|| Chapter 108 ||

-Author's POV-

Finlay stands at the door, gob-smacked and confused.

He clears his throat, "Erm.. I.. Huh?" His eyebrows furrow together, dumbstruck.

Madison quickly climbs off Rita's lap, trying to catch her breath. "Erm." She too can't find her words; she moves her feet and quickly darts over to him, leaving a smirking Rita behind.

"Let's go inside." Madison grasps Finlay's arm and pushes him out of the room.

"Are you two a thing?" He asks, his own breath seemingly taken away.

"No.. No." The teen's cheeks fire up in embarrassment. "Please don't say anything?" she pleads, sitting him back down in the living room. "Please." She practically begs, her flustered state making her uncomfortable by the second.

"But I just saw—"

"It's not what it looks like." She cuts him off.

"I saw your tongue down her throat, Madison. You can't lie your way out of it." Finlay laughs, shaking his head. "You can't Madison, you're fifteen—"

"It's... Complicated—"

"She can get sent to jail for this Maddy—"

"Finlay!" Madison grits, "Enough. You can't say anything – I'm begging you." The tears brim, her gorgeous greens enhancing that much more.

"This has to stop." He stands to his feet, just in time for Rita to come through. "You're fcuking sick!" He hisses, looking Rita dead in the eyes.

"I think it's time you leave." The blonde crosses her arms, unimpressed with his presence.

"Madison is coming with me." He grips a hold of the teen's hand, forcing her to her feet.

"Let her go!" Rita darts straight at him, fighting his grip off the teen.

"Stop!" Madison pleads, tears streaking down her cheeks. The loud chaos between Finlay and Rita grows, both fighting over the teen.

"Let her go I fcuking said!" Rita grits, pushing Finlay back, resulting to Madison being shoved to the ground. The older woman is quick to help the teen back up to her feet, pulling her to stand behind her in protection. "Get out!"

"I'm not done with you." Finlay breathes, standing to his feet. "Madison, just come with me. This isn't right."

Madison remains quiet, closing her eyes in hopes to wakeup from this nightmare. She hangs on tightly to the back of Rita's shirt, shaking wildly.

"I said get out." Rita clenches her jaw, veins bulging from her neck. "Get. The. Fcuk. Out." She grits, pointing her finger in the direction of the door.

Finlay narrows his eyes at her, "You're sick in the head." He exits the lake house, slamming the door on his way out.

Madison breaks down instantly, Rita swiftly catches the teen in her arms, moving them to the sofa, she holds her close.

"Shh." She hums, placing kisses to the hysteric teens head. "You're okay, I'm here."

"H-He – H-He." She repeats, unable to catch a single breath.

"Baby, just breathe. Just breathe." Rita inhales and exhales deeply, displaying the action until Madison finally gets her breathing under control.

"He-" Madison takes a deep breath, "He's going to, to, to tell." She cries, clinging tightly to Rita.

"He won't—"

"He will—"

"He won't." Rita says firmly this time, "He cares too much for you to say anything." She reassures the teen, only resulting Madison to cry all over again.

She yelps out in guilt.

Rita keeps still, but never does she release Madison from her arms, only holding her closer. She lets Madison cry it out, it might have been minutes or hours, yet, she still held onto her, kissing her, whispering sweet words into her ear as the cries began to gradually die down.

"You good?" Rita asks, laughing lightly.

Madison sniffs, "I feel like shite."

"Why?"

"Because I knew that he sorta liked me." She hiccups, "I don't want him to think I just used him."

"Well, I'm sure he's a big boy, he'll get over it."

"I should call him—" Madison goes to stand up, but Rita grips her tightly, giving her no option but to stay in place.

"No."

"Rita—"

"Maddy—"

"I'm not playing this game." The teen rolls her eyes, tears still glistening. "Let go."

"Nope." Rita smirks, winding Madison up.

"Rita!" She snaps.

The older woman shrugs, over and over again.

Madison sighs, rolling her eyes. "You need to grow up."

