Chapter 24

"Alright, I'll help you. I'll try to get some of my guards to take a boat with you there so you can go get your friends, but I can't involve myself further Emma." She sighed.

"That's more than enough Ariana, thank you!" I squealed giving her the tightest hug possible.

"It's my pleasure Emma; I just hope you two find your friend." She smiled, patting my back.

I pulled away and looked at Melody excitedly, "we need to pack and go as soon as possible."

She nodded and picked up her phone and exiting her room. I assumed she was going to call her parents with an excuse and turned back to face Ariana. "When do you think that you can get this all arranged?"

"Probably by tonight."

I felt another squeal coming on, but held it back and ushered for Ariana to follow me. I wasn't trying to be rude, but I really needed to get everything planned out for Cathy; I wanted everything to go smoothly, so she could get back safe. "Thank you so much for coming and listening Ariana, I will wait for your call tonight," I smiled.

"No problem, thanks for telling me. Austin is going to get an ear full from me after we get all of this settled."

I laughed and gave her a nod, before opening the door and showing her out. As soon as she walked down the pathway I shut the door and let out the loudest squeal, before running to find Melody. I was so excited and I needed to celebrate this good luck with my friend.

"Yes, I know, but she's really serious about this..."

I came to a halt and peeked into my room to see Melody leaning over my bed seeming to be getting some clothes, as she held the phone on the crook of her neck.

"Mom everything will be fine, we are just going on this trip for one day."

I let out a breath and entered my room. For a second I thought that she was talking to someone else. I don't know how I would feel if Melody was working against me. There were very few people that I still had with me and it would be nice if my best friend stayed one of these few. If she was working against me it would really make me wonder who else would want to do something so horrible to me.

"I know mom, but it's a boat we will be completely safe."

I went over to her side and helped her as she shoved clothes into a bag. We don't know exactly what would be needed to help Cathy, but I'm sure she'd appreciate some fresh clothes; who knows what they've done to her. A shiver of disgust ran down my spine at the thought.

"Yes mom I'll call you when we get service, now I really need to go."

I laughed and went over to my work table and picked up a map of the island that Cathy was being held on and folded it before grabbing the flash drive Cathy had managed sneak to me along with my laptop. I carefully put them in my bag and zipped it shut before sitting on my bed and letting Mel and her mom finish their conversation.

"Alright, I love you too mom, bye." She sighed and shut her phone, before taking a seat beside me.

"We're all set as far as I know." I said, pointing to my packed bag.

"Perfect, now we're just going to have to wait for Ariana's call." She nodded.

"So... Pizza and a movie?" I questioned, trying to lighten the mood.

"Haha always," she laughed.

I jumped up from my bed and grabbed her phone before running out to the living room. "You choose the movie!" I called, as I laid down on the couch and called the nearest pizza place.

Sorry that this wasn't a very good chap guys

I am seriously thinking of deleting this story, but it was one of my firsts and I'm going to try hard not to and just edit it to be a bit better

Anyway I have to go and do lots of writing

I hope you guys are excited for the other stories!

I will be ending this book in the next few chapters as well, so for those of you who love this story I hope you are as ready to say goodbye to this story as possible.
