Chapter 2

The day of departure had arrived. You were nervous and had butterflies in your stomach. Not because you wanted to meet this alleged prince. You were planning how to not get chosen by this guy. You wanted to fail because you still wanted to explore. Wearing this dress (bear with me. I suck at describing clothes)

You figure staying somewhat simple would seem like you were not as wealthy as some of the other nations. It was true Aux wasn't a wealthy kingdom, but it was not poor either. If you got married, it would help the country finacially somewhat, but if you didn't, it won't be the end of the world.

Eventually the maids finished packing your necessart belongings. You had them take it with them to the carriage waiting in the courtyard at the entrance of the castle. Before you exited the room, you took an old brown tattered journal. It was your most prized possession. Not even all the money in the world could make up for its value. The content in the journal was filled with all the adventures you had and all the place you had visited. You had given detailed descriptions so that you could always remeber the look and feel of the place. You were leaving the castle to go to a new place. You planned on writing about the journey and the experience you were going to have in Sola.

As you proceeded to leave you bid your parents farewell and enter the carriage. As the footman pulls the reigns and the carriage moves, you wave goodbye to them and they do the same.

You almost immediately began writing in your journal about the ride. You never usually rode in carriages. It would always draw attention. Instead you usually dressed up as normal person and rode a horse and sometimes hitch hike to go to where you were going with the bare neccesities. Because of these methods, you knew that you can survive on your own.

After a few hours, you arrived in Sola. What stood out to you the most was that almost every civilian here had white hair. You wondered why. It was also rather cold, but yet the sun was shining down rather strongly, and yet the people were rather pale. You decided not to think much about since you have been to places with weirder climates and seen stranger people.

When you arrived at the castle, before the carriage came to a full stop you jumped out of the carraige yelling, "FINALLY!" You closed your eyes spinning in circles. "I thought I would never get out of that small box on wheels!" As you were spinning and laughing wildly, you failed to notice the man with white hair with vibrant indigo eyes staring down on you inside the castle with a crooked smile.