"So lets grow up together."

It's quiet... and then, giggles.

Cheryl's POV

"Babe?" I call out, putting the last of the groceries onto the kitchen counter. "Baby!" I call out again, sighing. Kimberley could never multitask. I sigh once more, exiting the kitchen just in time for me wife to come through the front door with the last of the shopping.

"There isn't anything left." Kimberley exhales, placing the filled brown bags atop of the counter. "Did you want to help me prepare a few things?" She asks, already emptying the shopping bags.

I smile, "Sure." I watch her, taking notice of her concentrated expression. Pouted lips, deep in thought crease between her eyebrows, her lipstick seemingly wearing off from the endless kisses we've shared in such a short time since leaving the house.

I'm so in love.

"Stop staring at me." She says, never looking at us. She places a blonde strand from her short hair behind her ear, organizing the grocery.

"I find it funny," I giggle. "How is it that you're the messiest person I know, yet only ever anal in the kitchen."

"We could try anal but you're not all for that, are you now?" She winks, getting a roll of the eyes from us.

"You're so bloody kinky." I give her a playful swat to the shoulder; "Your mind is always in the gutter."

"Yeah?" She bites her lower lip, looking at us with a smirk. "I quite like my mind there thank you very much." She gives us a wink. "Now can you help me? Or am I going to be doing the preparing on my own?"

"Just tell us what to do." I huff, pretending to be annoyed.

"That won't be too hard."

I roll me eyes.

------

Madison's POV

I was nervous to say the least; I couldn't stop fidgeting, palms sweating, heartbeat picking up and suddenly stopping when my Dad came home that night. I couldn't look him in the eyes, but I couldn't stop, I didn't want to.

Rita had a hold on me; I knew that. I knew I was desperate for the type of affection she was giving me, her hands were addicting to my skin, and I... was hooked.

"What time do you think we should go over to your Mam's tomorrow?" Dad casually asks, taking a seat beside me on the sofa.

I hold my breath, ready to panic.

Rita speaks up, saving me "Probably seven is best." She was so calm, how? How could she be so calm around someone she supposedly loved? We were sinning so easily, so discreetly, going completely unnoticed by Jamie. I felt so terribly guilty, but whenever my lips touched hers, I couldn't let go, I couldn't control my desires.

"That sounds good to me." He speaks, scrolling through his phone.

My eyes connect with Rita, silently speaking to each to her.

She bulges her eyes at me, telling me to get my sh*t together. If I could hear her right now, she'd say exactly this "What the fcuk is wrong with you?" but I couldn't help it.

"Maz," Dad takes my attention. "You wouldn't want to stay a few more days?" He asks, I knew he wanted me to live here, forever. But I couldn't, I could never leave my parents, they were everything to me.

"I.. Mam said she really misses me." I reply. I wasn't lying; I knew how much they were missing me, as was I.

"I better be seeing you around here, okay?" He gives me a wink.

"I'd better hope so." Rita smiles, "I've grown attached to her." She tells Jamie, giving me a wink.

I blush, madly.

"See," Dad waves his hands, "You have to be here more often." He chuckles.

"I know, I know." I sight, "I'm not disappearing—"

"Not this time." Rita winks, going unnoticed by Dad.

I take a deep breath, "What are we doing for the rest of the night?" Noticing our casual state for the first time, all three of us plopped on a sofa, legs kicked back onto the coffee table, with relaxed conversation filling the air.

"I was going to order us a pizza and Rita, pick a film?" They choose the plans, uncaring to ask for my opinion.

"Sounds good to me." They stand to their feet, Rita picking the film and Dad walking away to order the pizza.

"Thanks for asking." I tell Rita, rolling my eyes.

"What?" She turns around, giving me attention instead of the rack of DVD's.

"What if I didn't want pizza, like?"

"What if you could have just said that you didn't?" She frowns, "It's never stopped you before." She shrugs, turning back around to pick the film.

