It's been 7 years since the incident. I've became a 25 year old adult and work as an office worker at Skate inc.

"Kaoru! Get these papers! We need them all filled out by Tomorrow!" My boss Kikuyu said as a big stack of papers were dropped right in front of me.

'Great, more work' I groaned in my head. I really hated this job. Why do I still work here? Well my brother is in the hospital and He has leukemia. So therefore I need the money to pay for his treatment and medicine. I picked up the stack and shoved them lazily in my carrier bag.

"Bye! Feli!" I smiled at my Italian friend.

"Bye ragazza" he called back with that everlasting smile of his. I walked out the doors to see my green and black bike. I hopped on and started heading to my house.

"Bloss! Bubbs! I'm home!" I yelled.

"In the kitchen!" Blossom called back. I dropped my carrier bag on the floor and made my way to the kitchen.

"Watcha makin im starvin!" I told her as I peered over her shoulder to get a better look.

"Cookies duh!" She laughed.

"Whale then get on with it! Where's Bubbles by the way?"

"Oh she's applying for a job at that clothing store around the corner."

"Ohhhh okay. Well I'm going to go shower and get changed. I'm going to visit Dai today."

"Kaoru? How are you holding up? I mean with your parents death and Dai."

"I'm fine Bloss. It's just tough you know." I sighed. "Well I'll be upstairs" I said making my the stairs.

I walked into my room, grabbed a towel, and a scrubber. (idk what those are called srry XD)

"Bye Blossom! See you later!" I called

"Wait!" She said and ran up to me.

"Here. Give this to Dai and here's a couple for yourself." She said and handed me a bag of sugar cookies and a little basket for Dai.

"Thanks Bloss! You're fabulous.... And I'm stealing your car!" I said and walked out the door before I could hear her speak.

I drove all the way to the Newtownsville hospital and got out the car, cookies in hand. I walked to the entrance to see a lady with a tight grey bun and messy makeup at the check in desk.

"May I help you" she said bored.

"Uh hi I'm Kaoru Matsubara and I'm here to see my brother Dai Matsubara." I said impatience laced in my tone.

"Okay. ID please."  I fumbled in my pocket for my ID and gave it to her. A sticker with my face in it came out of her printer and she gave it to me.

"Room 126"  she said and handed me back my ID.

In a matter of time I reached room 126. With a light knock I heard a faint 'come in'

"Hey big bro. How are you feeling?"

"Pretty good. Thanks."

"That's good. Momoko gave me some cookies for you. They're fresh." I smiled and handed them to him.

"Really?!?! Her cookies are freaking fab!" He exclaimed with a sparkle in his eyes.

I laughed "Seriously Dai you can be so childish!"

"Pshhhhhh you can never be to childish Kaoru"  We both laughed.

"So how was work today?" He asked.

"Oh the norm. Kikuyu murdering my life with more stack of papers. Ahhhhh that's the life."

"Hahahahaha! Well I'm glad your day went well."

"So what's up with you?" I asked him.

" uh the food sucks and the gown is itchy." He cringed.

"Duh! It's hospital."

"Oh yeah I also got a new nurse."

"Really?"

"Yeah." He said and glanced down.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"It's-" the door opened.

"And here's your foo-" The plate of food in the nurses hand dropped and so did my smile. Dai didn't look comfortable.

"Butch...." I whispered wide eyed.
