Ok this requires a quick storytime. So i ordered a shit ton of worm on the strings and i found a few pipe cleaners and gave one of them legs and named him Sin and he encourages people to live their best life and have fun and we love him

Next up we got a little joke DC au thing some friends came up with in a discord server and they were like HEY CRYSTEL YOU WANNA BE ROBIN?? And i was like YEAH SURE so now this exists lmao

So. Im gonna preface this by saying i dont know SHIT about the Parappa the Rapper games

But well. He's a character in this giant ridiculous multifandom crossover fanfic im reading, and i was like "huh. Parappa is cute, i like him, i should look him up" and I SAW LIKE. ONE FANART AND I WAS LIKE "OH FUCK, HES AN ABSOLUTE BABY" and long story short hes my son now

We love spur-of-the-moment hyperfixations in this household

I designed a bug type eeveelution! And lemme tell ya it was kinda hard lmao. Its hard to make it look "bug" enough without straying away from eeveelution territory, but i think i pulled it off!

Name suggestions are appreciated! They're just based on some kinda beetle and also some spider vibes, no bug species in particular

And i might as well finish this off with a classic Design Ramble (tm)!

So. A few elements were borrowed from an older, much less good bug type eeveelution design i made WAY long time ago that was based on a mantis. I still like that design tbh, but looking back im like. Yeah it doesnt look like a pokemon lmao

I knew i wanted a darker color palette, so they ended up kinda black/brownish fur with the shell parts being a darker blue-green with yellow accents. I like this color scheme. I also wanted the eyes to be a light color as a point of contrast (and also so umbreon isnt the only eeveelution with eyes that look like that lmao)

I wanted the ears to be segmented and floppy to look like antennae, with little points at the end that kinda makes their ears look like the way a spider's creepy fang mandibles look. I split the beetle shell on the back (it used to be just one piece but it looked like a leaf or smth) and used the yellow spots to look like some kinda marking. On the tail the spots kinda imply a spider marking. So do the spots on the face, i wanted them to kinda look like extra eyes. And just some little spiky bits on the legs because, welp, bugs have those lmao

So anyways, thats that! I apologize for not posting in FOREVER, I'll try not to take that long again for the next update. Hopefully this super big 2-part update can make up for it though.