"You change when he's around." The words spurt from my mouth, too late for me to take them back.

"What?" Rita's head snaps back.

"You heard me." I try my best to seem confident, I wasn't jealous.. At least I didn't think I was?

"I don't bloody change." She scoffs, "How?"

"You just do."

"If you're going to argue over something at least have your damn facts."

"You're annoying. I can't wait to go back home." I was fed up; she switched like a light when Dad was around. I never seemed to matter, my thoughts nor opinions, all she seemed to want was his approval of everything.

"Oh please." She laughs, rolling her eyes.

"You're such a little b*tch to him," I laugh, taking the b*tchy route. "It's comical." I knew how to play my cards, and I could tell by her expression that she was getting wound up.

"I'm not." She scoffs.

"If you say so." I shrug, casually looking at my nails, suppressing a smirk.

"I'm not." She repeats.

"What are you now?" I raise an eyebrow, "Are you a broken record?" I laugh.

Dad strolls through before Rita gets any chance to reply, although I'm sure whatever comeback she had in mind would have probably went "I'm not." But that's just a guess – fact.

------

Author's POV

Rita returns to her seat, frowning. She wasn't sure where the teens outburst had come from, the anger in Madison's tone alarming her. She never wanted to upset her, deep down she did love Jamie.. but, Madison was quickly growing on her.

Jamie takes no notice of the two girls fidgeting in their spot, Madison desperate to go home at this point.

She finds herself rolling her eyes through the night, arms folded, not bothering to eat.

"Come on Maz, just one slice." Jamie encourages his daughter, reaching over for another slice.

"Dad I told you I'm not hungry." She sighs, rolling her eyes. "Not like I'm embarrassed or some sh*t."

He chuckles, "For an elegant girl you sure have a dirty mouth."

"What?" She giggles. "I said sh*t?"

"Yeah, Maddy loves her profanity." Rita smirks, "Isn't that right?"

The teen sighs, annoyed. "I think I'm gong to head up to bed." She stands, "Youse enjoy your night." She fakes a smile.

"Ah come on, Champ." Jamie pleads, "Sit, lets at least finish the rest of this film."

"No honestly," She fakes a yawn. "I'm really tired." She walks away before they could protest anymore. She was really missing her parents, all she desired in this moment was to cuddle into bed with them and talk some nonsense for the rest of the night.

She decides to call them, needing to hear their voice before sleep would come for her.

Ring.

Ring.

Ring.

"Hello? – Hey Sweets." Cheryl smiles, shuffling back into bed and cuddling her wife. "You okay?"

"Hi Mammy." She breathes, she too snuggling into bed and getting comfortable. "I can't wait to come home tomorrow."

"Did something happen?" Cheryl frowns, mindlessly stroking Kimberley's bare stomach.

"No, nothing happened, I'm just really missing youse." Madison pouts, if she could, she'd run straight over to her parents house right now. She was moody, needy and desperate for motherly affection.

"Aw baby, you'll be here tomorrow." Cheryl smiles, ready to take her daughter back into her arms, right where the teen belongs. "And when you do come, I, I want to have a talk with you."

Madison breathes, "I was preparing for that."

"It's needed babe."

"I know."

They fall into a comfortable silence, both processing everything happening in their lives.

"I hope I never disappoint you." Madison whispers, insecurely.

"You could never." Cheryl pouts, frowning. "What's brought this on?"

The teen suppresses her tears, "I.. I just don't want you to ever be disappointed in me." Her voice goes into a rasp, on the verge of tears.

"Hey.. Maddy please, I can't hold you right now."

The teen silently cries on the other end of the line, hoping her cries don't sound. Although, Cheryl knew her daughter was crying, and her heart was breaking along with the teens.

"I, love you." Madison sniffs, wiping her tears away in a harsh manor.

"I love you too, baby, look, tomorrow we'll talk all you like. Okay?" Cheryl desperately speaks, itching to hold her daughter in this moment.

"O-Okay," Madison hiccups. "I..I'm going to g-go to sleep now." She sniffs.

