A Deadly Twist

3:24AM
Tally sat alone in light, whispering incomprehensible nothings to herself. She rocked her head one way, and then to the other, feeling the sandy brick against her scalp. Tally looked to the ceiling, watching through the events that happened just prior, tenderly running her fingers over the rag that she had tied to her neck, in an semi successful attempt to stop the steady stream of blood that ran from the wound.

Suddenly, Tally noticed a jolt of movement from the screens that sat across the room from her. Feeling sluggish and light headed, she slumped her way over to the screens, and watched at them. She saw the distress in the room, how they were slumping over the bodies of the girls. Tally felt a nauseating guilt inside of her, knowing that this is what she had done. She looked away, not wanting to witness the sorrow and mourning of the girls.

However, out of the corner of her eye, she saw again a burst of life. She flicked her eyes towards the screen, to see one of the dead... alive. How was it possible that Izzy had survived? Izzy sat up coughing and spitting, being very much so... alive. Tally was perplexed, she wondered if it was the lack of blood to her brain, she wondered if it was a Hallucination, there was no way that these girls were alive, not after she almost died at the hands of Alex for them. Saskia sprung to life, holding onto Sophie while she coughed and cleared her throat. Tally knew she wasn't Hallucinating, this was not something in her mind, this wasn't her imagination, these girls were alive, and they were well. Abigail still remained lifeless, the only one of the girls who stayed the way she thought they were.

Tally felt something stirring up inside her, something big, something that would manifest itself in her and take over her body, but before it could bubble up anymore the screen shut off, letting Tally see nothing but her own shaking reflection in the glass. The screen blurred on again, however this time instead of seeing the girls in that room, she saw a seperate group of girls. She saw large metal machines and gadgets of all kinds, she saw the astra foyer and poorly kept floors, and 5 girls being dragged to the machines. The last girl was being tied up and strapped down to the contraption, by none other than The mysterious Panama wearing person. Tally was numb still, but felt the horrific feeling trickle it's way through to her, Tally felt a rage for this person, knowing that they had put her here, knowing that they had risked her life. Tally saw an opportunity for her own wrathful revenge, and jumped out of the room, moving as fast as she could without falling over, still adjusting to her sudden activity.

She busted open the doors that lead to the canteen from the entrance stairs, only to be welcomed by a half darkness. She heard murmurs and groans, which turned to screams and yells, from across the room, so she scratched herself closer, taking great consideration with each step. She squinted her eyes through the area, to see the only light source, other than the moons eye, which was a glowing red button, the size no bigger than the nail of your thumb. She heard rummaging outside, but lacked the vision good enough to see. She hesitated, unsure of what this ominous button would do, unsure of what would happen, but then again, did she care? She took her crimson streaked hand and pushed down on the button, immediately taking it back up, leaving a stain of blood, like a mark, where she had touched.

The lights beamed to life, Tally shut her eyes and tilted her head away from the jarring brightness, noticing the girls in front of her, being amazed at the desperation and confusion on their soft faces, their screams ripping open their throats and piercing their ears. Tally also noticed the girls outside, who were making an unnecessary amount of noise, for all Tally wanted was silence, she just wanted a moment to process what was happening. A screen in front of her came to life, with that all too familiar hat and voice.

"Hello Tally, I'd like to play a game... A Queenwood game. In front of you are 5 girls, all of which you know well. The metal creations they are strapped to can only be opened by a sacrifice of blood, extracted by a merciful game player, that player being You. You must collect at least 3 pints of blood from each person in order to free them, how you gain this blood is up to you. Be as brutal as you wish, for all of these girls have done wrong, and deserve their suffering, it is for you to decide if they deserve your salvation. Chose wisely, Live or Die."

Tally stepped back from the screen, looking to the girls in front of her, all of them a blubbering mess, their faces were red and their cheeks wet with tears. Tally looked to the weapons on the table, and after a careful and calculated decision, Tally rose a sword to her face, letting the cold metal glide across her skin. The girls in front of her begged for mercy, screamed for help, pulled at their constraints and cages, so Tally walked over to the girl last in line, furthest to the Astra wall, Steffi. She put the sword up against Steffi's stomach, precisely imaging the slice she would make, deep enough to draw a steady flow of blood, but shallow enough to ensure that she would survive the blow. Steffi screamed and cried, her stomach inflating and deflating with crazed movements.

"Stop moving!" Tally demanded, poking the swords tip to Steffi's dress. "Stay still, or I'll accidentally hurt you more than I️ need to" Tally spoke softly to the girl, and she obliged, holding her breath. Tally cut open Steffi's dress to reveal her stomach, Tally met the swords edge with Steffi's skin, and took a deep breath. Slowly, she pushed into the girl, and tore her way down through her skin. Steffi wailed in pain, flailing her head from side to side, kicking her legs around in their locks. Tally went further down, and it almost pained her to realise that she was getting a sick sense of enjoyment out of it.

