Darkened Eyes, Pale Face
"Marinette..." Adrien said, pale in the face.
"Adrien...!" Marinette yelled as she stood up.
"Marinette!" Adrien ran to give her a hug.
"That's not a good idea!" The ghost girl warned.
Instead of hugging her, Adrien ran through her and hit the wall, then fell.
"Adrien!" Marinette yelled, running up to him.
Adrien slowly opened his eyes.
"Marinette... I thought you were..." He stuttered.
"I am..." She whispered.
"So... You're a ghost?"
"I guess so... And you can actually see me?!"
"... Apparently!"
"But how?!"
"I don't know... So can you touch me?"
"I'm not sure. I mean you can see me. I really don't know about touching."
Adrien held his hand up. Marinette then hesitated, and reached out to touch him. Her finger just went right through his hand.
"That answers that..." Said Adrien, smiling.
Marinette smiled back.
Marinette didn't look like a floating sheet. She had the same facial features and such, but she was completely as white as snow. The only thing that was dark on her, were her eyes, which were completely black.
"So I know how it goes..." Said Adrien.
"How what goes?" Asked Marinette.
"I know from movies and books. Anyone who can see ghosts, has to help them pass on. So that's what I'll do! I'll help you pass on! I'll do my job."
"... Okay..." Marinette was fine with it if it made him happy.
"Come with me." Said Adrien.
Marinette nodded. Adrien started walking, and Marinette walked next to him.
Adrien could barely see Marinette in the blaring light. When she was in the shaded corner, she glowed a bit, like a glow stick.
"Are you there Marinette?" He asked.
"Yes... Why?" The ghost girl answered.
A classmate stared at Adrien, and wondered what he was talk about. Wasn't Marinette dead?
Adrien saw the classmate, and ran away fast.
"Are you okay?" Marinette asked.
"I'm kinda talking to myself when we're talking... Because nobody else can... You know... See you..." Adrien explained.
Adrien went to the subway station to get home.
The ghost and the boy went into the train. When it began moving, Adrien looked to see nobody with him.
Marinette was on the track, for the train went through her.
"Adrien!" She called out, as she ran to the train.
Soon she got to him, and was now levitating.
"You're... Levitating..." Said Adrien.
"It's helping me stay in the train with you." Marinette said. Adrien smiled sheepishly.
Oh how she loved that smile.
"It was quite a shock to learn I was dead... I thought it was quite strange nobody could see me... And I had no reflection... Then I saw my own gravestone." Marinette whispered.
"That must've been hard." Said Adrien.
"It was... But at least someone can see me now..."
Adrien knew this was his responsibility. He needed to help her
