"cipher, open up"
I woke up to a deep voice and a constant knocking on my door, ugh. I didn't think they would come this early, a few more days would have been nice.
"cipher!"
I quickly shook my head and sat up, slipping on a pair of jeans
"I'm coming! "
After glancing at a sleeping pine tree I stood up and walked to the door. I opened it and saw a pale man in a suit carrying forms. He didn't look very pleased
" I see you got a pet. A hybrid at that. "
I clicked my tongue and leaned against the door frame
"indeed I did. Now give me the papers so I can go feed him "
He didn't look very happy with my response and stepped inside. Hey! You can't just come in here!... Nevermind, he can, its his job. He walked around the house, writing something down every so often, tutting each time. Finally he came to my bedroom. He glared at my little deer and shoved him with his foot
"hey, that's animal cruelty! And he's mine so back off"
The man smiled
"animal cruelty? Come on cipher, you killed more animals and humans than I can count "
Guilty! Still, I didn't pay for those ones.
" well let's see, you have absolutely nothing that you need for a hybrid, not even a cage! Read over these, sign them, and I will come back next week to check you have everything. I will take no excuses and if you don't meet my expectations I will take the deer and dispose of it. I'll be sending a vet tomorrow to trim its horns and microchip it. "
This guy talks way to much. I snatched the papers of him and grabbed a pen

Hybrids are to be kept with in reinforced steel cages at night and whenever the owner is not present.

I don't want to put him in a cage

Hybrids must stay to their proper diet of either plants meat or both, depending on the species

He can have a treat every now and again right?

Hybrids must wear a shock collar at all times, if one is seen with out a shock collar it will be killed

Geez.
Without reading anymore I signed the papers. Its taking care of a pet, how hard can it be? The man snorted as I handed him the signed forms
" I will see you next week, good day cipher "

After the man had left I sat down and started writing out a list of what I needed. I got pretty far before I heard shuffling and pinetree was at my side
" what are you doing?"
Awww! His tired voice is so cute! I wanna squeeze him. So I will! I picked him up and squeezed his little deer body to my chest
"your so cute!"
I seen his cheeks turn red and he struggled to get out of my grasp. So cute.
" n-no I'm not! And you never answered me "
That I did not! After setting him on the ground and patting his head I stood up and walked to the door
" that's for me to know and for you to find out! I'll be back soon, be good "
Without another word I teleported to the demon realm and started my search for a pet shop. It didn't take to long to find one. I walked into the rather large shop and was met with I giant bird. Oh wait its a griffon! Why didn't I come here for a pet? Oh well, I'm happy with pine tree anyway. After collecting a shock collar and a giant bag of non -rotting salad I made my way to the cages desk. A pet needed room to walk so you couldn't just buy one in store. I talked to the women there and gave her my address, the cage should arrive in 2 hours. I went straight back home after buying the other things. I forgot to feed pine tree! I'm such a bad owner. I snuck into the bedroom and I saw pinetree asleep on my bed. Bad pet!
" PINE TREE!!!"
He shot up like a bullet, staring at me with wide,blood shot eyes.
"what!?"
"I'm home!"
he groaned and looked at the bag I was holding. He stood up and came over to me.
"what's in the bag?"
This kid is so curious about everything
" curiosity killed the cat,pine tree. Or deer in this case "
He looked up and smirked
" but satisfaction brought it back "
I didn't think he knew the whole phrase. And he knew I didn't from the look on his face.
"Knock knock!"
oh my hades no way! I ran to the door and leaned against it
"whos there?"
Hehehe i love this guy. The door suddenly slammed open and I was squished against the wall
"the door!"
HAH! Its him. Tad strange. I pushed the door and punched him in the side. Only for my fist to land on a think metal bar
" no way... HAHA YOU ARE!"
There he was standing in my hall with a crap ton of steel bars under each arm and wearing the red uniform. A red hat showing the pet shops logo sat on his purple hair
" when did you start working in a pet shop, you weirdo?"
He chuckled and walked into my room where pinetree still stood, looking confused.
" since I stopped getting money from my parents "
Pfffffffftttt, idiot. I watched silently while he screwed the bars into a large corner of my bedroom. It didn't look like there would be much room soi stopped him before he got to the corner and made the wall disappear. There was a spare bedroom behind it. So now instead if caging a corner he just put the bars in a straight line.like replacing the wall with bars. Of course I got rid of the door, it wouldn't be a very good cage if he could just walk out. There was a door in the bars anyway. Pine tree looked very worried and he stepped closer to me
" what's that for?"
" that's your new room! "
There was no bed because that would be spoiling him.he would have to earn it. When tad was done I seen him take out a small gun type machine. He quickly lunged forward and grabbed pinetree by the neck. Before my pet could react tad had already shot the micro chip in his neck. Pine tree screamed and started struggling. Tad let him go straight away
" well he's only a kid so he doesn't really have horns to cut off. one less job for me! Anyway I have to get back. See ya bill!"
I waved and he snapped back to the pet Shop. Or at least I think he did. I looked at pine tree who was staring wearily.
