Such a beautiful day today at Land of Dawn, everything seem perfect with the Genius Mage - Harley, it make him wanna do some magics for practice a bit then go explore something before he heard someone's voice.

  "Harley! We need to go" - said his sister, Lesley.

  Oh yeah, he forgot today they have a fight. He heard his team today will be him and his sister, along with Tigreal, Fanny and someone else, he didnt know who else will be in his team. Could be Lylia? Or Nana? Or maybe Lesley's gf Guinevere. Could be, he think.

  "HARLEY!!" - Lesley rasing her voice cause she didnt hear Harley's respond.

  "Oh, coming sis!" - said the Mage and then he run to her. Then they both head to the place where the others are waiting.

  "Hey Lesley and Harley!" - said Fanny.

  "Hey! So you guys still dont know who's the one will in our team?" - ask the sniper.

  "Not yet, but we'll know later I think" - Tigreal said.

  "So who will be our "enemies" ?" - The Mage ask the others.

  "Well we dont know as well, we'll find out dear brother" - Lesley said and pat Harley's shoulder. "Should we get going now?"

  "Oh yeah! Let's go!" - said Fanny with excitement voice.

  *After they came and wait for the fight begin*

  "Ugh where is the last person of our team?" - Fanny stared getting impatient.

  "Maybe he or she still on the way?" - Tigreal tries to calm his sister down.

  Both Lesley and Harley are looking at them. They both wonder why the last person still hasn't here yet. Then suddenly something make the sniper turn her head on the right.

  "Guys I think we'll win this fight" - she said, her eyes are wide open when she look on that right.

  "What? Why so you think we'll win?" - all three look at Lesley while she still look on the right then she point at where she look. Both Tigreal and Fanny was kinda shock.

  Where the sniper point, is a boy who seem same age with Harley. He has jagrual ears and tail, and he wear a mask cover half of his face. His eyes seem somehow... empty...? He might notice the noise from them but seem like he doesn't care at all. He just stand there, away from them, and wait for the fight begin.

  "Oh no not him! Anyone but that Leonin!! I wont get my mvp when he around!" - Fanny said with annoyence and somehow angry.

  Harley doesn't understand what happen. Why did she said that? Is something wrong with that boy?

  "Uhm sorry for disturb but is there something wrong with him?" - the Mage asked them.

  Tigreal sighed. "Well, it is something wrong with him, I supposed. He's the one refuse to joined us long ago. We don't know why, but he said he didn't interested with it I guess. His name is Harith."

  "Harith?" - Harley start wonder, why did he refuse to join them? Like they're not even evil. They just trying to help him. Why did he refuse such a good chance?

  "He always get mvp whenever he fight, like how??? How in the world??" - Fanny said with an anger voice tone."I'll lost my mvp in his hands."

  "Oh yeah, some said if the team being rude and toxic to him, he'll like, completely gone in the fight, ignore the team and go somewhere I think?" - said Lesley.

  Seem like everyone know about this boy, is he that bad? Harley look at his sister still staring at the Leonin, then she turn to him and hold both his shoulder.

  "Brother, listen, he might working with the Abyss before or now so whatever you do, do not let him catch his attention on you, I dont want anything happen to my brother..." - she said with a nervous voice.

  "O-ok sis, and dont worry about me, you know i'm the Genius Mage! Remember?" - Harley smiled with proud.

  "Alright alright, just remember what i said ok?" - said the sniper with sweet voice.

  "Ok!" - Harley responds. Then the fight begin.

  *After the fight begin, 2 minutes later"

  DOUBLE KILL!!

  Everyone was shocked, especially Harley. Who could get double kill in such a short moment? Plus the fight just begin for like 2 minutes and someone already got double kill??

  "Well theres goes my mvp." - Fanny said.

  "Who get double kill miss Fanny?" - the mage ask her.

  "Oh it's Harith" - Fanny said with some anger inside.

  "HARITH???" - Harley's eyes widened. He coudn't believe what Fanny just said.

  "Yes it's him, he always get double kills when the fight start in 2 minutes, or maybe 3 or 4 minutes, i don't know, but he's strong. That's all I know. Welp, you should get go help the others boy" - she pat the mage's back and goes away, left harley still in shock.

  "How strong exactly is he???" - he wonder. Then he just ignore it and goes to help the others.

