Sleep

More trans Nico on his period because that's my favorite head cannon and I have no self control.

---
Nico closed the door to his and Will's apartment with a sigh, it had been a long day, and all he wanted was to sleep. But, as he dropped his bag by the door, he saw Percy, Jason, Annabeth, Piper, Frank, and Hazel sitting in his living room, laughing and studying.

"Hey, Nico," Frank greeted, being the first to notice him, and suddenly, five other pairs of eyes were on him, along with over cheery greets. Nico gave a weak smile in response, going into the kitchen and grabbing a bottle of wine from one of the cabinets, along with a wine glass.

"You okay?" Hazel asked, setting an empty bowl on the counter as Nico poured the wine.

"Yeah," he sighed, "just a long day."

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"Not really," he mumbled, setting the bottle down, "Sorry." Hazel shook her head, smiling.

"It's okay. Just know I'm here for you if you need me." Nico smiled softly and nodded, taking a sip.

"How long have you guys been here?" Nico asked, looking at his group of chatting friends.

"Not long. Do you need us to leave?" Nico was quick to shake his head.

Truthfully, he just wanted to change in his pajamas and go to sleep, or maybe he could finally start watching 'the end of the fucking world' on Netflix, either way, he just wanted to be alone, maybe cuddle with Will when he got home.

"Are you sure?" Hazel asked, seemingly reading his mind, "we won't care if you need us to, we understand."

"It's fine, really," he looked at Hazel, smiled, "I should probably be studying too."

He took another gulp of wine, and Hazel hummed.

"Where's Will?"

"He's in a lecture right now," Nico replies, and Hazel smiles.

"Come sit with us, maybe you can get some studying in," she grabbed his hand, dragging him to the living room.

Nico plopped down on the couch next to Percy, Hazel sitting next to him, and he got multiple greets (again). He only contributed to their conversation with one or two comments every now and then, and multiple times he felt his bottom lip quivering at their loudness. Luckily, though, no one seemed to notice, and he was able to hide the fact that their loud volume made his anxiety spike.

"I'm going to use the restroom," he excused himself, and left for the bathroom. And, as he went to flush the toilet, he wasn't very pleased to find that he used the last of his small stash of tanpons.

He quickly washed his hands, and sent Will a text asking if he could go to the store after his class, to which he agreed. He stayed in the bathroom a couple of extra minutes than he needed, mostly because he couldn't handle going back out to his friends.

He loved them, but sometimes, they were a bit too extroverted for him.

Sighing, he walked back out to the living room, sitting down where he was before. Nico zoned out a lot, not really interested in the topic of conversation.

And Nico couldn't help as his eyes slowly fluttered, falling asleep while he hugged his knees to his chest.

---

Will walked into his apartment, hearing loud shouts and laughs from 'the seven' (as they like to call themselves) and Thalia, Reyna, and Calypso. He frowned.

"Where's Nico?" He asked moving the grocery back from one hand to the other as he put his book bag down, walking over to the group of loud younge adults.

"He fell asleep," Percy explained, "So we moved in here. He's on the couch." Will looked over, and saw a mop of black hair peaking from the sofa, and smiled. He quickly went to their shared room, dropped the plastic bag onto the bedside table, than made his way out to Nico.

When Nico opened his eyes again, he saw Will looking at him with a loving gaze, his hands running through Nico's hair. Distantly, he heard the shouting of his friends, and frowned. Why were they still here? He looked out the window just over Will's shoulder, it was already dark.

"Nico?" Will asked, reaching out and wiping under his eye, "why are you crying?"

Nico hasn't realized he was, and he glanced back, seeing Leo, Thalia and Reyna sitting at the breakfast bar with everyone else, and he wasn't really supprised by the loudness anymore. He looked back at Will, his eyes watering more.

"S'loud," he mumbled, his lips in a pout, and Will lips pouted slightly as well, because he didn't like to see Nico upset.

"C'mere," Will held both his hands out, and Nico scooted forward, wrapping his arms around Will's neck, Will's arms going around Nico's waist, and then, Nico wrapped his legs around Will like a koala as he stood up.

