story of Y/N & Jimin;

"So we're a couple?" Jimin was still playing with her fingers that held onto his hand, trying to figure out if it was all real while he smiled by himself. "This feeling.. it's exhilarating."

She smiled too, looking at him. She never felt so in love in her life. Maybe because it was the first? She didn't know. She just feels so happy with Jimin. She didn't felt like this around anyone else. He lifted his eyes from their linked hands and found her eyes, "Do you feel the same?"

She nodded her head. "My heart is beating really fast right now."

"Good." Jimin held tighter onto her hand as they rode the bus together on the way home. "Let's keep it that way."

"Shouldn't we tell the others?" She asked him, wanting to share her happiness with the rest of the guys, knowing that they'll be as happy as she is right now.

But Jimin had other concerns. "I don't think we should yet." He replied. "Jungkook.. you know he likes you, right?"

"Jungkook and I are friends, Y/N." He added as if he was pleading her not to tell but in truth, Jimin just didn't want to be the one to hurt him. He loves her but he cannot face Jungkook and tell him that he loves her in his face.

"I know that." She imitated the frown on his face. She knew how Jungkook felt for her but she couldn't dictate her heart who to fall for because, obviously, she fell for Jimin. Not Jungkook.

"I promise to tell them myself once the timing is right." Jimin convinced her but she knows she's not happy with that. He gave her a gentle smile and she smiled back, pushing the worries past her as she gave him a nod.

And so, the two of them continued to see each other behind everyone's back. They both acted as if they're just friends when the gang is together. Eyes always on each other. They're glad no one has noticed yet. They would still short moments together in the kitchen when it's his turn to wash the dishes and she offers her help. They would whisper I love yous and I miss yous when no one is listening in. She would laugh like she hadn't laughed in a long time and he would always love the way she sounds.

"Y/N noona, I saved you a space on the couch!" Jungkook kicked Hoseok off the couch to make space for her when he saw her return from washing the dishes.

"Yah!" Hoseok shouted at the younger one but dropped it anyway when he saw the lovestruck look on his face and besides, it was his house so he just turned and muttered under his breath as he took a seat beside Jin, who was sitting quietly on the carpeted floor.

She looked taken aback at Jungkook's advances when he asked her to sit with him. Her gaze met Jimin's for a brief moment and as if giving his permission, Jimin nodded before turning his attention to Taehyung who was telling him a story about the new dog his mother surprised him with.

Movie night ended with her and Jimin staring at each other most of the time but they were still careful not to get caught. Jungkook was so happy to be close to her and to be able to get her attention tonight so he thought he could get more if he tried harder.

He hovered over her all night, telling her stories and asking about her opinion. Jimin listened to it all even when he's talking to someone else. He made sure to listen in to her and Jungkook's conversations.

"Noona, you smell like a guy. Do you use perfumes for men?" Jungkook pointed out, making Jimin smile since he knew he was talking about his perfume that's been stuck on her cause they spent the whole day together in her place.

She chuckled nervously, not knowing how to answer until Namjoon swooped in to flaunt his sexy brain wrinkles. "You know 97% of girls falls for a man because of the scent they have. It could be the perfume or just the natural scent but that's what I read somewhere."

"Or she just likes perfumes for men." Hoseok tossed in, getting himself chips.

"Or she has a boyfriend and they spent all day together so his scent rubbed off on her." Taehyung purposely threw in which made everyone stop and think for a moment. Jimin and Y/N froze up, avoiding each other's gazes so as to not look so obvious.

"Yeah right." Yoongi started and soon everyone was laughing. "Like Y/N could get a guy other than Jungkook to look at her."

"Y/N is pretty! She can have any guy she wants without a problem." Jungkook shyly defended her instead of diverting the attention away from the embarrassing moment of having his crush hear about his confession from the guys.

"Oh please, will you stop flirting and just ask Y/N out. We've all been friends since you were eight or something. You're all grown up now. Be a man and confess." Hoseok encouraged him.

Suddenly, Jimin was on the edge of his seat to see if Jungkook will really do it. Her hands felt cold as he looked at her quite seriously. Y/N couldn't take the tension so she faked a laugh and said, "Don't put ideas in his head. Jungkook can ask out any girl he wants and it's not me, right Kookie?"

She quickly found Jimin's eyes and retreated to get a glass of water. Namjoon noticed Jungkook's annoyance and made a comment, "Aw, Y/N! Did you have to be so mean? He actually defended you and you just crushed him like that? Look how upset he is."

"I'm not upset!" Jungkook said back, acting like he wasn't affected at all.

"Aww look how cute he is." Jin annoyed him further until he was running away from the older man.

"I hate anything with the word cute so I hate Jungkook now." Yoongi said as he emotionlessly sat himself beside Jimin. "What did I say anything bad?"

The lovers camouflaging their relief perfectly as they went along but they knew Taehyung knows something and he is right about it.

The budding relationship soon became a dark one as they both lost control over it. Jimin couldn't tell the guys and nor did you even though Taehyung advised that you should. Lying is not healthy. It ate away every positivity in their minds and so they dwelled on the negative thoughts. Y/N and Jimin began to fight more often after a year and a half of being together. By now, the lie has grown to a huge black hole that sucked all their hopes and energy until they just reached that point of mutual understanding.