Cheryl sighs, "Give us a kiss then."

The teen gives her mother a kiss and ends the call, ready to cry herself to sleep.

Cheryl tosses her phone to the foot of the bed and hangs tightly to her sleeping wife. The night as going so well, the Tweedy-Walsh couple had a romantic meal, drank wine – well Kimberley drank on behalf of the both of them, resulting to drunken sex and snoring dreams erupting from the blonde's lips.

All of that didn't matter to Cheryl, especially when her little baby was crying herself to sleep. She couldn't wait until the teen was back in her arms; she made it a mission for tomorrow that she was no way in hell letting her little baby out of her arms.

She falls asleep with worry, keeping her position atop of her wife.

-----

Madison tosses and turns that night, Rita was unable to sneak into the teens bedroom as Jamie was home and he.. Well.. He was in the mood for a bit of intimacy. It saddened Madison in a way, she knew that Rita was aware of her uneasy state, and waking up alone the following morning only resulted to her being in a mood.

What's wrong with me? She'd thought.

She makes no effort in getting out of bed, unable to do anything but stay in the exact spot she woke in. Her phone was vibrating with incoming messages, but she wasn't in the mood to communicate with anyone.

Noon slips through and before she knew it the clock struck to two. Nobody seemed to mind it; in fact, they didn't bother checking in on her.

I can't wait to go home. She'd mentally repeated to herself.

She forces herself out of bed, bathing and taking her time. It wasn't a surprise to her when she realized she'd spent two hours in the bath, mindlessly staring off into the distance and suddenly feeling the once steaming water turn cool.

Four o'clock rolled through and that was when she was finally out of her bedroom, her attention completely given to the phone in hand.

"I thought you were never coming down." Rita casually says, smirking.

Madison shrugs, taking a seat on the sofa opposite of the blonde.

"What? Are you ignoring me?"

The teen remains silent, eyes lingering on the iPhone in hand.

"Madison." Rita speaks up, "Babe?"

"What?" Madison finally meets the eager brown eyes.

"What's gotten into you, baby?" She stands from her seat, taking the one beside the teen.

"Would you lower your voice." Madison looks around in search of her Dad.

"Relax, he's outside." The older woman rolls her eyes, resting her hand atop of the teen's thigh, giving it a rough stroke.

"Can you stop?"

"Why?"

"Because, enough." Madison abruptly stands, "Leave me alone Rita—"

"Baby what the fcuk?" Rita too stands, dumbstruck. "What's gotten into you—"

"Ask yourself that question." Madison goes to walkaway, but Rita stops her, grasping a hold of the teens hand. "Let go!"

"No, not until you tell me what the matter is." She pleads, never letting the teen go.

"You only care when he's not around." Madison snatches her hand out of the tight hold, "Don't talk to me when it's convenient to you, I'm not your little sex toy that you can whip out and fcuk whenever it pleases you."

Rita's eyes bulge out, completely surprised with the teens words. "That's not true—"

"Yeah. Well, I don't really care anymore so shove it up your ass." The teen walks away, returning to her bedroom. Rita is quick to follow, needing to make it right.

"Baby—"

"Get out!" The teen tries to push the older woman out, but unsuccessfully does so. "Get out!" She repeats, giving Rita another shove.

Rita slams the door and takes a hold of the teens wrists, trying to control her lashing. "Listen to me." She grits, eyes wide opened.

"I don't care to hear what you have to say – let me go!" Madison fights back, pushing Rita back until they collapse messily atop of the bed, both lashing out at one another.

"Baby please listen!" Rita pleads, on the verge of tears. "It's not like that!" She snaps, getting Madison to finally swallow her words, body lying in a breathless muddle. She forces herself not to look into the brown eyes she's found comfort in, not wanting to fall under the older woman's spell.

"I don't know how to act when he's around." Rita confesses.

"What do you mean?" Madison frowns, turning her head and finally meeting the beautiful browns.

