Emily's pov

Soon after school I found myself again walking into the man cave. As I do everday. But this time it was actually....quiet?

"Hello Uncle Ray?" I asked wondering why it was so quiet.

I continued to walk until I noticed a note on one of the tables. With shaking hands I picked it up only to find.....

"They left without me huh" I said to no one it particular. I went to shuve the note in my pocket when I heard something hit the floor. Taking my eyes off the note and looking down to see.........my mothers necklace on the floor.

'This is starting to feel like to much supense for me' I thought as I bent down and picked up the fragle peice of metal. Clasping it between my pale hands. It was a simple gold chain with a heart locket on it. I'd never met my mother well as far as I can remember so this locket is the only memory I have of her. Sighing I put it around my neck right where it belongs......

'I almost loose mom.....I'm loosing my job.....and now.....I think I'm loosing my mind to....' I thought as I sniffled. I failed though to notice two pairs of feet aproching me.

"Don't cry Emily....you p-promised you wouldn't....don't you dare...."

But I couldn't stop myself....

"Emily....don't cry...." came a voice

As I turned aroind I saw some one I really was not expecting....
