Chapter 23

Emma P.O.V

"Ok, so she just told you where she was?" Melody asked again, as I sat on the couch searching up all the information I could find about Rose Cress Island.

"Yes, now come on I found a boat that goes to the island right next to it. We can rent a boat and easily get there by tomorrow." I sighed, opening the cruise line website.

"And then what? We can't just show up try to fight our way through. They're trained bodyguards!" Melody exclaimed.

"Ok... Maybe we could... Maybe..." I trailed off, trying to figure out a good idea, before continuing.

"I mean, if we only knew another artist besides Austin and Justin, we could bring them on the plan and help us, since they're bound to have guards of their own..." Melody mumbled.

"WAIT!" I exclaimed, jumping up from my seat, dropping my laptop in the process.

"Oops..." I mumbled, before looking to Melody, "Anyway, we do know another artist!"

Melody stared at my laptop on the ground in shock, "yeah, remind me not to let you use my laptop."

"Melody! Focus! The laptop doesn't matter right now. We have an artist who can help us." I grinned.

"Who?"

"A little friend we crashed into that got us into this mess," I smiled.

"ARIANA!" She exclaimed.

"Exactly," I smirked, picking up my phone and clicking on her contact.

It rang a few times, before a voice finally responded.

"Hello?"

"Ariana, it's Emma, Austin's girlfriend. Is it possible of you to stop by in say half an hour?" I asked.

"Hmm, I'd have to adjust my schedule, but I think I can do that." She laughed.

"Perfect, please don't tell Austin about this. I'll send you the address when we hang up." I sighed.

"Um, alright, I guess I won't..." She trailed off questioningly.

"Thank you so much!" I exclaimed, before hanging up.

The doorbell rang as I was pacing in my living room. Melody had been watching me worriedly for the past half hour and I think she was getting annoyed by my lack of speaking. I couldn't help it though; this was my Cathy and she was in serious trouble.

"I'll get it," Melody sighed, springing up from her seat on the couch and leaving me with my troubles.

"Ariana, I am so glad you could make it Emma and I really need your help," I heard Mel's voice travel into the living room.

I stopped pacing and tried to make myself look a little presentable, but let's face it one look at my face and she'd know something was wrong. I was good at hiding my emotions, but I wasn't that good. And with everything happening I didn't really have the time or will to cover up how worried I was.

"I hope everything's okay with Emma and Austin' she seemed really worried when she phoned me." Ariana's voice followed.

I heard no reply, as they both stepped into the room. Melody took a seat on the couch and I let out a breath directing Ariana to the loveseat. After she was settled I took a seat next to Melody, opposite of her. No one spoke for a moment, as I tried to collect my thoughts. I didn't want to dive right into the story and make her think I was a loon or something.

"Ok, so... I need your help to get to Rose Cress Island." I said, not explaining why yet.

"Why didn't you just ask Austin, I'm sure he would take you..." She laughed.

"No, he wouldn't. I need you to take me, please. I need to save Cathy," I stressed.

"Save?" She questioned.

"Yes, save. Justin put her on that Island and I can't get her off alone; I need some bodyguards and I need your influence. If Melody and I go alone, then we're doomed." I explained.

"And why couldn't you ask Austin?" She asked.

"Because, they're working together! If I tell Austin, then he's going to report back to Justin and he's bound to put her somewhere else." I mumbled, tears welling in my eyes.

Ariana looked at Melody and I skeptically, before replying. "I'll think about."

I'm ending it in the next few chapters

I can't think of anything for it so it's coming to an end