Will placed a kiss to Nico's cheek, and Nico buried his head in Will's chest as he started walking back to their bedroom, ignoring the coos they got from their friends about how cute they were.

Will sat on their bed, but Nico didn't let go of him, instead holding on tighter. Will chuckled, flopping down onto his back, rolling over so he was on his side, and looking at Nico's face.

He was still pouting, his eyes glossy, and Will leaned forward, placing a sweet and soft kiss to his lips. Nico sighed, closing his eyes and chasing after Will went he started pulling away.

Will smiled into the second kiss, and he put his hand on Nico's cheek.

"I love you," Will whispered as they pulled back, opening his eyes and seeing chocolate brown ones in return.

"I love you, too." And just then, there was a loud burst of laughter from the kitchen, and Nico sighed, curling himself closer to Will, "when are they going to leave. They've been here all day."

"Do you want me to ask them to go?" Nico pursed his lips.

"Wouldn't that be rude?" Will shrugged, his thumb rubbing small comforting circles on Nico's hip.

"I feel it's more rude to come to someone's place unannounced and stay the whole day than asking someone to leave at eight thirty."

"I guess," Nico relented, "But I don't want you to leave. You're warm and cozy." Will smiled.

"It's only going to take, like, a minute." Nico let out a whine, and Will laughed, kissing his forehead.

Will turned, his hands going to the plastic bag on the table beside him, and when he turned to face Nico again, he was holding a small stuffed animal, his smile wide.

"I got you this," he said, and Nico smiled lovingly at him, reaching out to hold the bear, "I also got you a card," he reached around again, and grabbed it, handing it to him.

"Thanks, Will," Nico said, his smile dopey as Will kissed his cheek.

"I'll be right back, okay?" Nico nodded, snuggling close to the bear as he read the card.

Will wasn't gone long, and he was quickly cuddling next to Nico again. And Nico was thankful for the noise to be slowly exiting their apartment.

"Want to change into your pajamas?" Will asked, pushing a strand of hair behind Nico's ear. He made a sound of displeasure, and quickly took his shirt and jeans off with out getting up and tossing them somewhere to the floor, then looked at Will.

"I'm cold," Nico stated, and Will laughed.

"I'll get you some pajama bottoms and a shirt, but you need to take your binder off."

Nico nodded, and pulled his binder off when Will's back was towards him, bringing the blanket up to cover himself.

"Can I have a sweatshirt?" Nico asked, and Will nodded going back to the drawer, "thank you."

Will turned so he wasn't looking at Nico, and he was grateful for that as he pulled on the jacket, then the pajama bottoms.

Then, Will was sliding back in bed.

"Do you need to go to the bathroom before you sleep? And are you hungry? I'm hungry, I haven't eaten much today." Nico let out another whine, moving so he was wrapped around Will.

"I'm tired," he said, and Will smiled.

"I know, but you can sleep after. Promise." Nico groaned, rolled out of bed.

"I'm going to the bathroom."

"Hey," Nico looked back at him, and Will was reaching into the bag again, pulling out a box of tampons, and Nico went to grab it, blushing.

"Thanks," he mumbled, and Will smiled at him. He continued his way to the bathroom, and Will stood up himself.

He went out to the kitchen, scoffing at all the empty bowls and quickly placing them in the sink, then grabbed a bowl of left overs from the fridge so he wouldn't have to cook much.

He put it in the microwave, and as he was scooping out two servings, he heard Nico shuffling behind him, then his head dropping onto his back, his hands going around Will's waist.

"Hey, sleepyhead," in response, he got a sound similar to one a zombie would make, and Will laughed. He turned around so he was facing Nico, picking him up and setting him on the counter.

"Here," he said, handing Nico his plate and a fork with a smile. Nico hummed, taking the plate and eating.

They ate in relative silence, with the occasional comment. And when they were done, they placed their plates in the sink.

After quickly brushing their teeth in the bathroom, Will carried Nico back to bed, gently laying him down and snuggling close to him.

Nico buried his head into chest, and sighed softly, enjoying the warmth of Will's arms around him.

"I love you," Nico mumbled.

"I love you, too. Goodnight, Nico."

"Night," Nico replied, soon falling asleep.