"I'm scared he's going to notice something between us."

Madison sighs, understanding, "Yeah.. I get you, you're right." She breathes, "You're right, I don't know where that came from. I'm sorry—"

"Why're you apologizing, babe?" Rita giggles. "I can see that you like me." She gives her a cheeky wink, shuffling closer and closer until she was practically mounting the teen.

"I'm just.. I'm a little confused." Madison speaks honestly, "I've just never felt this way before." She mentally gulps, Rita leaning in closer, practically tasting her lips.

"Confused?" Rita whispers, hand remains stroking the teen's soft cheek. "Why are you confused?"

"I always said I could never see myself interested in someone with the same parts as me." They giggle, "Now.. Now I'm sleeping with an older woman, funny how life works."

Rita giggles, head falling to the teen's shoulder as she loses herself in a fit of giggles.

"Wasn't that funny, ya'no." Madison huffs, although smiling.

"You're so fcuking adorable," Rita whispers, shuffling up and hovering over the younger girl. "Did you know that?" She leans down, lips centimeters apart.

"I've been told." Madison breathes, allowing the kiss to happen, and most of all, allowing it to continue, because somewhere deep down in the pit of her fluttering stomach, swarming with butterflies and a web of complicated lies.. She liked it.

Author's POV

Kimberley and Cheryl run around preparing tonight's meal, needing it to be perfect. Cheryl trying her best not to burn the roast as she helps her wife, mash and veggies done to perfection along with a few other dishes they'd thought of at the last minute.

"I'll put them together, you go on and get dressed. They should be here soon." Kimberley speaks, but remains her focus on the food she's currently platting up in an elegant manner.

"You sure? I mean, I can—"

"Baby." Kimberley cuts her off, lightly giggling.

"What?" Cheryl pouts.

"C'mere." She beckons her over, instantly getting the Geordie to shuffle her way over.

"Hm?" She pouts, falling into her wife's opened arms.

"You're going to be okay," Kimberley laughs lightly, stroking her wife's back. "I'm going to be right beside you the entire time, glued to you, I swear."

"Promise?" Cheryl mumbles, holding on tightly.

Kimberley smiles, loving when her wife was like this. She places a kiss to the Geordie's exposed shoulder; one, two, three, she couldn't seem to stop kissing the silk skin.

With a last kiss, "I promise, honey cake."

This gets a giggle from the anxious brunette, they pull apart.

"I better go get dressed then." She takes a deep breath, giving her wife a quick kiss and dashing out of the kitchen, hurrying to get ready for the night. She doesn't need to try, she doesn't need to put any extra effort on her makeup, hair, or clothes. Cheryl wasn't looking to impress anyone, and her wife loved her anyway. She keeps her hair in a loose, messy, unbothered tie. So simple, yet so perfect. She opts for an off-white blouse and a pair of skinny jeans. Always wearing heels.

She makes her way back down to the blonde; just in time for Kimberley to put the finishing touches to the meal.

Kimberley turns around, smiling widely at her wife.

"Have I ever told you how lucky I am?" She giggles, stretching her hand out and waiting for the Geordie to make her way over.

Kimberley pulls her in, dropping her face into the Geordie's neck and inhaling the sweet scent.

Cheryl giggles, biting her lower lip, hands instantly feathering through the blondes tousled hair. "Mmm." She licks her lips, left leg involuntarily uprising off the ground and pointing back. She giggles.

"Am I getting lucky tonight?" Kimberley asks, pulling them back.

"Maybe, if you make us look good tonight—"

"Rude. When do I not make you look good.. Anyways," Kimberley rolls her eyes. "I think you'll do a swell job of looking good on your own." She licks her lips, eyes trailing down her wife's neckline and perving at the exposed cleavage poking out of the blouse. "Those look yummy." She comments, growling.

Cheryl rolls her eyes, playfully pushing her wife back. "How are you always on like this?"

"How could I not, I've got a bloody model in the house."

Cheryl tuts, but smiles.

