[Y/N POV]

The car ride was going on smoothly and so tranquil and silent- the silence before the huge storm. I'm aware that soon I'm going to get surrounded by a pile of reporters and millions of questions. What I'm worried about is just one thing- no news about us should have been released.

I was nervously biting the tip of my thumb thinking of all possible explanations if something gets to the media but soon Jaehoon's deep voice and the flashing camera lights brought me back to reality. We've reached the Supreme Court.

"Miss, we're here." He uttered, soon getting out of the car and opening the car door for me, putting his hand above my head so that it doesn't get hit by the roof. I'm just one percent glad that Jaehoon isn't a jerk.

As soon as I got out, as expected, the dazzling lights and millions of questions hovered above me. These questions are becoming repetitive now and so, I must give them an explanation to shut these mouths. They are one of the reasons for my insane headache.

"Ms. Min, are you confident about winning this case?" A reporter asked.

"Ms. Min, does this case really have a criminal angle? If true, is Jeon Jungkook involved in it?" This damn question! These media people love tea, I must say.

Oh well, my brother was also standing there and ironically he works in the same industry. He just gave a thumbs up to me rather than asking questions and I nodded looking at him.

I was about to give an explanation but one question raised by a senior journalist made me halt on my words and I got perplexed.

"Ms. Min, what are your thoughts on the chairman of YJN Entertainment, Mr. Lee's son, Lee Eun Suk's sudden demise? Does it have any relation with the case?" He questioned and honestly, this question made me frightened to the core. I lowered my eyes lost in thoughts.

Although Lee Eun Suk was a motherfucking pussy and he deserved hell which he was awarded with, but who in the world has the balls to murder the son of such an influential personality, that too in prison?!

Wait.

Think Y/N. Think...

There is someone who has an enmity with Mr. Lee...

JK.

I instantly glared at Jaehoon not giving a damn about all those cameras and people. He whispered in a very feeble tone in my ears.

"Miss, I'll give you the details after the hearing, it's a different story we can deal with it later." He informed and I nodded now glancing straight towards the media.

"I would appreciate your support towards the artist. Mr. Jeon doesn't have any involvement with the said statement, I as their official attorney, assure the fans and concerned people that we have solid evidence. Please wait for the final verdict. Thank you." With this, I turned my toes and walked towards the main entrance followed by Jaehoon.

The reporters still didn't let us catch a breath, they were following us continuously for full coverage but thanks to the security we had just a little space to breathe.

In a few minutes BTS, their management, and people from YJN also arrived. They all wore black blazers paired with black pants, similar to mine and their faces were covered with masks. I can make out Jungkook rolled his eyes when he glanced at Sua, even with his mask on. I know his body language, his palms are turned into fists, he's internally passing daggers on the woman in front and I'm pretty sure he's super annoyed. I can make it out well.

The media barely let him breathe, thanks to the security he was able to avoid the flooding questions and walk forward. Although, I'm concerned about how much time it'll take for them to reach up here because the whole Supreme Court's main entrance is bashed with media. I cannot make out a single spot where a reporter isn't present. The whole area is packed.

"Ms. Min, I'll arrange the files and important things inside." Jaehoon spoke and I nodded, not sparing him a glance as my full focus was on Jungkook who was literally struggling to get out of that black hole of those reporters. I was so lost in my thoughts and closely observing him that I forgot to notice the figure standing beside me until her voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

"Hello, Unnie!" Arina spoke out making me flinch at her excited voice.

"Oh. Hi..." I replied nonchalantly again looking at Jungkook wondering if he mustn't say anything weird else our hard work is done for.

"Don't worry you'll win." Arina patted my shoulder whilst portraying a beautiful smile, bringing me back to earth for the nth time. I need to get a hold of my mind, at this rate, I'll only worry rather than fight the battle for this case. I took in a deep breath and finally, glanced at the smiling girl in front of me.

"You ain't nervous are you?" I asked and she shook her head in denial.

"I think I should ask you that. You alright?" She placed her hand on my shoulder and I nodded in affirmation trying my best to appear confident, though I was screaming internally. After all, who wouldn't? I have this super high-profile case in my hands with no confirmation that I may really win because even if we do win... Our relationship might become a barrier if it's revealed.

"Where is Bright?" I asked looking for her boyfriend, he must've accompanied her.

"He's waiting inside. Well, our relationship got the media the other day as you know... so as expected they are following us like crazy. It was tough to even walk up till here due to the rush, but it's alright now." She shrugged, smiling as if it was a normal thing making me surprised.

