I was getting ready for Cathy's arrival when there was a knock at the door. I stopped fixing the air mattress and went to open it. It was drizzling I noticed walking past the window.

I opened the door and gasped.

"Cathy oh god come in" I rushed pulling her inside.

She was completely soaked, shivering like crazy.

"What were you thinking It was pouring like crazy earlier" I scolded.

"I'm sorry" she shivered.

I wrapped my arms around her trying to warm her up.

"Why didn't you drive or something" I whispered shaking my head.

"I couldn't he-he wouldn't let me leave I had to get out of there" she cried.

"Was it Justin?" I hissed.

"No it was his friends" she mumbled.

"What did they do" I clenched my teeth tightly in anger pulling away from her.

"Justin le-left me a-alone with him s-saying he-he needed to buy something and-and his friends started to-to touch me.." she broke off as sobs racked her body.

I pulled her over to the couch and she curled into me shaking.

"Shh... It will be okay" I cooed.

"It won't" she trembled.

"It will Cathy I promise" I held her tighter feeling she'd break at any moment.

"B-but they'll find me" she stuttered.

I couldn't say anything knowing it was true.

"See.." she cracked rocking back and forth in my arms.

"I won't let them hurt you Cathy" I mumbled reassuringly.

"Why?" she looked at me eyes wide with curiosity.

"I don't know" I replied truthfully.

I just felt that I couldn't let her get hurt. It was just an instinct to protect her. We sat there a while, Cathy clutched my shirt as she crying. I pat her back soothing her the best I could.

"Thanks" she sniffled after her breakdown.

"You don't need to thank me you're my friend I was just helping" I smiled.

She frowned slightly when I called her a friend but covered it quickly.

"Lets start the sleep over" she fake smiled.

I nodded giving her a sympathetic smile.

"Lets start with makeovers"  Cathy grinned pulling me onto the couch.

"Funny ones or model style like we use to?" I asked.

"Model" she chuckled.

"Awesome me first" I grinned.

She nodded and I went to my room getting make-up, a dress and my I-pod with it's stereo.

"Alright now I'm going to work my magic" I smiled plopping down in front of her.

Cathy closed her eyes and I applied some eyeliner, blue eye shadow and some mascara. I checked my work before putting on a very light amount of lip gloss on her lips. I then took out blush applying it lightly on her cheeks.

"Ok open" I sighed.

When she did I grinned.

"Put the dress on and don't you dare sneak a peek at my masterpiece just yet" I commanded seriously.

Cathy nodded exiting the room. I sat there and decided that I'd give her a French manicure to go with the dress.

I looked at the edge of the couch looking at my sneakers and remembered. I did get Cathy any heels! Jumping up I went to my room picking up sparkly silver heels. I was about to exit when I remembered something. I turned back slowly facing Cathy.

Her face was a light shade of pink. I then noticed she was in the middle of changing. I blushed and mentally face palmed myself.

"Sorry I forgot to get you shoes...so um here" I put the shoes down backing away.

Cathy nodded and I took that as my cue to leave. I sprinted back to the couch and physically face palmed myself. I didn't even know why I was acting this way. Which freaked me out even more.
