The sun is beginning to set when LOUIS enters a line to get cotton candy with ERNEST and DORIS.

LOUIS squats down to speak to them.

LOUIS

Alright, if you tell your dad that I bought you sweets, we'll never get to hang out again. So keep your mouths shut, ok?

ERNEST

Promise!

The three of them pinky promise each other, and then LOUIS stands, bumping into the person in front of him.

LOUIS in a high-pitched voice.

LOUIS

M'sorry, mate!

HARRY turns around, holding a toddler.

HARRY

Don't worry about it.

Smiles.

HARRY

Nice to see you again.

Waves to the twins.

HARRY

Hello again.

DORIS waves back, ERNEST stares.

HARRY

This is Robbie, my friend's kid.

HARRY hands the baby off, turns back around to talk to them.

HARRY

Did you have fun today?

ERNEST

It was so much fun! We went on all the rides!

DORIS

And now we're getting cotton candy!

LOUIS smiles at HARRY.

LOUIS

Fun little outing. Did you have fun, H-

LOUIS has to stop himself from saying his name.

LOUIS

Yeah, did you have fun?

HARRY beams.

HARRY

It was great. I love fairs. I'm Harry, by the way.

The line moves up, and LOUIS takes the opportunity to change the conversation.

LOUIS

Thanks again for helping find Doris. She's a terror in crowded places. Muscle man here always follows the rules, though.

DORIS rolls her eyes like a teenager, ERNEST stares up at HARRY.

HARRY

Just being a good person, you know. You put kindness into the universe, it comes back to you.

LOUIS laughs.

LOUIS

If that's your catchphrase, it's kind of long.

HARRY

How could I shorten it?

LOUIS waves his arms when he speak.

LOUIS

"Treat people with kindness."

HARRY's face explodes with excitedness.

HARRY

Oh my gosh, you're a genius. Can I trademark that?

LOUIS

Go ahead.

LOUIS smiles and looks down at the kids, who are talking about the rides to each other.

LOUIS

Looks like you're up in line, Harry.

HARRY shrugs.

HARRY

My friend's know what I want.

He blushes.

HARRY

Do you think I could have your number? In case you need a babysitter or something?

LOUIS coughs, and turns red.

LOUIS

Oh my fookin' god. I'm not their dad!

HARRY turns red, mortified. 

LOUIS

Sorry, I'm their older brother. Different dad, same mum.

HARRY

I am so sorry! Wow, that's so embarrassing. I'm so dumb.

LOUIS

Honest mistake, mate.

HARRY takes a second to recover.

HARRY

Well, in case you wanted to go out for coffee?

HARRY looks into LOUIS' eyes, and LOUIS shuts down. Complete brain cell shut off. ERNEST bumping into him gets him going again, a second later.

LOUIS shakes his head.

LOUIS

Sorry, I don't think that's the best idea.

HARRY is very visibly hurt, but plays it off. 

HARRY

No worries. It was nice to meet you.

HARRY runs off with his friends, and LOUIS orders the treats for them. He glances in the direction that the boy had just ran off in, and then sighs loudly, handing over his debit card.