"Your career and your life are at stake you know right?" I asked the girl and she again smiled making me confused as ever.

"I don't care. I want justice." She replied confidently and her confidence somehow gave a burst of confidence in my veins too.

This girl right in front of me has her whole career and life on the verge of falling but still, she's brave enough to face the consequences not getting scared by an inch then I should also be strong to fight for her. I clenched my fists due to the sudden rush of adrenaline in my veins and glanced at Jungkook now walking towards us along with the boys and HYBE team.

[A/N POV]

"Hello Y/N and Arina." Mr. Bang, the chairman of HYBE, and the others greeted the two ladies, while they bowed a little in respect. Since, this is a closed area, not many reporters could come inside, so they can discuss some things freely here.

"Mr. Seo, I'm certain everything's ready but can you please check it once? I'll be there in five minutes." The lawyer requested the head of the legal team of HYBE and with an instant 'yes' coming from his side, they made their way towards the courtroom giving them some privacy. She instantly glanced towards her husband as soon as they went away making sure there isn't anyone who's secretly recording.

Jungkook just noticed how serious his wife was appearing. From her custom-tailored black blazer and pants, her hair graciously tied up into a ponytail, the golden earrings she carried, the wedding ring she always wore to the three-inch heels she was wearing, everything gave off an intimidating vibe.

'This is how the lawyer Min Y/N looks like, she looks so gracious, so intellectual, which she is but this look, she's nailing it.' He thought to himself, totally whipped by his woman's look and personality.

"Sua, she doesn't know about us does she?" She enquired sternly and the man crouched his brows taken aback by her words. He expected her to shower some heartwarming or motivational words or at least a 'How are you?' would've made him feel better from this awful mood but he got a totally unexpected question.

He stared at her blankly for good two minutes trying to study her features, afterall, it's been two days since he heard her voice and it would be a lie if he says he didn't miss her, he did. Moreover, he was worried about her and now looking at her in front of him, he just wanted to give her a bear hug and say 'I missed you, love'.

With no answer coming from the male's side, she snapped her fingers in front of him, cocking her brows upwards and he flinched due to her actions just now.

"Earth to Jungkook." Arina whispered loud enough for the others to hear. Jimin and Taehyung chuckled at the younger's reaction and the hyungs were internally face-palming themselves.

"She doesn't know-" Jungkook was trying to explain his part but soon got cut off by his hyperactive Taehyung hyung.

"They both fought the other day and he threatened her saying, 'I can't tolerate anyone troubling my woman'." Taehyung spilled the beans soon to get a fisted punch on his back by Jin, a stomp on his feet by Jimin and sharp-shooting glares from everyone else including Jungkook. Y/N didn't pay much attention to his words rather her main concern was that Jungkook revealed that he was having some relationship with her.

That's the thing she fears the most right now.

She glared at the male and took calculated steps near him without breaking eye contact. Her eyebrows twitched and she wetted her dried lips trying her best to not shout at the male.

"You love to mess up things don't you?" She gritted her teeth losing her calm and whisper yelled at him not minding the people around her at all. She was about to speak further but Arina held her back by lightly pulling her from her shoulders.

"Unnie, don't shout at him. It wasn't his fault." She spoke and the woman took in a deep breath for a second and closed her eyes to calm herself down.

"If the case messes up, you would be responsible for it." She spat harsh words on him, her expressions as stoic as ever and she turned her heels, about to move towards the courtroom but the male made her stop by holding her wrist. She glanced at his hand on her wrist and then shot a glare at him.

For the lawyer Min, winning this case was the most important thing, she didn't want anything to be imperfect in her work, after all, she's the ace in this field. What else can one expect from her? She's ruthless when it comes to her professional life and so, she didn't think twice before speaking such harsh words to the person she has fallen for.

"I'm sorry." He whispered in a feeble voice and she freed her wrist from his hold, totally ignoring his apology and glanced at Mr. Bang.

"I'll try my best to win." She assured and walked away towards her battleground- the courtroom, leaving everyone stunned by her flip in attitude. Everyone has seen her loving and caring towards Jungkook, this is the first time they've seen her this stern. Little did they knew, out of everyone, she was the one who was screaming inside because she was aware of the outcome and she might not be able to handle the mess created after that. All of the efforts would be gone to waste and there might be a possibility that they might win the case but Jungkook's image, it wouldn't be spotless like before.

