Jisoo got extremely anxious. I had to constantly push her towards the car to stop her from creating any further scenes. She finally became normal after a tough session of pushes and pulls.

" Hey you ok? I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you at all. It was necessary." I asked softly

I lifted my hand to caress her cheek which became quite red by now, but she jerked away my hand. I felt sorry towards her.

" You're going to kill me right so I can't reveal the truth? Kill me then ." She wailed.

" No you misunderstood me. I'm a lawyer and I'm going to save you from this mess. In fact, you're my prime witness!" I spoke facts, to make her believe in me.

"Oh really, you think I'll believe you? The people who are trying to kill us are lawyers. No one is trustable. " She gasped making me surprised.

"How is that possible? Wait...
They must be the lawyers from our opposition, hired by YJN. They are ruthless and they are supported by a big shot so definitely they do not have any fears of killing someone."

So those gangsters previously were Lawyers? No wonder, I could not get hold of them.

"I'll let you talk with your brother who's in hiding right now. Will you beleive me then? " After a minute of dead silence I assured her.

She just stared at me and then I dialed his number.

"Hello? Ms. Min is my sister safe-" He asked, worry audible in his voice.

"Bro-brother!! I was so scared! I'm fine. Where are you? " She started crying and sobbing. I see she really was scared, her body was shaking due to fear.

"I'm at Ms. Min's place. She really wants to help us. Don't misunderstand her." He answered.

"Ye-yes brother." She stuttered.

She cut the call and cried hard. I didn't stop her.

"Sometimes it's fine to cry as much as you want, It'll make you feel better and it relieves your pain." I said whilst slowly patting her head, giving her a soothing feeling, making her comfortable.

"Please forgive me for my rude behaviour." She apologized sniffing. Her nose turned red and she looked so cute.

Gosh! She finally believed me!

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt him. I just wanted to create a fuss so that at least I'll get a place that is prison, to hide from these people. I seriously didn't thought of anything else and I did it as a reflex" She explained what she planned.

"It's fine I understand. Please feel comfortable , you are safe now. "

How would I not understand? You were going to get killed after fifteen minutes if you didn't act repulsively before.

We safely reached my place and in an instant she hugged her brother and cried even harder. My eyes softened seeing them. I gave them some time to talk.

Meanwhile , I thanked my assistant for escorting Mr. Kim from the airport and for making sure no one was following us. I saw him out of my apartment.

I locked the door with a click sound and in the blink of an eye, the gloomy atmosphere turned serious with my sudden bombarding of questions.

"Now tell me WHY THEY KILL SARA? That's extremely necessary for the case. You are her best friend." I spoke raising my voice a bit louder. Her tears streaming down her face, which she was harshly wiping off in an attempt to appear strong.

"She was raped and killed by that bastard! She was a very lively girl . Her only mistake was to drink in the freshers party. I feel sorry for her." I could see dried patches of tears in her eyes.

"It wasn't her mistake. She's in a better place now. Do you have an evidence? Can you tell me what happened exactly? " I said trying to console her, whilest asking the super vital information.

"She was drunk that day . I went to the restroom for a minute but then she disappeared. She was taken by Lee Eun Suk."

"WHAT?! Lee Eun Suk the son of the chairman of YJN entertainment?" My eyes widened at this revelation.

"We got information that they are filing a case because YJN was prime sponsor of the event. But according to my report it was a drunkard who killed her! How?" I asked aghasted.

"Ma'am that's all a set up by the big shots. They didn't wanted to lose image. I clicked a picture and I have an evidence. I was stopped by the guards that day. There was high protection in that area! But Sara she was begging for justice even in her last breaths...!" The girl spoke, unable to hold her sobs and tears.

"What happened then?" I asked widening my eyes.

"I got the recording from the secret cam placed in the room, which they were unaware of. See this yourself, that bastard even abused her!" She spoke agitated.

I saw the video, the poor girls cries and her muffled screams, her helpless attempts to save herself, I saw everything. It was so heartbreaking. I moved my eyes from the phone unable to see anymore, with a determined goal locked in my mind and heart- Lee Eun Suk will pay thousand times more of what he did to her.

"Looks like this case is much bigger than I thought. Sara he'll end up in hell for what he has done to you." I said jolting up my vexation.

The siblings saw the anger in me and so Jisoo spoke further giving me her reasons for why they were leaving the country.

"I feel extremely guilty that I can't save her. So, I am trying to collect evidence. Join the dots. But it became life threatening at one point and that's why we were running away from here."

[A/N POV]

The worst feeling in the world is guilt– if not handled properly. It starts to eat you up from inside and makes the body hollow. Don't do things which might make the heart filled with culpability, it's a blackhole to end up in.

"This girl. You're just 19 dear. Yet you're handling this thing all alone by yourself. I'll protect you from now. The case hearing is 2 weeks away from now . Till then You'll live with me. I guarantee you'll be safe." The bold lady announced giving hopes to the siblings.

"I just wanted to give the evidence . I'll leave now ! I don't want any trouble. Me and Brother will leave now - Overseas" She answered showing her disinterest in living here even a second more.

"Yes, Ms.Min you already did so many favours to us, we don't want to cause any more trouble. We're leaving Korea forever!" Mr. Kim announced their soon departure from this land.

They might escape from this place, but...

Can they escape from destiny?

Certainly not.

Y/N knew they'll get murdered once they're caught leaving this place. She knew what will happen and so she was trying her best to make them stop from taking the wrong decisions.

"Wait! You're not safe. I insist, just till the court hearing stay here . I myself will drop you to a safer place after that. " She pleaded them and after a long silence of thoughts they came to a conclusion.

"Since it's an emergency. We'll listen to you." Mr. Kim spoke sternly. A cist of suspicion on the bold lawyer still wandering his mind. Afterall, they're getting threatened for a long time and they knew even a small mistake could end thier lives.

"Thank you so much sir. I can't let you stay in a hotel since there is a possibility that those people might find you out." Y/N said sounding concerned. Her kindness showing in her deeds. They nodded in agreement. Jisoo started getting panicked again but Mr. Kim consoled her.

"There is a vacant room in my house you can use that. "

"Thank you Ms. Min"

"I'm counting on you then . I'll not show my face in the public" The brown haired girl spoke.

"I know. Your safety is my first priority. I live alone here. Feel free to use anything . I'll order something to eat for you guys." She said showing hospitality. Afterall, they're her guests- special guests who'll helping in closing a huge case.

"Thankyou ma'am. " Jisoo said formally, making the woman's eyes squint. It was making the mood awkward being so formal.

"You can call me unnie." She spoke giving a little assuring smile.

"Thank you unnie!" The younger's lips finally curved upwards showing a rare pretty smile, making the woman remember someone.

After a long time she heard someone speaking with her so lovingly other than her brother. She quickly brushed off her thoughts and thought,
