yeah fine.. Just one second.. Let me just wear these" The teen laughs nervously and limps her way into the ensuite; she ignores the pain and changes hastily.

"Done?"

"Yeah.. Erm," Madison clears her throat. "Would it be alright if I take a nap-"

"Course, that's what I was going to ask.. C'mere" Madison allows Cheryl to lead her to the plush bed. Standing by her side, she waits until the covers are thrown back.

"Get in babe." Madison smiles, silently thanking the kind woman.

"You sleep as long as you like, you don't have any rehearsals today.. So you've got a day off. Erm.. Well," Cheryl clears her throat this time, and straightens up.

"Goodnight.. If you need us I'll be downstairs or upstairs.. Or somewhere in the house-"

"I get it Cheryl," Madison giggles and unexpectedly yawns. "I'll look for you if I need you." Her green orbs flutter shut, a ghost smile playing on her expression.

"Goodnight sweets" Cheryl whispers, and holds back the urge to kiss the teen into her sleep.

"Thank you" Madison whispers softly, Cheryl smiles and exits the bedroom. Leaving the sleeping teen to the enter dreamland with peaceful thoughts.
