"So why do you want to book?" Henry asked and I sat down on the edge of his bed as he ran around trying to find the book in the piles of mess around him. I shrugged.

"Curiosity shall we say" I said and Henry paused to squint at me but then cheered having found the book. He handed it to me and I held it close. "Thanks" I smiled.

"You will look after it won't you?" he asked and I nodded.

"I'll guard it with my life"  I promised. Henry nodded pleased with my answer. But he looked a bit sad. "Hey, what's wrong?" I asked and he shrugged. "Go on, you can tell me anything, you know that" I said and nudged him a little.

"It's just that Emma didn't seem right when I talked to her earlier" he said and I nodded.

"Well you know what we have to do then, don't you?" I said and he shook his head. "You and me are going to see her and find out what's wrong" I said. He nodded a small smile playing at his lips. He grabbed his coat and back pack.

"Here, you can smuggle the book out him my rucksack" he said and I slipped the book into his bag. "Oh wait, how are we going to get out of the house?" he asked and I smiled.

"Leave that to me" I said and winked.

Henry and I went downstairs and where just about to open the door when Regina turned up. "And where do you think your going young man?" she asked and Henry looked a little panicked.

"Oh hey, we're just going out for ice-cream, do you want to join us?" I asked and she shook her head as Henry relaxed nodding.

"Er... thanks... I'm cooking at the moment" she said and walked away. Henry and I slipped out of the house and ran down the street laughing hysterically.

"Did you see her face?" Henry asked and I nodded.

"Totally, she looked like she had just been stung by a bee" I laughed and Henry roared.

"Come on, lets go and find Emma" I said and the two of us ran to the apartment Emma shared with Mary Margaret.

We reached the apartment and I knocked on the door. It opened moments later, a miserable looking Emma on the other side. "Hey, Emma. Everything okay? You sounded strange over the walkie" Henry said with a smile.

"We came to see if you where alright" I added.

"Oh, um... No, I'm okay. Just, um... Yesterday, when I tried to take you away, you were right. I can't take you out of Storybrooke. But I can't stay either" she said and my eyes widened as did Henry's.

"What?" Henry asked.

"Your leaving?" I asked and Emma nodded sadly letting us into the apartment.

"Yeah. I spoke to Regina, and we made a deal. I'm still going to be able to see you, just not... Every day" she said and Henry looked devastated.

"No! No, you can't trust her!" he cried and I placed a comforting hand on his shoulder but he shook it off.

"I have to. It's my only choice. It's what's best for you, Henry. Every time I fight her, someone else gets hurt" Emma said trying to explain herself without upsetting Henry any further.

"no, no, no! You're just scared. This happens to all heroes. It's just the low moment before you fight back" he said. Emma rolled her eyes a little and I tried to think what he could mean. Then I remembered that Henry thought Emma was the Savior, the person to break the curse on Storybrooke.

"Henry! This isn't a story. This is reality. And things have to change. You can't skip school, you can't run away, and... You can't believe in curses" she said and that really hurt him, I could tell.

"Y-you really don't believe?" he asked.

"I... This is how it has to be right now. I made a deal, and I used my superpower. She's telling the truth. She's going to take really good care of you"

"Superpower?" I asked.

"I can tell when people are lying to me" she explained and I nodded.

"Yes, but she wants you dead" Henry protested.

"Really, Henry? She can't want Emma dead..." I said but they both ignored me.

"Come on, Henry!" Emma said.

"You're the only one that can stop her" he said and he sounded like he was going to cry, he was only ten after all.

"Stop her from what? All she's ever done is fight for you. It just... Got out of hand. I'm sorry" Emma sighed. Henry sighed as well, he looked so much like Emma when he did that. He ran over and hugged her tightly and she hugged him back.

"Where did you get that?" he suddenly asked pulling away and pointing to a box on the counter top holding what looked like some kind of turnover.

"Regina gave it to me" Emma said.

"Apple!" Henry cried and Emma picked up the box inspecting the continence.

"So?"

"You can't eat that. It's poison" he said and Emma and I both frowned at each other.

"What? I asked.

"Don't you see? The deal... It was all a trick to get you to eat that, to get rid of the savior" he explained.

"Henry, come on. Why would she do that when I just told her I was going to go?" Emma asked.

"Because as long as you're alive, you're a threat to the curse"

"Henry, you've got to stop thinking like this" Emma sighed I walked over to Henry.

"Henry, come on, why don't I take for ice-cream, like we said. We can talk about this later" I offered but he shook his head frantically.

"But it's the truth! And you leaving isn't going to change that" he said to Emma.

"I'll prove it to you" she said and opened the box taking out the turnover.

"No!" Henry cried and snatched it from her hands.

"Henry... What are you doing?" Emma asked eyeing him. He dropped his backpack on the floor and looked at me harshly.

"I trust you with my book, you'll look after it?" he asked and I nodded.

"Of course but--" I began picking up the bag but he cut me off before I could finish.

"I'm sorry it had to come to this. You may not believe in the curse... Or in me. But I believe in you" he said to Emma before taking a large bite of the turn over. Nothing happened at all.

"See? You want to have some ice cream with that? And then we can go back to talking about..." Emma said but before she could finish her sentence Henry fell with a thud to the floor.

"Henry!" we both screamed at the same time and ran to his side.