  But before he can, someone attacked him suddenly make him couldn't respond and end up almost get killed.
But he use his 2nd skill to escape from the attck, until he got stunned by something. It was Selena who did that.

  Then she turn into a demon and attacked him. He cant move, he still didn't get over the stunned, he seem can't see what happening now, and no one is near there to help him. Is he gonna get hit and have to respawn again?

  UNSTOPABLE!!

  When the stunned over, the mage realize he almost got killed for being careless.

  "Damn it!! I should be more careful next time!" - he thought.

  Then he look at the person who saved him and he couldn't believe his eyes. It was Harith who saved him earlier, even he got his kills, he seem like doesn't care about that much. Then he look at Harley, to make sure the mage is fine. His blue empty eyes look at his green emarled eyes. Harley feel a bit uncomfortable.

  "W-what are you looking at you weird cat??" - Harley asked, his voice seem like a bit loud like almost screaming.

  The Leonin doesn't respond, just look at him with those empty eyes of his. Then he goes away, without saying anything. The mage was confuse. "What's wrong with him? Is something make him uncomfortable or something??" - he ask himself. Then he heard Lesley calling him for help. He has no time to think about anything now so he rush to where she is to help.

  After he's helping Lesley got her kill, he goes around to check if there's anyone need help. Then he saw that Leonin again, but this time he seem like he cant fight against 4 enemies, his mana was dran, he cant use the 2nd skill to run away from them. Just one more hit and he'll doomed.

  At this time, the mage know that he has to do something, even he know that Harith is bad, well, to the team, but he's still his teammate after all. So he attack them with his cards and has his kills on 2 of them. Then he hold the Leonin's wrist and take him away back to the main turrent so he can get him heal up, which make the Leonin surprise, he take his hand off Harley hand with the confusion on his face.

  "What do you think...you're doing...? - Harith finally talk for the first time. His voice seem cold.

  "Uh, take you back to recover? Like duh! You're almost got shut down you know?" - Harley said with one brow raise.

  The Leonin just stay quiet, saying nothing. They're now back in the main turrent to recover themselves, none of them say anything, the mage secretly look at the Leonin. Somehow he saw Harith... Handsome...? No No No!! Wat is he thinking!! He's not even gay (yet)!! Stay focus Harley!! The fight still not over! Focus!!

  Then he feel someone pat his shoulder. He look up and see Harith is patting his shoulder. Then he hear a cold voice.

  "Thank you, shortie". The mage realize that was Harith's voice. Then the Leonin dodge the wand almost hit his head. It was Harley who almost hit him, his cheek now turn red a bit cause anger.

  "Im not short you weird cat!!!! You're just tall!!!" - he shout at him with anger.

  Then he saw the Leonin walk away to fight again, leaving him angrily shouting.

  "I SAVED YOU FROM GETTING SHUT DOWN AND YOU CALLED ME SHORTIE???? YOU DAMN WERID CAT!!!"

  Of course, Harith doesn't care about what he said and just goes straight to the other turrents. Harley seem pissed of him.

  "Tsk! He probably think he's the best here, well i'll show him who's the best mage here!!"- Then he walk to the others.

   *After the fight*

  The team was victorious, of course thanks to Harley and Harith and the others. No one surprise when Harith was mvp, again. But Harley seem to not accept that.

"How come you didnt die a single one???" - The mage look at him angrily. But the Leonin just stay silent. He didnt say anything and suddenly, he pat Harley's shoulder again, make him confuse. Then he heard his cold voice.

  "Good job... Vance... i'll see you on the next fight..." - Then just like that, he leaves, again, without saying anything.

  Harley suddenly feel his face heat up a bit. What is wrong with him??? He slap himself to calm down and that make evryone surprise, especially Lesley.

  "Harley!!! Don't do that!!" - she checked the mage if he's ok.

  "Dont worry sis im still ok, I just try to calm myself down" - he smiled.

  "By slapping yourself? There's still many way to calm down you know" - she said with one brow raises.

  "Sorry" - he smiled again. "I promise i won't do that again"

  "Alright then, let's go home. Fanny and Tigreal already gone" - the sniper said while give Harley a warm smile.

  "Ok sis" - then they both get back home.

