One year later...
Adrien woke up in a white room, filled with machines. His head hurt like hell.
"Where am I?" He asked.
"You're in the hospital, Adrien." Said Nathalie, coming to him. "You suffered a bad head injury, and you were in a coma for a year."
Adrien then remembered his friend Marinette. Was she really dead? Was it just a dream?
"Where's Marinette?" Adrien asked hopefully.
"She died before you were injured." Responded Nathalie.
"Oh. Right." Adrien looked down, sad. Nathalie walked out of the room, and the teen boy sighed. "I should've done something!". He looked at his hands. He wished his lady was still with him, but he knew he could never see her again. He then wondered "What was she trying to tell me that day?"
(I also have to say that in this story, Kwamis can see ghosts. I don't know if they actually can, but in this story, the can)
"Get over it!" Said Plagg, even though he'd seen her before. "She's gone now forever!"
"Plagg! She was killed right in front of me!" Yelled Adrien. He sighed, and laid back down. Soon, he drifted off to sleep.
Meanwhile, Marinette was still in that corner. She couldn't accept that she was really dead, she was afraid to. She heard a familiar voice, and turned around. It was her parents. "Mom... Dad!" She said. She wished she could be heard or seen. She decided to go out again. She walked through Paris again.
"How much time has gone by?" She thought. Everything was strange to her. She hadn't seen much in a while. She did notice a few people looked a bit older than before.
"I want to as you a question, Rose." Said a voice. Marinette looked up, and saw Rose and Juleka together
"Yes Juleka?" Exclaimed Rose.
"Will you marry me?" Juleka asked as she held a ring out. Rose hugged her, crying tears of joy.
(I had to add a yuri moment. I might add Yaoi later)
Marinette smiled to see they were happy.
After wandering for a while, she went back to her corner. She sighed. She was really dead, and was pretty much ready to accept it.
"Marinette..." Whispered a voice.
Marinette turned around. Did someone see her? She sighed when she saw nobody. Though she rubbed off the fact that she saw something looking at her from Alya's bag.
The next day, Adrien decided to go out for a walk. He hoped his mind would be cleared.
Suddenly, he heard sulking in the distance. He pushed through the busy, gossiping crowds.
Soon, he saw a pale white girl sitting in a corner. Without hesitation, he went up to her.
"Miss!" Adrien called out.
Marinette turned around to see Adrien. "Y-you can see me?" She questioned.
"Miss... Are you alri-" He was speechless when he saw who it was. "Marinette...".
