LOUIS is walking through a typical fair, complete with fried food and rides. There is a child holding each of his hands. One is ERNEST, and one is DORIS. Both have flaming red hair, and are chattering excitedly about rides.

DORIS

That one! That one next, Louis!

Ernest

That one! That one!

LOUIS

We'll be here all day, kiddos. We'll go on all of the ones that you're tall enough to go on.

DORIS

But that one next!

DORIS tugs on LOUIS' hand, and then abruptly pulls away, running towards the ride she was gesturing to moments before. DORIS is just a kid, so she quickly gets lost in the massive amount of people.

LOUIS is instantly on edge.

LOUIS

Doris! Doris Deakin!

ERNEST clings to LOUIS' hand, peering around for his twin. LOUIS pushes through the crowd to the ride, looking through the line. But there is no little red head.

LOUIS begins immediately freaking out, entering a panic attack. Thoughts swirl around his head, thinking about his sister and his mum and how they died when he was not there.

Frantically.

LOUIS

Doris!

ERNEST

Doris! Crazy!

LOUIS turns in circles, crouching down to see if he can see her. He begins asking people in the crowd if they've seen a tiny redhead.

To a middle-aged woman.

LOUIS

She's five years old. Wild red hair. She ran off. Doris!!

From behind him.

DORIS

I'm right here.

LOUIS turns around, seeing DORIS. Her hand is being held by a taller man. LOUIS looks up, into the eyes of HARRY.

HARRY

Hi! She got a little lost! So glad I found you.

DORIS

Come on! The ride!

DORIS and ERNEST run up to the bars, watching the ride go around.

LOUIS takes a shaky breath, and begins to speak in a higher-pitched voice.

LOUIS

Thank you.

HARRY looks concerned.

HARRY

You ok there, pal? You look like you're having a panic attack.

LOUIS

I'm ok. Thank you.

From the bars.

DORIS

Why are you talking like that?

LOUIS smiles at HARRY, taking in everything about him.

LOUIS

Thank you so so much.

LOUIS grabs the twins' hands and they go and get into the line for a ride. He bends down to lecture DORIS on not running off like that, and HARRY watches them for a moment before going back to his own group that he's with.