They share a kiss, deep and passionate. As their kiss gradually begins to grow, they're forced apart with the doorbell and their daughter's obnoxious, eager and impatient knocks.

"Here we go." Kimberley takes her wife's hand with her own, leading them to the front door.

"AH!" Madison squeals, jumping into her parent's arms, uncaring of Rita nor Jamie. She missed them, as have they. Both Kimberley and Cheryl hold their daughter tightly, Cheryl never wanting to let her go.

Madison smiles, eyes flutter shut, arms wrapped around her parent's waists. She's missed this – she's missed them.

"Can we come in?" Jamie breaks the families little moment apart, "Or shall I get going?" Rita giggles to her boyfriend's sarcasm.

Kimberley was first to speak, "Please come in." Although, Madison never letting her parents go, she remains in place, stubborn and needy.

She was still a child.

A child desperate for her parents love.

"You gonna just stay glued to us like this?" Kimberley comments, trying but failing to pry her daughter off her.

"Sh." Madison hushes the blonde; she hangs on for a few more seconds before finally releasing the tight embrace.

Kimberley giggles, giving her daughter a kiss to the head and leading everyone into the front room.

"I didn't take much notice the first time.. but, your house is beautiful." Jamie thoughtfully comments, taking off his coat, and helping his girlfriend out of hers.

"You should see the garden," Madison bounces in her spot. "It's beautiful, and there's so many rooms and each one is even more beautiful than the other." She nods, agreeing with her own words.

Cheryl giggles, "Have you had chocolate?"

Madison bites her lower lip, "No." Shifting her green eyes.

Lying.

Cheryl tuts, "Come on then, let's all go on in to the dinning room, we've got everything already setup." Kimberley once again takes the lead.

There's tension in the air and nobody but Jamie and Cheryl could feel it.

They have a seat, Jamie siting beside Rita, Kimberley and Cheryl sat side-by-side and Madison sitting at the head of the table. Smiling, widely, so utterly happy.

"Roast?" The teen pouts, "But it's not Sunday?"

"Such a sin." Kimberley jokingly gasps, reaching over and taking her daughters plate, Madison the first to be put food, piled in her large white plate.

"Please, tuck in." Cheryl encourages, everyone wordlessly putting food.

"This is really good – Mum you made it?" The teen speaks, messily eating her meal.

"You like?"

"Mhm." She mumbles.

Rita giggles, biting her lower lip.

She makes eye contact with Madison, both smiling cutely at each other.

Neither Kimberley nor Cheryl takes much notice of it, although Cheryl was slightly jealous. Remembering once the teens confession how Rita was the only 'Girl friend' she ever had.

She clears her throat, desperate to start conversation.

Kimberley beats her wife to eat, noticing the Geordie fidgeting beside her.

"So what is it you do exactly?" She asks, Jamie.

He smiles, "I'm a producer." Taking another bite of the mouthwatering meal.

"Is that going good for you?"

"So far so good.. I mean, it's paying the bills isn't it?" Jamie gives Rita a wink, earning him a playful shoulder bump. "This one here loves spending my money—"

"I do not. I have my own you know—"

"Yeah she does," Madison cuts in. "She's a celebrity dad, remember?" She gives Rita a wink. "Let me see your bank statement though."

Rita laughs, "Why? So you can rob me?"

"No I've already robbed my parents."

The table erupts with laughter.

"You're just like your Mam." Jamie tuts, "Swear she's got your humor and attitude." Cheryl giggles, blushing.

"What about me looks?" Madison mocks the Geordie's accent, flicking her hair back.

"Nah," Jamie shakes his head. "You were gifted with mine."

Madison frowns, pouting. "That's not true. I just have your nose—"

"Eyes and lips—"

"But not the shape, Mam once said I have an almond shape."

Cheryl smiles widely at her daughter's evident annoyance with her father.

"She's got beautiful eyes," Rita comments, "I think she's got really beautiful features." She adds, sharing a smile with the teen.

