Before I could reach the compass Swan had lunged a sword at me. I fought her off with ease, I could see out of the corner of my eye Cora firing fire balls at Mulan while Snow aimed arrows. But she never fired them. Cora disappeared in a puff of purple smoke and as Swan's sword jutted out I leaned back and managed to catch the bag containing Aurora's heart. Hey, I may seem like a cold heartless pirate on one hand I am. After all Adaline was killed and then not killed, then killed and I guess not killed but I don't know. Seeing that happen to the person you love, it does things to a man. But I'm not completely heartless, like Aurora was right now. "I may be a pirate, But I hate the thought of a woman losing her heart, unless it's over me" I said and chucked the bag at Mulan who caught it easily. The fight resumed with Swan.

"I had no idea you had a soft side" she teased and I shot her a look. That side of me had been destroyed along with Adaline.

"I don't. I just like a fair fight" I retorted and she snorted. With a simple flourish of my sword I got Swan on her back and my sword and hook and her chest. "You know, there are more interesting activities to do with a woman on her back" I sneered. Adaline's face flashed through my mind. Of course in twenty nine years I have... had the company of other women, but none are like my Adaline and she's always on my mind, even when she's not the one in front of me.

"Why would I do that, when I'm winning" Swan grinned and I growled a little when I saw her pull the compass out from the sand beneath her. Suddenly she gets up and punches me in the face. My vision blurs before the world goes dark.

"Killian?" it's Adaline. She's running towards me, she looks beautiful in her long white dress and her hair pinned up. I grimace. I love her, I know I do. But I had no idea what she would think of my new persona. She knew a lieutenant in the royal navy, not this pirate that I had become. She didn't seem to notice my change in appearance and she ran into me with a tight hug. I buried my head in her hair and breathed in her light scented perfume, after all it might be the last time I see her. She buried her head in my leather collar but feeling the new material she pulled away slowly and looked up at me. "I missed you" I muttered and she looked at me carefully. "What happened to you?" she breathed and I shook my head.

"Went to Neverland on the kings orders. Liam died. We became pirates. It's a lot more complicated that it seems" I explained and she pulled a face.

"Oh" she muttered.

"I understand if you no longer love me" I said and she shook her head a hurt look in her eyes.

"No!" she said her voice growing louder "Don't you dare ever think that!" she ordered and tear looked fresh in her eyes. "Promise me that you will never say or think that again" she said.

"I promise, I promise" I said, truth be told I was a little freaked out. I had seen Adaline cry before but not like this. "Are you alright?" I asked and she looked up at me tears streaming down her cheeks.

"You left, and when we where told Liam had died, I though you were as well. I cried for days. My mother has died of an illness and my father is trying to marry me off so that he can claw back his lost status and money. I have a single ring left from my mother and I hate my father. Now your back and... its all just been so much to deal with" she bawled. I had no idea what to do, so I pulled her close and let her cry.

"Come with me" I said when she had stopped shaking. She looked up at me and frowned.

"What?" she asked.

"Leave. Join me on the sea. Become a pirate and run away with me" I said and I nodded, this was what I had to do.

"But--" she began and my heart was wavering at the thought she might leave me.

"Do you want to marry a stranger?" I asked and she shook her head. "Do you like your father?" again she shook her head. "Your mother is dead, so is there anything left for you here?" a shake of the head. "Do you love me?" I asked and she nodded,

"Of course I do"

"Then come with me" I said. She thought about it. She looked behind her and I glanced as well to see people gathering to look at the ship, they knew it belonged to pirates.

" Will it be dangerous?" she asked hesitantly looking back to me and I nodded.

"Of course, but I promise to look after you" I said she smiled and nodded.

"I'll come. Your right, there is nothing left for me apart from you and I want to be with you" she said before streaking up and kissing me. I kissed back before grabbing her hand and pulling her to the ship.

"Lets go on an adventure" I grin and she laughs, something I've missed.
