I dont normally do mermay or other art things like that, but i remember a while back i designed crystel as a shark-mermaid thingy thing, and i decided to do a redraw/redesign of it. I like it a lot tbh

I made her fish part a shark (specifically a black-tipped reef shark) because i thought it would be fitting because her other half that would be human on a normal mermaid is instead a wolf, so i wanted to make her fish half another predatory animal, and well, i need more shark mermaids in my life

Besides the whole shark thing the actual crystel part has a slight redesign in this mermaid form as well (that does not affect her regular design, its just this version of her) she has a slimmer body type, longer and more voluminous hair, and she doesnt have anything at the chest area (cuz shes a fish--) so shes essentially flat chested and doesnt need to wear a shirt since she has nothing to cover

I was considering making it Asher but i realized i never actually designed his merman form so its now just some ambiguous other mer-furry.

Also, LOTS of things make no sense-

1. Why does she have fur?
2. Where are her gills??
3. Why is the transition from wolf to shark so sudden???
