Ike's P.O.V

"Ike, you are going out with a girl, but first you need these things: A nice suit, deodorant, breath mints, a car, and cologne." My roommates told me as I walked through the door. I just simply replied "Guys Guys, It's alright, we're just going to the ice rink that's downtown, I already got the breath mints and deodorant covered." My Roommates just looked at me crazy, I pat their shoulders and said "It's Saturday I can do this...." then it hit me...I had to meet Sheik's father ".....Ah Shit!" Link went to the bathroom and yelled "Language!" "Sorry Link!".Marth just laughed in his bed, I opened the door and said "Mars, I don't recall you asking out Zelda." He then pulled out a flip flop and threw it at me..I easily dodged it.. "Keep on and my belt is going across your ass.." He threatened.
"Oh yes harder Daddy~!" I yelled. Then Fox and Falco came in the door.."Ike has a date?!" I raised an eyebrow and said "No....I'm  dating Marth...yes I have a date!" The guys then gave me a hug "No homo!" We all yelled, we then started laughing.

Sheik's P.O.V

"Wait you have a date?!" Zelda yelled, I held my ears and remarked "It's not that big of a deal.." Zelda replied shocked "Uh Yes it is!" I just rolled my eyes with sarcasm, Katt and Krystal yelled "You have to get ready!" They then pulled me into the bathroom to get changed."You need eyeliner, lip gloss, and a pretty dress!" Peach said excitedly. I sighed and threw a deku nut down, then disappeared.

Ike's P.O.V

"Guys we'd agreed that we'll just go to the skating rink!" I yelled once they tried to get me into a tux. "Well we aren't going to take any chances" Marth yelled, I then went into my own room and locked the door. I sighed in relief knowing that the swines would try to get me into that...I then ruffled into my suitcase to pull out a buttoned up blue shirt, my dog tag that said "Raident Hero of Legend" ripped light blue jeans, and my timberland tan shoes. I then walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth, flossed, and put on deodorant, grabbed my scarf and beanie, and as soon as I walked out of the bathroom the guys were like "I see you Ike!" "You looking fresh today!" "Use protection!" I ignored those comments and grabbed my phone, watch, and my guitar case, tonight's going to be a perfect night for the both of us...so here's the plan....Step one, I tell her that she looks amazing, Step 2. We both go the ice rink. Step 3. We go to dinner, and the final Step, is the first kiss....

Sheik's P.O.V

I ended up wearing a pair of black jeans, a white flannel long sleeve, some boots, a white beanie, a white scarf, and a big white coat. Hey if you judge me for the clothes I wear I'll hurt you, as I went out of my room I saw Ike waiting for me, "Hey Sheik, ready to go?" He said smiling, damn.....his smile is amazing, it's like looking into a sexy man. I giggled and said "Yes, let's go." As we walked out of the school everybody was cheering and clapping, I didn't like it because I have social anxiety, and Ike knows that, when they started doing that he covered my ears and kept walking. We both decided to just walk to the rink, thankfully it was outdoors my own favorite! After Ike payed for our shoes we both sat down, and I was just nervously breathing.

Ike's P.O.V

I looked over to see Sheik breathing nervously, "Hey....what's wrong?" She looked at me and said "It's just I've never went Ice Skating before" I smiled and said "Don't worry I can help you..." She blushed at my remark and just smiled at me. "I know you can help me Ike." I blushed and nervously scratched the back of my neck, as I helped her up to the rink she held my hand and intertwined our fingers. I looked down at her, "You don't mind right?" She asked. "N-No not at all..." I responded. She smiled as we glided around the rink. I jokingly said "Honey....where's my super suit?" Sheik laughed. "Where. is my super suit?" She laughed even harder, "Ike, you're a total goof ball." she said.

I blushed at that comment, "And also, thank you...." I looked down at her "For what?" I asked confused. Sheik then cupped my cheeks "One. For covering my ears, and Two for taking me on this date." I got really nervous and said "W-Well I've been meaning to ask you that question for a long time..." Sheik then got close to my face and said "Really?" I then felt my heart beat as if there were a thousand fireworks. "Yes..." I then looked deeply into her eyes, she then did the same "Is this about to happen? The moment when we kiss?"
I then took then moment to put a hand on her cheek, she blushed then wrapped her arms around my neck "How about we kiss for real?" I nodded. "I will forever remember this  Sheik." She giggled. I leaned in closely and felt her lips on mine, the kiss was passionate, something I've never felt before, not even with Samus..as we both pulled away we put our foreheads against each other, and we both blushed "I love you Sheik....." I said while holding her in my arms. She smiled and replied "I love you too Ike..."  We then got out of the rink and kept our fingers intertwined. We then stoped at a hill, it wasn't any hill, but the hill I remember when I was younger. We both leaned on the tree, I then felt a little black box in my pocket "Now's the time to do it Ike, it's now or never.."
Sheik noticed this and put a hand on my shoulder "Ike.....are you alright?" I then turned to her, got on one knee, and she held her hands close to her face and was a crying mess, "Sheik, for the past years we've both been friends, we've protected one another, cared for one another, I was there for you with your break up, and you were there for mine, and so I ask you this....Sheik Hylia, will you be my girlfriend?" I then took the black box from my jacket pocket and showed her the necklace it was a ruby that had a silver shaped heart,

She had tears from her eyes and shouted with excitement "Yes!!! Ike!!! More than anything!" She then lunged at me pulling me into a hug, she let go and I then pulled her into a kiss..we then slowly pulled away. "Are you hungry?" I asked her..She nodded, "But first, I pulled both the basket and my guitar from behind the tree. I then stemmed a few strings, took a deep breath and started to sing.

After I finished Sheik looked at me smiling, I smiled back "You like it?" She then nodded. "I loved it Ike..." She then scooted closer to me, "So....what have you prepared for dinner?" "I made some sandwiches, yours extra mayo, chips mine barbecue, yours regular, some water, and two cupcakes, your frosting purple, and mine blue." I then handed her sandwich, a water bottle, her chips, and her cupcakes carefully. "Here you go..." While we were eating I asked a question, "Sheik.....is your father still alive?" She then slowly put her head down. "H-He died of cancer after you moved..." She had tears in her eyes, I then wiped them with my thumb, "I-I'm sorry to hear about that Sheik, I'm pretty sure he'd be proud of you." Sheik then looked up at me and smiled, "Yeah, he would be...because I'm with you." I then smiled and finished eating, Sheik did too, I got up and asked her "Do you want to dance?" She smiled and grabbed my hand and rested her head on my chest, she then sighed happily. We swayed backwards and forwards as the bright white moon shined on us, this was a night we never forget, a night to remember forever.

As we approached the School hand-in-hand we couldn't see anything, until I pulled out my phone and put it on flashlight mode, as I dropped her off at her the front of her dorm she then creased my cheek and pulled me in for a kiss, as we pulled away I said "Thank you for coming with me on this date." She smiled and said "Thank you for asking me." As we kissed one last time we both went to our dorms, tomorrow would bring the unexpected, something amazing..
