So ive been playing the crap out of the last guardian lately after my bro and parents got it for me after my birthday and its awesome and its everything ive been hoping for and ive wanted it for so long and now i have it and ive beaten it like twice-

And im inspired to make some art of it.

This is mostly just a concept sketch, something for me to block in the basics and composition, what goes where and how lighting is gonna work, stuff like that. Of course this will probably change and i most likely wont use it to sketch out the final result since there are a lot of things that look weird or offf somehow but this is mostly just to get an idea of what im doing before i jump right in.

Like this is pretty messy, trico's face looks weird since i didnt use a reference and a lot its anatomy looks kinda funky and not everything is perfectly scaled, but its not supposed to be yet. This is just to figure out the angle, lighting, and basic idea of what im going for.

And also i just doodled trico really lazily because trico is hecking precious ok
