The amalgamation roars challenging faster with desperation in its every movement. 

J watched as the plasma seemed to be travelling in the slow moment to her with it inching towards the amalgamation.

V landed against the amalgamation, her swords were shoved into the body of the amalgamation. 

Deep it was plunged by V with a concerned look that was replaced by sheer bloodlust in a mere moment, V's disassembly and combative program taking quickly in change sensing oil. 

Unable to discern the origin point of where the oil came from, the program detected oil and could not tell the difference between an ally and prey.

The small swarm of nanites flew toward the nearest host body so that it could aid the rest of its swarm that resided within C-9-2 and the core.

The amalgamation roars through it all.

J's plasma gun finally hit the amalgamation, and V entered disassembly mode no longer able to discern N from the strange drone's body intertwined into one.

Trying to fight against the two one-fused beings, with neither beings fully integrated into a singular being. The core hummed louder and louder, causing the amalgamation to go into overdrive.

Despite the pain, despite the odds laid against the amalgamation fought back. Swinging blindly around with its claws, the nanites were used to blind V temporarily.

Preventing V was hitting the amalgamation seriously enough for life-threatening injuries. J had to change up another blast, acting more supportive long distance towards the conflict between them and the amalgamation.

The amalgamation pushes V from it, the sword being pulled out with V pushed away from the amalgamation.

They went towards V who was rebalancing herself from being pushed away and swatting at the nanites who were blocking her sight.

The amalgamation then grads V and flung her towards J meant as a distinction for them to escape quickly. 

The core released an energy pulse within the amalgamation helping it to further push the overdriving to its limits and allowing for it to last a bit longer.

J shrieks as V landed on her.

The amalgamation ran, seeking an escape opportunity and found it. 

Sorry it took me so long to write, I kept writing and rewriting the fight scene and couldn't make it feel right or make it feel like it could be read and not be clingy. So, sorry it's the quality is bad or this chapter is just bad. Hopefully, the next chapter would be better with the aftermath.