"See. This is why I like Rita, she makes me feel good."

Kimberley raises an eyebrow, "Complimenting your eyes? And features? That makes you feel good?" The Mother rolls her eyes.

"Not well, not like, like what you mean, like, she just, she." Madison gulps, shifting her eyes madly.

Jamie chuckles, "Rita and Madison are really close." He casually speaks, cutting into his roast. "I can't separate them."

"That's nice." Kimberley sarcastically speaks, "How's your career going?" She shoots the question at Rita, needing to dig up some dirt.

Cheryl smirks, keeping her eyes focused on her plate.

God I love Kimberley.

"It's going good." Rita sets her cutlery down, giving the blonde her full attention.

"Oh yeah? Any projects coming up?"

Madison frowns at her Mother's interrogation, suddenly feeling the need to standup for Rita.

"Quite a few."

"To be honest I haven't really heard your music before—"

"Mum? What the fcuk?" Madison frowns.

"Is there a need for you to curse?" The blonde shoots back, dishing it right back to her daughter.

"Is there a need to make everyone feel uncomfortable at the bloody table?" The teen's attitude eases back in, defending Rita, unsure why.

"Drop the attitude." Kimberley hisses.

"Okay that's enough," Cheryl sighs. "This is how it is with these two all day everyday." She tuts, explaining to Jamie.

"I just don't see the point in asking a million questions." Madison abruptly stands to her feet, "Like how fcuking annoying is that—"

"Hey!" Kimberley snaps, "Keep up with that fcuking attitude and you'll be having this bloody dinner in your room."

"I'm not hungry anymore." Madison bites back, walking out of the dinning room.

Rita stands up, ready to follow the teen.

"Leave her." Kimberley grits.

"No." Rita walks out, following the upset teens trail, leading her up to Madison's bedroom. She knocks quickly, swiftly entering the young teens bedroom, instantly spotting her sat on the bed, arms folded with a scowl painted to her expression.

"You okay?"

"She's a fcuking cow." She breathes, angry.

"Thank you for standing up for me." Rita bites her lower lip, crawling into bed beside Madison; she gently unlaces Madison's arms from her chest. "You're cute when you get defensive like." They sit facing each other.

This gets a giggle to erupt from Madison's lips.

"Thank you." Rita whispers, tilting her head cutely to the side and looking deep into Madison's sparkling eyes.

"She needed to be put in her spot." The teen shrugs, "I'm sorry if she made you feel uncomfortable."

"No, don't worry about me." Rita whispers, leaning over and placing her lips to Madison's, they share a sweet kiss. Soon growing deeply, Madison's fingers finding their way through the blondes hair, desperate for a closer touch.

The teen was first to hear the heels clinking and making their way to her bedroom, quickly pushing Rita just as the door to her bedroom was swung opened.

Their flustered expression, Rita's disoriented hair, and the licking of their lips doesn't go unnoticed by Kimberley.

She frowns, narrowing her eyes.

"Everything okay?" Her heartbeat was going mad; secretly hoping what she was thinking wasn't true.

She makes her way into the bedroom, noticing their uneven breathing.

"Yeah, yeah." Rita clears her throat, shooting off the bed and standing to her feet. "I better go back downstairs." She mumbles, quickly darting out of the teen's bedroom.

Kimberley questionably looks at her daughter, eyes still narrowed in question.

"What?" Madison tuts.

"What's going on?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean.. Did I interrupt something between the both of youse?"

Madison pulls a face, trying her best to look confused. "Interrupt what?"

Kimberley clears her throat, maybe she was just thinking too much into it.

"Nothing." She breathes, sitting beside her daughter. "I'm sorry, babe." She begins. "I shouldn't have interrogated her like that, I'll apologize to Rita as well.. Please comeback down and eat?"

Madison shrugs, "Fine." She breathes. "Just don't talk to her like that anymore—"

"Why?"

"Because she's nice to me."

Kimberley clears her throat, swallowing her pride. "As you wish."
