The boys lost track of time, but the tension from the stress hanging over the siblings could easily be felt by everyone. During a break, Sebastian walked up to Kristen, with the intent of getting rid of the stress. "Hey Kris?" He leaned on the wall next to her, looking down at her while she threw away water bottles. She slammed the lid to the recycling bin shut, brushing her hands off on her pants as she looked up at Sebastian.
"What's up, Sebster?"

Sebastian felt guilty already. Her face looked so expectant, and despite his animosity towards the woman, he didn't want to crush her. "It's just, we have to pack and such. We're tired, and I don't think I only speak for myself when I say I could sleep for about twenty hours." Sebastian thought that a wide approach would be more effective, but it just made Kristen feel more hurt than if he has complained on his own.

"Pack? Oh, right you're in a band." Her voice went a little sarcastic, and she winced as her own voice registered in her own ears. Kristen knew that Sebastian would think she was picking a fight with him, but that was the last thing she wanted.
Sebastian made a face at her as she turned her back to busy herself. "No need to sound so judgmental." He patronized.

Kristen sighed, forcing her hands down to make a thud kind of noise on the podium in front of her, rolling her head on her neck noticing she was already exasperated. Her patience was very thin currently. "I do not sound judgmental." She forced a smile to counteract her icy body language.
"Oh? Then you must be jealous!" Sebastian cheered, so certain he was right. He was smirking, pointing triumphantly towards the girl, so when she turned around his finger was in her face.

She leaned back a little and avoided his appendage, walking around him. "What? Seb, I think you're actually insane." She laughed, shaking her head as she walked. Sebastian pushes himself off the wall and follows her, a half step behind her in rhythm. He used his height to his advantage and cut in front of her, his abrupt movements getting the attention of the other men in the room.

Sebastian took her chin in his hand, making Kristen lock eyes with him. "Look me in the eye and tell me I'm wrong." Green eyes met blue-green as their breathing matched up, their bodies syncing as they looked at each other. Emerson and Remington walked up, confused at the slightly intimate position the two were standing in. Kristen took a deep breath, and Sebastian smirked as he anticipated the woman's answer.
"You're wrong." Kristen said bluntly, pulling his hand off her face as his face fell. She kept walking, her mission unknown to the siblings following her. Sebastian grabbed her bicep, making her slow a little.

"Okaaaay then look Remington in the eye and tell him I'm wrong." Sebastian turned Kristen and shoved her into Remington. The man in question subconsciously grabbed the woman's forearms to steady her and she looked him in the eye.
"Sebastian's wrong." She said candidly, using Remingtons forearms to set her momentum back up. She walked away, leaving Remington a little shocked at her casual movements. "About?" Remington asked, clearing his throat. Emerson nudged his rib cage, making his older brother look over at him. Emerson shook his head, conveying a message that the older man was being incredibly obvious.

Sebastian scoffed, cocky as ever. "Kristen's totally jealous that we have tour." He explained. Remington nodded his head in understanding, but Emerson looked a little concerned. He opened his mouth a little, holding his index finger up as he formed his sentence.
"Sebastian, I don't think you're using that word right."

The oldest sibling narrowed his eyes at the youngest. Sebastian hated that Emerson called him out like that, and he especially hated that Kristen was smirking. "Then what word should I be using, oh wise one?" Sebastian said, pretending to worship his younger brother by bowing at his waist with his hands parallel to his face with immense sarcasm.
Emerson took a deep breath and put his hands in his pockets as the friends stopped walking and formed a circle. Kristen stood between Emerson and Remington, in front of Sebastian. "Betrayal." The youngest said with indifferent confidence, making Kristen start a little as her breath stopped in her chest. Was she truly that transparent?

Kristen cleared her throat. "That's a strong word." She tried to deflect the actually very accurate deduction.
"Then why are you so affronted, Bethie?" Patty appeared behind her. The brothers flinched, but Kristen was so used to it that she was immune at this point. Patty rested his arms on Kristen's shoulders, his chin on her head as she leaned into his chest. He felt clammy, and he leaned against her back with the same pressure. They were supporting each other.

"Leave me alone." She scoffed, nudging Patty's stomach with her elbow. She felt his sharp inhale and exhale after her action.
Sebastian found an opening and took it. "Don't get so... defensive, Kris, we were just teasing." Kristen's eye twitched, her patience finally running out.
"Well stop! If you want to leave so badly, then fine! Go! God, just leave me alone!" She gestured violently, snapping her fingers and dropping the boys back in their home. They were stunned, to say the least.

"...What was that?" Remington asked with wide eyes. All he got from that was that Kristen talked with her hands a lot.
"I think we pushed her a little far." Emerson said matter of factly, shrugging and walking upstairs. His brothers followed after him erratically, still talking.
Sebastian relied heavily on the banister, pulling himself up more so than actually walking up. "I think she's too sensitive." He said coldly, watching the back of Remingtons head.

There was an audible sigh. "Sebastian, you forget that she's 300 years old. Maybe she's just too strong." Emerson defender insightfully.
"Tell me how that makes sense?" Sebastian demanded, rolling his eyes as the trio reaches the top of the stairs, now just loitering, stalling.
"She walls herself off to keep herself from getting hurt. She's too strong, she's become a fortress." Emerson wasn't even looking at his brothers as he talked, he was looking somewhere off in space.
Sebastian looked thoroughly done at this point. He couldn't understand why his brothers were so enamored with this girl. "Eloquently put Emerson."
"Oh fuck off."

"Can I not say anything nice?!" Sebastian exclaimed as the trio disbanded to their respective rooms.
"Not like that you can't." Remington responded.
"Whatever... just be ready to go tomorrow morning, kickoff show that night!"
"Yes mom." The younger siblings chorused. Sebastian barked out a laugh, and pulled out his last suitcase to fill.
