Chapter Four

Susanna's POV

"We weren't sisters by heart, but God knew from the start, He would put us together to be sisters at heart. I still remember one of my first memories of Lynn Reese. The chick ate like 20 some boxes of raisins gaining the nick name Raisin Girl for herself." I look over at My best friend and smile brightly. "In fact the year in sixth grade started a friendship that I never knew would become What it is. Lynn and I were born and grew up states apart. The amazing thing was that God was making us so insanely similar. We grew up watching the same shows like Pappyland that no one else out there seemed to know even existed. We are equal parts random and jus know each others heart's.We had writing hearts and love for singing. She helped me on the way to God. She was like a big sister to me. We had up and down times and finally here we are today officially sisters in law. We can miraculously know what the other is thinking or feeling even when we have been apart for a long time. I thank God for your friendship, Lynn. And Donald, you are a lucky man to have her. I love you both. I can't wait for the adventure ahead." I sat down wiping my eyes, Lynn was smiling through teary eyes.

I looked up as my husband stood, kissing my head. "I haven't known Lynn but a few years, but I've known the man she married for my whole life. Donald it's about time you married this girl!" Joey grinned at his brother, though I knew well enough that he was emotional too. "You were always there for me, Donnie. I could count on you. You two are made for each other. I couldn't have picked anyone better for a brother or a sister in law."

The best man and maid of honor speeches were now over. It was time for the rest of the reception. We all made our way out of the tent that had been set up outside on my family's property. "Please join us as well let of these lanterns in memory and thoughts of those who couldn't be here." I said into the microphone. They lifted lanterns and Tangled had some serious competition right there.

Dancing proceeded back inside the tent to a mirade of Disney songs, Christian songs, and a fun and equally random mix of things.

As a slow song came on, Joey took my hand and spun me slowly around. My heart filled to the brim, as we stepped side to side I looked around smiling widely. Then I looked up into breathtaking blue eyes. Eyes of the man that was my forever. I leaned my head against his chest. "I love you Joseph Stamper."

"And I love you, Susanna Stamper." He tilted my chin up and kissed me long and sweet.

Next thing I know the music has changed and "I can't shut up" is pouring out of the speakers. Random? Yes. Fitting? Totally!

I'm taken back to when I got Lynn a bracelet with that song on it. She laughed out loud and said how appropriate! She had the song on her phone, and the title just fit the lively, vibrant, and chatterbox best friend of mine.

I couldn't be any happier right now.

God's got some plans. And I for one. Am eagerly anticipating them.
