Okay so the other day I got my first request.
And believe it or not, it was from a woman at my work (I work at a financial centre, and I'm not good at math, I just scan their documents and archive them.) but anyway she turned to me the other day and asked me if I could face paint and I was like "I'm not that good at face painting." And then she went away and then came back a be was like "but your good at drawing right, your drawing all the time."
And I was like, yeah I'm pretty good at drawing.
And so she asked if I could draw something for her. She wanted me to draw a template for face paint for her son, for his formal he is going be as day of the dead (thus the reason j have been drawing so much day of the dead recently.) and so I told her I would draw her this face painting template that she asked for and I'm going to give it to her today.
Here is the development of it:

First I found a picture she wanted me to draw off and then I practiced the designs on a piece of paper. Then I drew a really bad template on a piece of paper. Not even complete and I checked with her that was the designs she was looking for.

Like ew, so ugly.
And then I took a photo of it and put it on my computer and sketched over it, with better proportions.
And the finished result is:

I'm so sorry for such a bad photo. I've moved out of home so I don't have Internet at the moment, so I had to use my phone.
Anyway that picture is on a USB and I'm taking it to work today for the person that requested the picture. I hope she likes it.

And while we are on requests. I would like to offer that I'm going to do some requests for you guys.
I have never done them before and who knows if I will be good at them or not, and I might take my time in doing them; but I think doing a few requests might be good for my drawing development.
But like, I'll be honest, I don't want to draw youtubers or anything, I don't really watch YouTube. So I may say no to your requests, and I'm sorry but I would love a few requests of you have the time.
