"Fred? Should we say who are parents are?" Roxanne asked.
"Sure," Said Fred. "Roxanne and I's dad is George Weasley. Our mother is Angelina Weasley, well her maiden name would've been Johnson."
"Okay," Said Rose. "Hugo and I's parents are Ron and Hermione Weasley."
"My parents are Bill and Fleur Weasley. My mothers maiden name was Fleur Delacour," said Victoire.
"I've never thought about before," said Lily suddenly.
"Thought about what, Lils?" Al asked confused.
"The mirror," Lily said.
"Lils, now is not the time to worry about how you look," Said James.
Lily said nothing and walked into the hall and came back with a small purple bag. She set the bag on the kitchen table and starting digging into it. After a while she pulled out a small silver mirror.
"Dad?" She said into the mirror.

The parents sat in the living room filled with worry and grief. No one noticed the silver mirror lying on the table.
"Dad?" The girls voice rang through the room and everyone fell silent.
"Lily?" Harry picked up the mirror, "Lily? Is that you? I can't see you."
"Yes. It's me," Said Lily, "and we're all here."
"Where exactly are you?" asked Harry.
"12 Grimmauld Place, 1995," Lily replied. "Why can't I see you?"
"I'm not sure. The mirror shouldn't even be working like this in the first place considering that we're twenty-five years in the past. But for some reason, we can still hear each other. Even though it defies all the laws of time-travel, but I'm grateful," Harry says.
"I'm sorry dad, I shouldn't have let James get us into this mess. I'm-"
"Lily it's not your fault. Give the mirror to James," said Harry. Lily handed the mirror to James and you could hear the siblings bickering in the background.
"Whenever anything happens, why must you always think that it's my fault?" Said James.
"Most of the time it's your fault," said Ginny through the future end of the mirrior, relieved to hear her childrens' voices.
"Is everyone all right?" Harry asks.
"Yeah," says James. "I'm surprised mum hasn't yelled at me yet."
"It's because I was too worried," said Ginny.
James gulped, "Was?"
"Yes now that I know where you are and that everyone is okay. So now, Harry, give me the mirror."
"Haha, James. You should see your face, it's hilarious!" Fred attempted to hold in a laugh, but failed miserably.
James braced himself, prepared for the worst. Even if he couldn't see through the mirror, that didn't make it any less gruesome.
"JAMES SIRIUS POTTER HOW COULD YOU DO SOMETHING SO... SO STUPID AND CARELESS, WHO KNOWS!? YOU'LL PROBABLY DESTROY OUR WHOLE FUTURE IF YOU LET ANYONE KNOW TOO MUCH ABOUT THE WAR. JAMES YOU-"
"Ginny calm down," said Harry's voice in the background.
"What's this fuss about?" They heard Hermione come into the room, "I'm doing research on time travel when I hear screaming-"
"Hey aunt 'Mione." Says James, interrupting his aunt mid-sentence.
"Is that James?" Hermione asks. "Where in the world?"
Ginny holds up the mirror and shows it to her.
"How is that-"
"We don't know," Ginny says.
Hermione grabbed the mirror and spoke into it very clearly, "James, give the mirror to Rose and Hugo."
James, in 1995, takes the mirror and hands it to his two cousins.
"Are you okay?" Hermione asks her children.
"Yeah mom. We're good," Says Rose. "But- how is this possible? The mirror shouldn't even work because the time isn't in sync, the mirror should just cease to exist."
"The mirror, can exist. But my guess is that this isn't a firm connection, the mirror is still in line with this time zone. But once we disconnect, we won't be able to communicate this way again," Hermione says all very quickly. "So, I need to know, where are you and who are you with?"
"1995. 12 Grimmauld Place. Remus, Sirius, and Gran." Replies Hugo.
"Give the mirror to your grandmother." Hermione says.
"Hello Hermione." Mrs. Weasley says.
"Hello Molly. I hope the kids are not interrupting anything important."
"Oh no," says Mrs. Weasley smiling even though Hermione cannot see her. "They're my grandchildren. They're always welcome. Even if it's twenty-five years early.
"Well that's reassuring," Hermione says, "So anyway, just to let you know, Fred and James are exactly like Fred and George. Perhaps worse. I trust Teddy has his medication. Hugo, Lily, Roxanne, you three are not allowed to anything too life threatening like joining the D.A. And Rose, watch over your cousins."
Hermione paused,"The connection is breaking. Kids, we will find you! And remember, do as your grandmother says!"
All of a sudden, a large crack appeared in the mirror, splitting the glass.
"I'm confused," said Lily. "What just happened to my mirror."
"I'm sorry Lily," says Rose. "But it's broken. The time energy permanently damaged it. Right now it's just a normal hand mirror."
"But, how did that happen? It shouldn't be possible to be able to talk to them like that, twenty-five years in the past," Roxanne spoke up.
Rose sighed, "I barely get it myself, but the mirror was locked onto our time. It was able to get on last call, even through time travel. But now, that lock is broken. They'll have to find us themselves."
"Wait, do does that mean we could be here for weeks, and we'd have been gone only a day at home! That's brilliant!" Victoire exclaimed.
"No it isn't, we're trapped here," said Rose. There was a moment of lingering silence before Sirius spoke up.
"What war?" Sirius asked. "I mean, Ginny said something about 'don't let anyone know too much about the war.'"
"Umm," Said Al. "Should we tell them?"
"Why not? We're trapped here." said James.
"Thanks to you," Roxanne muttered on the opposite side of the table.
"The war with Voldemort. He was defeated two weeks after I was born," Teddy tells three from 1995.
"Wait. He's dead? Does that mean I'm not on the run anymore?" Sirius asks.
"Yes...." says Victoire. Technically she didn't lie. Sirius was not on the run, but it still was not the whole truth.
Sirius was beaming though. He seemed to love the thought of not having to be trapped in Grimmauld Place forever.
"This is probably not the best question," said Remus suddenly. "But who's dead?"
