Eremius just stared at you after you stated your plan. "I'm sorry F/n I don't follow. If you are desperate to escape him, why don't you use this opportunity to escape?"

"He threatened me saying he would go into war with my country. Besides..." you began to trail off. "I promised we would get married and we sealed the deal with a blood oath." Eremius looked at you wide eyed before yelling at you.

"F/n! You agreed to a blood oath?! You are practically bound to him now! Your chances of leaving him are basically impossible." 

"You think I didn't know this when I did it? I just have to get married. After that, I shall leave."

"But you will be a queen. The people will know your face."

"And yet in my own country, my people don't realize I am here. Nobles don't even know my face."

"But still. In Sola, the queen will be presented to the nation. Nobles and royalties will be present. You will be known then."

"Eremius. I am going to be fine. I can live alone and fit in with civilians of other countries. I am pretty smart as well. I can be a tutor possibly." Eremius remained quiet. He wasn't convinced. 

"Rhys isn't stupid. He thinks things through. He knows how people think. He knows how you think."

"That is not tr-"

"It is!" Eremius shouted. "Why do you think you are even here? If you two weren't bound by that blood oath, you would be in Aux right now wearing a wedding dress. That man is possessive. He always has been. As kids, if there was something he wanted, he would do whatever it took to get it. " You remained quiet. You knew Eremius was worried for you. You just stared at him. Then it hit you. The way he talked about him. The position he had. He was the head servant. He would cater to Rhys but to be able to talk about him in such a way, only a family member or person of higher ranking who was very much older would be able to say such things. Eremius seemed to be around his age.

"Eremius." you whisper quietly. "Why do know so much about him?" Eremius just stared at you as if he realized he made a mistake. There was a short amount of silence before he broke it saying something you never expected.

"We're brothers."