"Fine. If you value your friendship to Jungkook so much more than me then maybe we should really break up." Y/N suggested without avoiding Jimin's gaze. They were both tired of fighting but no one wants to let go first until she did. "Go and join him. There's nothing left for us."

It killed Jimin to see her leave like that without a word from him but he didn't know what to tell her then. Y/N set a distance from him when they're all together. No one noticed and it made him feel even more lonelier because he couldn't tell anyone how he feels. The break up was bad for the both of you and even worse when Jimin heard that she agreed to date Jungkook, the same guy that led the both of them apart.

By then, he realized that it's really over. Jimin realized his mistake whenever he sees her happy with Jungkook. It took some time to get over her, but he never did get over her completely. The wedding invitation shattered his heart so badly that he cried before her wedding. He couldn't say anything since Jungkook is his friend and he trusts him a lot. He is one of the people whom Jungkook would trust his life with and he proved that by pledging to be a member of his gang.

Jimin sees her everyday and he sees how much Jungkook values her when he comes to his house. They usually hang around in his place just like before but now nobody can touch her. She's branded as Jungkook's wife and no one is allowed to be close to her even if we've known each other since we were young. That changed. They respected her with the same respect they've shown Jungkook.

Jungkook became known as an influential leader of an underground the mafia, Butterfly. The rival gangs feared him for being cold and ruthless to his enemies. Nobody wanted to be on the group's bad side. Soon, all the reputation, the violence, the authority got into his head – and he changed.

He began to have vices and one of them was seeing other women. He pays them and keeps them somewhere to spend the night with all the while telling Y/N that he's handling some important business matters. Everyone in the group knows about it but no one dared talk to Y/N about it. Even Jimin. He couldn't stand hurting you again with his words. The first time he did was too much already.

She became oblivious for another year until she finally realized that she was not the only woman Jungkook comes home to. She was angry, furious even as she waited for him to enter their bedroom and when he did, he didn't look like he was in the mood to fight but she still opened her mouth.

"So you decided to come home tonight?" She followed after him, nagging at him because she had every reason to be.

"I'm tired. Not now, Y/N." Jungkook shooed her away.

"No." She replied sternly. "We are going to talk about it now. We are going to talk about how you sleep with other women behind your wife's back!"

"Shut up!" Jungkook yelled. The smack on her face came so quickly. She lost strength from her knees and her feet gave out from under her. "Shut the fuck up, you bitch if you don't want me to beat the hell out of you. Didn't I tell you that I'm tired? What do you want me to do?!"

"Fucking cunt, so annoying." Jungkook uttered under his breath and then left the room, slamming the door behind him.

Y/N remained on the floor, unable to stand as the shock took over her whole body. Her face felt numb from the hit she took from Jungkook and then she began to sob, not because it stung but because she didn't know her own husband anymore. Jimin found her crying still on the floor after he heard the loud slamming of the door and saw Jungkook rushing out. Seeing her, he immediately ran beside her. He held her shoulder and arm, pulling her up but she couldn't help herself. She lifted her head and let everything out by crying more.

Jimin saw the mark on her face. He pulled her close and she gripped on his clothes so desperately while Jimin repeatedly muttered, "I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry. I'm here."

Her legs lost all feeling and she couldn't walk even the next day so Jimin took her to a doctor. He said it was the shock that she went under and the overwhelming fear that made her brain convert it into the physical manifestation of not being able to walk. She had to stay in a wheelchair for a week and, away from Jungkook in the meantime, so as to not trigger back her panic attacks.

The guys all decided that it was best for her to be away from Jungkook for awhile until she's ready to see him again. They were relieved that she was alright but couldn't decipher how Jungkook could hurt her like that and say those words to the girl who he swore to love for an eternity. Y/N's health was not affected at all and she was quickly progressing but Jimin knew that she's not fine at all. Once she goes back to Jungkook, she will break down again.

Jungkook will break her.
And he comes back to fix her again.

A soft melody from a music box had woken her up from her beautiful dream. In the dream, she was with Jimin and they were very happy but now that she has woken up, she couldn't find the man that he was with in the dream but she did find a small blue butterfly floating around her as if it was asking for her to follow it so she did. She left the bedroom and went down the stairs without taking her eyes off the little butterfly that resembled Jimin's tattoo a lot. She was sure it was the exact same one because she spent so many nights staring at it while he slept and she hugged his back.

The butterfly perched itself on the door. "You want me to open the door?"

She didn't know why she asked it, knowing that it will not be able to communicate to her yet she still did. Y/N felt so dense but it was a dream. It was her dream so it's fine. She touched the doorknob and opened the door, curious as to what's on the other side.

Jimin stood on the other side of the door, waiting. He gave her a huge smile and he opened his arms wide, "I missed you. Come here."

She jumped in his arms right away and felt the tears coming as well as her memories coming back. She remembered it all, the pain of losing Jimin right before her eyes to the moment her last breath left her and the look on Jungkook's face but she forgives him because now she can finally be with Jimin after a long time of waiting.