She hastily walked and sat on her seat. Everyone present in the courtroom stared at her as if she were some supermodel walking the ramp. Well, in this situation she is more influential than some world-famous artist. That's the power the ace Min Y/N holds. The courtroom is her battleground and the opposition is her enemies until she wins the war.

"Miss Min, is everything alright?" She was lost in her thoughts when Jaehoon's voice pulled her out of her trance and she peeked at him from the corner of her eyes, the stern expression never leaving her face but now it was more of worry evident on her face.

She did shout at her husband due to her vexation but now, she was the one peeking at him every now and then wondering 'I shouldn't have shouted at him like that. He appeared so tensed and I must've increased his stress.' Soon, her eyes made their way towards the opposition, she can make out the smirk on Sua's face when she made an eye contact with her as if she got a huge achievement.

"Did they get their hands on something?" She wetted her dried lips and murmured to herself.

"Miss Min-"

"Jaehoon, any weird activity amongst the opposition? I'm having an eerie feeling." She questioned the male and he stared at her for a second but soon his lips curved upwards into a devilish smirk- the signature 'Jaehoon style'.

He picked up a black file and made sure to flaunt it on the evil woman's face, instantly making the smirk wash off her face. Sua jumped off from the seat ready to throw hands but her lawyer was the most sensible one in their team and so, he pulled her back to her seat. Y/N could make out Sua was uttering some profanities and soon rolled her eyes.

"Well, even if they did, they won't be able to present it now, that's a fact." He rolled his eyes at Sua and tilted his head towards Y/N patting the file. She snatched the file from his hand and opened it and her heart sank to her stomach- the file had pictures of her and Jungkook, secretly taken, the picture of their wedding. Her eyes widened in surprise looking at those pictures.

"Even I don't have the pictures of my own wedding, how the hell did they manage to get a hand on it?!" She almost jumped from her seat seeing those.

"How did you get the file?" She asked still recovering from the shock and he shrugged his shoulders not in the mood to tell anything. She lowered her gaze from him and again, glanced at Jungkook who was now looking at the tensed woman but soon her colleague's words made her look at him.

"No one would know, don't worry." Jaehoon spoke and she flinched a little.

The person she's most afraid of knowing the truth is Jaehoon or Poison himself.

She gazed at him and the way he was looking at her, she can make out he was being genuine. But why? Out of all people why would a gangster who was most probably assigned to keep an eye on her and her activities, be willing to help her?

"Why are you doing this-"

"Focus on the case Miss Min, we can keep this talk for later." He uttered not letting her speak any more. He didn't want to scare her and so he tried to change the topic.

"I don't get one thing, your personal life has nothing to do with the case, you'll win anyways. What's the point of revealing it? Looks like, that wench Sua wants to destroy Mr. Jeon's image by all means."

"Do you know what dogs do when they're starved for days?" She asked cocking her brow at him and he smirked at her question, now, the rebellious Min Y/N was back to work.

"They bark crazily just like what she's doing now." They both spoke in unison chuckling at the statement and seeing Sua fuming in rage as if she would scratch someone's face with those sharp nails of her. Oh well, that someone is definitely not Min Y/N.

Meanwhile, Jungkook's palms turned into fists when he saw Y/N's tensed expression. Moreover, he just felt like punching Jaehoon's face and scratching that smirk off. The way Y/N was chuckling with him made a fire rise inside his system. He knows that she's being professional but nothing can stop a man's jealousy, right?

"I see a love triangle here. That hot guy must be the rival." Arina, who was, sitting just beside the male teased him and soon, her boyfriend the gossip.

"What hot? Yah! I'm better!" Bright shot a sharp glare at the woman, he was sitting on the left side of Jungkook.

"See, this is why I say men get jealous so easily." She pouted forgetting that they are here for an important case that has become a topic of discussion in the whole world.

Meanwhile, Jungkook, who was sitting in the middle, glared at the couple giving them a look of 'Shut the hell up you two!' and they did become quiet for a few seconds and the trio again glanced at Y/N and her colleague who chuckled again due to something. Bright and Arina patted Jungkook's shoulders from both sides, as if consoling the male and the chaotic duo didn't forget to mutter a "fighting!" towards him. Jungkook almost had that 'I'm done' look plastered on his face.

Soon, the judge came forward and everyone got up from their seats bowing in respect towards him and the hearing of the case started.

