"Who?" I asked and Ruby snarled.

"Regina" she said and I shook my head.

"No, she's changed. She came to talk to me last night, she couldn't have" I protested but Emma had already run off to make the arrest. I sighed and ran after her, but she was gone to quickly.

"Did she spend all night with you?" Ruby asked.

"No..." I said hesitantly and Ruby nodded.

"I saw her going into Archie's place last night, it has to be her" Ruby said. I pulled a face but walked from the room and out into the street. I was so furious that they though this new Regina was capable of killing Archie. I didn't know what to do with myself. I wanted justice for Archie, but I didn't want to help in the arrest of an innocent person. I screamed a little and spun around on the spot clutching my head in frustration.

I need to vent some of my frustration so I marched with a furious expression to the docks. I sat down in front of an empty dock and began grumbling to myself. "This is so stupid..." I grumbled. I pulled my book out of my bag and tried desperately to get away from this world and hide in a new one.

"Is there any need to talk like that?" a familiar voice asked and I looked up to see Jefferson stood over me.

"Sometimes" I muttered and he cocked his head to one side with a smile.

"Fair enough" he chuckled and sat down next to me and I put my book away. "So what's wrong?" he asked and I shrugged.

"It's doesn't matter. But thanks for asking" I said and leaned my head on his shoulder. He flinched a little but relaxed after a second or two. " How's Grace?" I asked and he chuckled.

"Just as good as ever, thank you for bringing us back together" he said and I smiled staring out at the water.

"I promised that I would, didn't I?"

Killian's POV

I was sat on the deck of the ship waiting for Cora to come back from wherever she was. I groaned in boredom but fell silent when someone walked onto the peer. The Jolly Rodger was invisible and so was I when on it, thanks to Cora's spell. I walked over to the edge and looked at the person as they sat down on the wooden planks and began complain about something under their breath. As I looked harder I saw that it was a girl with light brown-blond hair that fell down her back. I couldn't see her face, it was hidden by her hair. I watched as she pulled out a book but before she could begin to read it, a man came up behind her and they began to talk. Closing her book she rested her head on the man's shoulder and looked strait through me. She was more beautiful than I had remembered, my memories doing her no justice.

To her I wasn't even here. That look she gave me. It hurt more than anything I had felt before. I stumbled back a little. The look Adaline gave me. My Adaline looked right through me. I wasn't there to her. And that tore me apart. I made to step off the ship to talk to her but she had already stood up and walked of with the man chatting away. My heart shattered.
