Chapter Two"The main rules of the internet"art
Suzie and Charles looked around. They were in the computer about to go an internet adventure with their new friend I-Buddy.
"Woah" They said. "Are we inside the computer?"
I-Buddy turned to them and said "yes you are, and welcome to the internet my friends."
Floating in place he asked them to listen closely.
"I have some very important rules for you to follow" He said. "The internet can be a fun place, but you need to know how to be safe on the internet before the fun can begin."
Charles and Suzie nodded their heads. They wanted to have fun on the internet, so if they had to follow a few rules then so be it.
"Rule number one" Putting up one finger he said. "Never click on something if you don't know what it is."
Another finger up I-Buddy states, "rule number two, always keep track of your passwords and don't give them out to anyone that you do not trust completely."
"And rule number three" he stated calmly. "Never give out your personal information to any one on the internet."
The 4th graders agreed, these were very important rules to follow. Suzie raised her hand.
"What kind of information is personal information?" she asked.
"Well personal information is information about yourself" he said. "Like your age, birthday, address, family member's information.
I-Buddy goes up to the internet browser and puts in an address.
"Come with me my friends" he says. "Although the internet is a fun place it can also be sad and angry as well."
Suzie, Charlie, and I-Buddy go through the internet ending up at a website that most people call "Social Media.
"This my dear friends is what we call Social media" I-buddy states. "This is a good way to express yourself to the public, but not until your older; it is also a place where bad things can happen."
"What kind of bad things can happen?" asked Charles.
"Well why don't you guys follow me and I'll show an example of something bad that can happen." I-Buddy said.