The hearing, debates, counterattacks of statements and a ruthless argument between the two sides finally came to an end after an elongated period of eight hours. The judge made his final verdict which stated,

"Sua Kang and Lee Jun Woo have been proven guilty for the following charges; defamation, attempt to murder, attempt to tamper the evidence, illegal drug business and all sixteen more charges mentioned in the document. The court gives them the punishment of life imprisonment. The court orders the cops to immediately arrest all the other people involved in this business and YJN Entertainment must pay back  three hundred million won to HYBE Entertainment as a compensatory damages, to the company and the artists." The judge took in a deep breath and spoke further continuing his verdict.

"Also, the court gives the accused a time limit of twenty-four hours to publically apologize for all their wrongdoings and to arrange the compensation amount. Lastly, I would like to say that, idols and celebrities are humans too they have a life out of these rolling cameras. It is for the people to understand and put their faith in the right person rather than believing in things without any valid proof. We don't know, but our one hate comment might kill someone's will to live." The senior judge took off his glasses and spoke further, looking at Jungkook.

"The court is adjourned." He announced and soon, the cops arrived handcuffing Sua and Mr. Lee. The reporters didn't stop typing all the important details.

Y/N finally took a breath of relief and sat on her seat closing her eyes for a moment engulfing this moment, this feeling of success, she couldn't believe that she won the case. A lone tear left from her eye but she was fast enough to wipe it off. Jaehoon was fast enough to notice that and so he placed a glass of water in front of her. She took a sip of it and then again glanced at Jungkook.

She saw all the other members of BTS and HYBE staff hugging Jungkook and celebrating the victory. Bright and Arina were hugging each other like the typical K-drama couples feeling each other's warmth and she can see how happy they both appeared. A beautiful smile was plastered on their faces. Bright steadily pecked on Arina's forehead and a layer of red tint appeared on the girl's cheeks. She blushed and smiled gazing lovingly at the male.

'I must say this scene felt so heartwarming!' Y/N thought and chuckled looking at the lovebirds

Then she glanced at Jungkook and he too was looking at her, for a moment it felt like everyone disappeared and only the two of them were present in the whole room. She was about to approach him but unfortunately, the legal team and other people of Hybe flooded her with millions of "congratulations."

Thanks to Jaehoon, she was able to make out from the crowd in one piece and now they were outside the courtroom.

Arina ran towards Y/N and gave her a bone-crushing hug and the woman chuckled at her gesture whilst patting her back. The two females unaware of their partners being jealous of them hugging each other like long lost besties.

"Congratulations unnie! I'm proud of you." She spoke, still in the same position and Y/N nodded mouthing her a thankyou.

The younger was about to speak further but Bright forcefully parted the two pulling Arina to himself. A crooked and vicious smile made its way on his face.

"Congratulations Ms. Min." He uttered and Y/N almost had a great laugh at his childishness. She patted his shoulder and spoke further.

"Don't worry, I'm not into women. She's all yours." She whispered teasing the male and he chuckled, while Arina was flushed up to red.

"Yeah, she's mine. We're going to get married next week." He announced with the biggest smile on his face, making the woman's eyes dilated but soon her lips curved up into a smile.

"What? Really? Congratulations you two!" She spoke out all excited.

"Unnie, will you be my bridesmaid?" She asked Y/N and the woman nodded in affirmation. She was about to speak further but Mr. Bang's words made her stop.

"Arina, we're grateful for your immense help. Thank you so much, HYBE and the team would always remember this help." Mr. Bang expressed his gratitude towards her.

"It's my pleasure, Sir."

"Thank you Y/N." He shaked hands with the lawyer expressing his utmost gratitude towards her.

Soon, they all walked out towards the main entrance of the court where all the media was present. They all were coincidentally wearing matching black blazers and walking as if they were on a ramp. Y/N in the middle, Jungkook and Jaehoon on both her sides, BTS boys on either side followed by Bright and Arina.

The reporters asked Y/N some questions which she was about to reply back but suddenly got harshly pushed by someone, her balance deteriorated and she was about to fall on her face but the two males swiftly caught her by placing their hands on her waist. Her eyes widened in surprise and she peeked at Jungkook and Jaehoon's side profiles unaware of the fact that there was an invisible spark illuminating from their eyes.

A spark of possessiveness.

A spark of jealousy.

POTATO'S NOTE:
Yes I know it took me long to update, but trust me guys I was researching a lot to write this chapter along with working on my YT stuff. I don't know whether it turned out well or not, but you must've noticed that the courtroom parts feel rushed. It's majorly because I'm not much aware of law things and putting up laws from Korean constitution, since it's a fanfiction, I think anymore details would make it brooding. I hope you liked chapter.