  With Harith, he doesnt understand why that mage was saving him earlier, cause he saw him getting weak? Oh no, he hate letting people see him weak. He has to be stronger, so no one can't see him being weak again! Then he goes back home and start training by himself, as usual. But think again, the Leonin somehow feel... warm inside him, when he remember the moment Harley worry about him and saving him. But he ended up ignore it and continue training.

  When Harley and Lesley came back, he rush into his room and lays on bed. What a great fight he thought, until he remember that weird Leonin again.

  "Ugh, that weird cat is so annoying!" - he think. But then Harley suddenly remember the Leonin's face and voice, he start blushing a bit. It's true that the annoying Leonin kinda... handsome? Wait what??? What is he thinking again??? Oh my god is he turning gay???
He slam his face on the pillow many times to calm down. He should be the handsome one not that Leonin!!
But then he stop, he realize something. The eyes and the voice of the Leonin mage, somehow, seem... broken... and hurt...? And somehow, that Leonin seem familiar...? Even they just met today but he felt that when he first see Harith.

  Harley doesn't know why he was the only one notice it, while the others seem... dont. He decide not to tell it to his sister because she might not notice it as well like the others. But he keep thinking about that until he hear Lesley call him.

  "Harley! Dinner's is ready!"

  "Coming sis!"

  During the meal, Lesley notice Harley keep spacing out while eating, his face seem thinking about something. Usually he always focus on eatimg and talking with her, but now he just being quiet. What make him thinking that much?

  "Uhm Harley?" - she call him gently.

  "Yes sis?" - Harley finally stop spacing out and look at her.

  "You seem a bit, serious. What make you thinking so much? You never thinking during the meal." - Lesley ask with a worried voice.

  "Oh nothing sister, it's just something bothering me" - He chuckles.

  "Harley I know that there's something bother you, but I dont want you hide it from me, so can you tell me what make you think that much?"

  "Well I-..." - He start getting nervous. Why does he feel nervous? It's just about Harith, nothing important.

  "Harley?"

  "It was about Harith..." - the mage finally spoke it out.

  Lesley was shock. Why did her brother think about that boy?

  "Did that cat spelled something on you?? I'm gonna kill him!!" - she said with angry voice.

  "No he didn't sis, and stop cutting my words ok??" - Harley said with some anger on his voice. He knows his big sister is a protective woman when it's come to him.

  "Ok ok, anyway why you thinking about him? Is there's something you saw from him?" - she ask again with some curious.

  "Actually yes, but I don't think you saw it from him sister" - he said, the voice  start getting serious.

  "Oh? What is it?"

  "It's his voice and his eyes sis, I somehow notice his voice and eyes are... broken... empty... and hurt... like... something bad happened to him and make him traumatized...? I know that he has a bad past but I dont know actually..." - Harley said with the serious look on his face. He decide not to tell her about the familiar feeling when he first saw Harith.

  Until this moment, Lesley know how serious the problem is. She heard that Harith's village was destroyed, and he was the only one alive. It gave Harith a long horrible traumatized, even with alucard and everyone's help didnt help him get away from it, though she heard Granger said he always smile when he still with them. Of course that make them happy, but then Granger realized the smile the Leonin got was...fake, he still didnt recover after that terrible thing happened to him.

  "Harley... i think you're right..."

  "Wait, you do...?" - Harley surprisingly look at his sister.

  "Yes, last time I was buying some groceries for our meal while it was raining pretty heavy, then I saw... Harith... He was sitting on a wooden swing... all soaking wet..." - then she stopped a bit. "And humming a song..."

  Harley frooze in shock a bit, he found it kinda...creepy when her sister told that. He dont know how to react with this, is that Leonin was really that traumatized about what happened in his past?

  "Harley...?"

  "Y-yes sis...?" - He slowly reply.

  "Whenever you are... stay safe for me ok...? Especially stay away from Harith... im just scared if he do anything to you, I would tear his body apart!! I swear!!" - from a worried voice earlier, Lesley end with an angry voice.

  "Calm down sis, it's going to be ok, remember i'm the Genius Mage! I can take care of myself!" - he said with proud again.

  "Alright alright you can my dear little brother, now finish your meal ok?" - she give him a warm smile.

  "Ok sister!"

  Then they eat again, but Harley can't stop thinking about the Leonin. He wonder, is the Leonin hiding something that no one find out yet? And why did he feel... familiar from him...?
