Slow (+ new book sneak peek)
Heyyyy I'm alive. So, I haven't updated this book because I'm working on something else that I'm sure you'll all like uwu it's a Solangelo book, and I'm actually writing out all the chapters so I can make sure there's no plot holes Oof. I'm happy with how it's turning out so far, usually when I write books I rush things and my writing skills fly out the window, but I'm really trying with this one and I'm really proud of it so pls don't hate me thanks <3
That being said, I am going to post the first chapter on the end of this chapter (the first chapter is really short), just to give you guys a little taste because I'm hopefully going to be able to put it up soon and I hope you guys are as excited as I am, if not just tell me you are, thanks

Nico liked to take things slow.
He liked nice, slow walks with his boyfriend. He liked calming, slow music. And he liked reading things slowly, so he could soak in all the details.
He just liked things to go slow, and it's because he likes to have time to think about things, to think through his options.
Which is why he liked taking things slow in relationships. His previous boyfriends obviously didn't like that, they soon got frustrated and angry, and they usually ended pretty badly.
Will was different though, he was patient. They had been dating an entire year, and he seems perfectly fine with only holding his hand and small, short hugs.
Nico was happy that Will was okay with this. He was glad to have finally found someone understanding.
He knew he wanted to kiss Will soon, though, he felt like he was ready.
Though he didn't expect for Will to make the move, one day.
It was after they had went on a date. Will had walked Nico up to his door, and Nico turned to give him a warm smile.
Will smiled back, grabbing Nico's hand, which made Nico's heart flutter. Then, he started leaning in, his eyes closing while Nico's eyes widen. Nico gasped, putting his free hand over his mouth and turning away.
Will pursed his lips, drawing back and putting his free hand on the back of his neck as his face turns red. Nico frowned down at the concrete, awkwardly pulling his hand from Will's and hugging it around his own waist.
"Uh, I'm sorry I thought-"
"No, you're fine I-" Nico swallowed thickly, wiping his palms on his thighs, "It's okay." Will nodded, and there was a stretch of awkward silence for a second, neither sure what to say.
"Uh, g-goodnight, Will," Nico says, not looking at him.
"Yeah," Will said, then, "goodnight." Nico awkwardly nods, then opens the door. With one last glance at Will, he closes the door behind him.
He lets out a breath he didn't know he was holding, and puts his hands over his face. He takes a deep breath, looking up at the ceiling.
He wondered if Will would be mad at him now.
It was stressful though, and he knew he needed to kiss Will soon or he'll lose him, as he did with his other boyfriends. And he didn't want to lose Will, he's been with Will the longest, and he cared more deeply about him than his exes. The longer he was with Will, the more and more he learned about him, and the more he liked him.
He wondered idly if Will felt the same, but pushed that from his mind because that wasn't what he was worried about.
Nico took a deep breath, running a hand through his hair. Will was going to get tired of him, tired of waiting, like everyone else. He was going to break up with Nico because Nico couldn't fucking get over himself and just kiss him.
Nico felt like he was going to cry, and he pushed the palms of his hands over his eyes. Will's probably over the entire waiting thing. Will was patient, but everyone had their limits. If Nico didn't kiss him soon-
Nico shook his head. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and rolled his shoulders. It seemed a little silly to him, but it was a trick Will had told him to do when he felt himself slipping into a panic attack, and he felt like it worked. Maybe it works because it reminds him of Will, his hugs. Either way, it worked. And after taking another steadying breath, he walked upstairs to his room.
———
Nico might have been avoiding Will.
He has, as much as he tells himself not to. It wasn't really like he was trying to push Will away, it just kind of happened. First, it was the day after Will had tried to kiss him. Usually, Will would give him a ride to school, but Nico has found an excuse to not ride with him, and he used a different excuse the entire week after, and, eventually, Will had just stopped asking, leaving Nico to his own devises.
Then, it was at lunch, where he started eating in the library instead of the lunch room with Will. When he asked where he was for lunch, he had said a teacher needed him and he ate in the teachers class. Then, it was sitting next to each in three of his classes. He had either asked the teacher to switch places, and if the teacher said no, he just wouldn't talk to Will.
He felt bad, but he couldn't seem to stop ignoring Will. The only time he really talked to him now, was if they were walking in the halls or a good morning and good night text.
He runs a hand through his hair, sitting and closing the door to his car. Will hadn't tried to talk to him today, he hadn't gotten a text in the morning, and he knew it was his fault. He had looked tired, like he hadn't gotten any sleep, and, again, Nico felt guilty. It was his fault.
He drops his head onto the steering wheel, groaning. What was he doing?
He jumps when someone taps harshly on his window, and he looks up. Kayla is standing there, glaring. Nico takes a deep breath before unlocking the door.
Kayla opens the door, quickly sitting:
"I don't know what happened between you and Will," she says, "but he's a dead man walking so you better fix it."
"I know," Nico says, "I know." Kayla purses her lips, crossing her arms.
"What happened anyway? The last I saw you two, you were basically happily married," she said, and Nico blushed. He glances off to the side, sighing as he watches people get in busses or get in cars.
"I don't know," he lied, "I- I'm just an idiot." Kayla purses her lips.
"Well, you know, Will's waiting in his car for me right now if you want to go talk to him." Nico looks at her, contemplating, before sighing and getting out of his car.
He walked to where Will usually parked, and seeing his car, he simply opened the door and sat, closing the door behind him. Will looked startled, to say the last. When he registered Nico sitting there, though, he shrunk down in his seat, putting his phone in the cup holder.
"I'm really sorry," Nico said quietly. Will frowned and shook his head.
"You shouldn't be sorry, Neeks, I should have asked before I- I tried."
"I shouldn't have ignored you," Nico said, frowning, looking forward, "but I just kind of freaked out. I don't know why I even avoided you," he sighs, runs a hand through his hair.
"It's okay," Will says, hesitantly reaching to grab Nico's hand. Nico smiled, grabbing Will's and intertwining their fingers.
He hesitated for a moment before quickly turning and pressing a kiss to Will's cheek. He pulled away quickly, his own cheeks on fire and his head spinning, but Will was smiling like a mad man. Nico smiled weakly at him.
"I'll talk to you later, okay?" Nico said, and Will nodded, smiled at him. Nico laughed, kissing his cheek one last time before getting out of the car.

Now for the new book sneak peek 😜 I hope you guys like it <3
~~~
It all started when he walked through the doors of the classroom.
He was tall. Definitely taller than Nico as he is, literally, the shortest kid in the grade.
He had striking blue eyes, lush gold locks, warm tan skin, and a million dollar smile with dimples and freckles.
He looked godly.
"I'm Will Solace," he introduced himself when the teacher asked, "I moved from California and I like to play the ukulele."
His voice was a nice deep sound that made Nico want to listen to him talk forever.
The teacher had placed him in an empty seat, sadly up front while Nico was sat in the back.
And thus the lesson begins:
How To Seduce Will Solace, Step By Step, With Nico Di Angelo.
