Chapter 3: Obsession
Kant's POV:
Bison was the name of that boy. He...was different from others I've met or slept with. There was a certain charm to him that couldn't be resisted. His confidence, his smile, the way he knew exactly what to do to get everyone he wanted in control, everything fitted his personality, sometimes a bit too much.
I had only slept with him once. I didn't know who he was, yet, I wanted more. I wanted to be attached to the man with a thread. Even though it was usually others who chased after me, there was something about him that made me want to pursue him. The last time I had pursued someone was in my high school years. It had been a long time. When I began working at the tattoo shop, I had hookups and relationships without any break but they didn't mean anything to me at all. I didn't even think I'd want to get serious with someone, yet there I was, following after the man when I saw him near the tattoo shop towards a burger shop nearby.
I stood outside the door, watching Bison talk to someone at the counter. "Do you need my help?" Bison asked the taller, more muscular guy.
"You should go watch the tables. And don't talk to anyone," the guy replied, a harsh tone evident in his voice.
"Um. I know na," Bison said before walking towards the inside of the shop, seated on a table in the middle.
I didn't understand why that guy had told Bison to not talk to anybody but I didn't even know Bison at all so it wasn't surprising. I slowly perked through the door, watching if there was anything different or many customers there. If not, I could barge in to maybe talk to Bison. But the second I turned back around, the taller guys body was right across my face. He stood there, staring at me as I took a few steps backwards.
"Do you need anything?" The guy asked.
"Um...no. I was actually here to talk to Bison," I replied hesitantly.
The guy furrowed his brows and looked around before raising his brows at Bison. "Bi? This is your friend?" He asked as I walked to the front of the burger shop.
Bison was stunned the second he saw my face, a slight smirk appeared on his face as he murmured, "Yeah, friend..."
The guy turned to look back at me. "You can go talk to him," he murmured.
He again turned to Bison and kept speaking, "Don't take too long."
I slowly bowed my head towards the guy before walking my way to Bison. Shit! I didn't think I'd get caught so easily! This guy ruined my whole personality!
"What are you doing here?" Bison asked as I awkwardly sat by him.
I didn't reply. I didn't know the answer either.
Bison leaned closer to my ear and whispered, "Couldn't get enough of me?"
I leaned closer to him as well. He was flirting with me. That's a great chance. I wasn't about to let it go. "You were the one craving for round two, weren't you?" I asked.
Bison stepped back, a smirk still lingering on his face as he leaned back on the chair. "Phi, can you get me a coffee?" Bison yelled to that guy. The guy gave him a kind of death glare before leaning towards the coffee machine.
"Who's that? He's so intimidating," I asked as Bison leaned towards me again.
"He's Fadel, my brother," he replied.
Fadel? The name sounded familiar... who is that man? I know his name for sure!
"The guy Style's after," Bison suddenly continued.
Everything suddenly came to realization. That's...Fadel? Style's going after that man? Couldn't he find anyone better than that cold ass man?
My face wrinkled as I looked at Bison in disbelief. How did he know Style? Oh, wait.
"He comes here everyday to hit on Fadel," Bison replied again. Is that man a fucking mind reader? How did he know what I'm thinking of?
"I'm not a mind reader. You're just easily guessable," Bison murmured again and burst out laughing as I sighed.
"You're going too overboard," I replied and he burst out laughing again. I couldn't help myself from laughing as well.
"Style's after him?" I asked after a few seconds of silence, trying to hold back a laugh.
"I don't know what he sees in him either but trust me, Fadel's a good person," Bison replied, almost chuckling.
"I don't doubt that," I agreed. Style's never pursued someone he didn't truly like. He had gotten his heart broken and he had to take a long break to get over those. And even though Fadel was cold, there was no doubt that he was actually a good person, otherwise, Style wouldn't have fallen for someone like him. I knew Style well.
Fadel walked towards Bison's table, handing us the coffee as if Bison was also a customer. An intense stare still evident on his eyes as he looked at Bison, as if threatening him that he'd get in trouble for treating Fadel like that. Taking a sip of the hot coffee, Bison suddenly chuckled, almost choking on the coffee.
"I still can't believe you followed me all the way here," he murmured.
"Not that away. My shop's just across the street."
"You still followed me here though," Bison said and I couldn't argue with him anymore. He was right, I did.
"Are you that desperate for round two?" Bison asked, leaning closer to my face.
"I just want to get to know you. You're...different," I answered. I could see a sudden panic on his face as he leaned back.
"Don't tell me you already want something more..." He murmured.
"I...can't?" My brows raised on their own. I didn't think that'd be a problem at all.
Bison suddenly got up, his hand tightly gripping my arm and dragging me with him. He walked towards the counter, before turning towards the door. "Fadel, I'll go to my room, okay?" He asked.
"Wait! Who'll help with the shop?" Fadel sat up, looking at Bison who still looked like in a hurry.
"Style will be there soon," Bison yelled almost and didn't even wait for the answer before dragging me out of the shop.
"Where are we going?" I asked, taken aback by his sudden urgency.
"Shut up," he murmured in a low voice dragging me towards a house in one corner.
Before we were even inside the house, Bison tiptoed to crash his lips onto mine. Taken aback by the sudden dominance, I stood still for a while before dragging my hand up his body to grip his small neck and deepen the kiss.
In seconds as we grazed apart finally to catch our breath, I felt my heart race as if about to burst. I wasn't taking this good. Bison looked at me, his gaze filled with lust and desire. "I- can't get enough of you," he slowly murmured.
I nodded my head before crashing my lips against him again for a short kiss. "Me neither," I replied.