Almost.

Tally pulled the sword away, and watched as the blood pooled out from the girls body, dripping into a large hand made funnel that sat below her, which streamed into a beaker, with measurements marking the sides. The drops of blood pushed the beakers contents up to 3 pints, and soon after the locks that tied Steffi to the machine twisted open, dropping her onto the cold ground. She pulled herself away from the machines, clutching her stomach and rolling around on the floor, experiencing a pain that the basic mind couldn't even begin to imagine. Tally looked on at her, shrugging her off and moving on again, to the next poor girl in line, Olivia Shew.

She cleaned off her blade with her dress, staining it with the crimson liquid, and hesitated not before she cut into Olivia, gaining again the 3 pints. Once more Tally moved on, to Jemima, taking the blood from her body and letting her lose. Then onto Olivia Loukas, Joanna was making a scene outside when Tally met the weapon with Olivia's body, she found it amusing, making sure that Olivia's cut was the slowest of them all. Finally, Lily hung alone, being placed right next to the window wall, in perfect view of the other outsiders. The recently sliced bodies on the ground, gasping for breath, clenching their flesh together in foolish efforts to numb the pain, squirming in the blood that soaked the grounds.

"Lily, Lily Lily Lily Lily Lily..." Tally said shaking her head, playing with the weapon in her hands. "What are we going to do with you?"

"Please, Tally, I️-I'm sorry. I️ was angry, and I️ had no reason to be, you didn't deserve that. I️ mean, the girls are alive, so, there's no point in you...  in you..." Lily stuttered and squeaked, her voice raspy from the crying and yelling and screaming.

"You're right..." Tally said, smiling, making Lily uneasy, unsure of what Tally was going to do. Lily felt deathly afraid and vulnerable, and tried with everything that made her up to predict Tally's movements, but Tally had become too crazy, too singular, to predict. Tally waltzed over to the table placing down the sword with a clink against the metal table. "I️ mean, there would be no point at all, if I️ were to treat you the way you treated me." Tally gave Lily a side eye, feeling the adrenaline race inside of her. Tally picked up a glistening meat hook, holding it at arms length from her face, looking from Lily to the hook and back to Lily again, as though she was assessing if the tool would match with the victim. "And you say you were angry, but so am I️. And you say I️ didn't deserve that, and you're so right! The only thing I'd have to disagree with..." Tally took slow, menacing steps towards lily, swaying the hook by her side, flinging it around like it was nothing. "Is that, there is, very much so, a point."

Tally ran the hook along Lilys dress, catching it on one of the buttons. She smirked devilishly at Lily, who was struggling as much as she could in her restraints. Tally ripped the hook through the dress, revealing a perfect canvas for her hatred to be shown. Tally's ran a finger over Lilys skin, tracing where she would hack into her body, starting first from the neck, making a beautifully precise line down through her ribs, and then finally reaching an end at belly button.

"TALLY STOP! YOU CRAZY BITCH! HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME! GET HER AWAY! HELP!" Lily shrieked, furiously trying to break free from her locks, crying and pleading and screaming. Tally placed one hand on the end of the hook, the other stay rested on Lilys skin, keeping her still. Tally pulled her other arm back behind her head, with a wrathful blaze raging in her eyes and soul, and with one swift movement, she violently swung her arm forward, stabbing the flesh of her art work, and ripped it through her skin, tearing it in two. Lily let out one last breath, a final plea for life, she watched in Tally's eyes as the last of her drained, she saw how much a few hours had changed her, how these little actions shaped her, she saw a completely different person, like when the moon emerges to replace the sun. Lilys eyes flickered closed, seeing her peers for one last time, feeling life for one last time, feeling for one last time. The blood of the girl dripped over the rim of the beaker, amounting to just over 5pints, with Lily only being sliced seconds ago. Tally stepped back, looking at what she had done, wiping her brow and replacing the sweat with a bloody smear. Lilys death trap creaked open, dropping her dead body to the ground. The screen turned on once more behind Tally, so she walked over, waiting for the words of the ring leader to echo throughout her mind.

"Tally, if you are hearing this you have failed your task. That note that resided in you starting room meant more to you than you may have thought" Tally pulled the note out of her pocket, reading it again, 'do what you must, but only what you must'. "This test was to see if you could forgive those who were wrong to you, if you could find it in yourself to let go. Because you lack the Ability to do so, you will now suffer a fate similar to that of your peer. Goodbye, Tally."

Tally felt a buzz in her neck, she felt it with her hand, being terrified, it beeped with movement, tally clawed at it with wide eyes, blood dripping down her back. The buzzing fastened, each movement occurring closer and closer together, Tally breathed faster, spinning in circles and scratching at the buzz that shook her body. Suddenly it stopped, deadly quietness filled herself. Then, the buzzing made sense, the small buzzer was nothing more than an explosive planted in her neck.

Boom.
