Killian's POV
I peered through my telescope at the island in the far distance when I senced someone come to my side. I knew it was Cora. I closed my telescope and put into my jacket pocket "Hello, Hook" she said and I glanced down at my left side where my hook rested against my leg. I know Adaline had only seen it once and I wondered what she would think of it if she ever saw it again. "Hello, Cora. You told me you had something important you needed to show me" I said and she nodded with a smile as I looked at her. She held up a small vile filled with a glittering brown powder "Sparkly dirt. Wonderful" I sighed. How was that going to help me?
"Just the remains of a magical wardrobe that can travel between worlds" she said and put it away.
"Is there enough to get us to where we need to go?" I asked my interest peeking.
"Not quite. But it's a start" she said and I rolled my eyes. Great.
"We're almost ready to set sail. What's our port of destination?" I asked glancing at the Jolly Rodger that was just off shore in the water. Cora grinned "Storybrooke" she said and I frowned.
"Hm, curious name. Is that where..." I began but she cut me off.
"She is. And so is he" she said and I smirked.
"Excellent. You'll be able to see your daughter, and I can skin myself a crocodile" I said and turned back to the water. 'I will get revenge for what he did to you my love' I thought hopping that wherever Adaline was, she would know what I was doing. For her.

Adaline's POV
I didn't know what I should do now: Jefferson had gone to spend the day with Grace, David was with Henry and Ruby. I ended up at home loud music playing and dancing around the kitchen cooking in hope that the sound and smells would wash away my feelings for a while. I was just making the dough for my fourth loaf of bread, one of my favorite songs from this world was playing and I was singing along loudly when a knock came at the front door. I dusted the flour off my hands and turned the music down before going to answer the door. As I opened it I saw Henry standing on the other side off the door. "Hey Henry, what's up?" I asked and he grinned.
"Nothing, well apart from my mum and Mary Margarete are still missing. But David got me a horse, do you want to come and see?" he asked and I grinned. I loved horses, even if I got to spend little time with them on a ship.
"Sure, come in for a moment while I finish up my cooking" I said and he nodded coming into the house shutting the door behind him.
"Smells good" he said breathing in deeply "What are you making?" he asked.
"Bread and cupcakes" I said "Do you want some?" I asked and he nodded eagerly. I offered him the plate of perfectly iced cupcakes.
Henry took one and sat on one of the bar stools to eat it while I finished my bread. I chuckled when he got some of the icing on the tip of his nose and wiped it away with the sleeve of his jacket. "So how come you have a horse?" I asked.
"I wanted to be a knight" he said and I laughed.
"You going to need more than a horse to become a knight" I said and he frowned.
"Like what?" he asked and I cocked my head to the side thinking as I kneaded the bread dough in front of me.
"Well you need a sword" I said.
"I've sort of got one" he said and paused in the demolition of his cupcake and reached into his bag to pull out a wooden toy sword.
"That's a good start" I said. "What else... You need a cause to fight for" I said.
"Rescuing my mum and Mary Margaret" he said and I nodded in agreement.
"That's a good one. You need a girl to fall in love with" I said thinking about what a knight might have. A steed, a sword, a cause and a girl.
"Oh... I haven't got one of those" he said and thought about it. "What about you?" he asked and I laughed shaking my head.
"Sorry, Kid. I'm taken. Besides, I might be a little bit old for you" I said. "What about someone to protect rather than a girl?" I said and Henry nodded.
"Um... can I say all of my family?" he asked.
"Sure, that's something always worth fighting for" I smiled. I had finished with the dough and dropped it into a bowl to let it rise and washed the flour off my hands. "So you must be a knight if you have all of that" I said and Henry grinned finishing off his cupcake. "Let me just go and get changed then we can go and see your noble steed, okay" I said.
"Okay" Henry replied and pulled his book out of his bag and began to read it. I smiled to myself and took my apron off leaving it on the side before dashing up stairs to.
As I changed I could hear the music playing downstairs and I couldn't help but sing along. When I got back down I found Henry laughing to himself. "What's so funny?" I asked.
"I could hear you singing" he said.
"And why is that funny?" I asked and he shrugged.
"I don't know, it just was. Your voice is still amazing by the way" he said and I smiled.
"Thanks, now come on. Lets she your horse" I said and he nodded jumping down from the stool.
We both headed out to the stables and a while later we where stood in a stable brushing down a handsome horse. "Gramps said that I can ride him soon, but that he has to tell me when. How will I know?" he asked and I shrugged.
"I don't know. I love horses, but I don't know as much about them as I would like" I said. I stroked the horse's soft mane but he suddenly spooked. He bucked and I was thrown back against the wall. Henry fell off the stool he was stood on with a shout. I tried to reach for the horse but it bolted and Henry and I where left. But as we looked up there was a guy, clearly unwell, he was all pale and sickly looking.

Killian's POV
I lay on the floor, just as Cora's plan was. "Please help me" I whimpered pathetically. This was the worst ruse ever, but if that helped Cora and I to get the magic that we needed to get to this... Storybrooke... then it would have to do.
"It's okay, your safe now, we won't hurt you" said a dark haired woman, names Snow white. Cora had told me all their names before the plan was put into action.
"Thank you, thank you" I said.
The four women who 'saved' me had pulled from the floor and sat me down at a table. They muttered together for a moment before the blond one, Emma, handed me a cup of water. "I can't thank you enough for your kindness. Fortune, it seems, has seen fit to show me favor" I said.
"An island full of corpses. You're the only one to escape. How exactly did that happen?" Emma asked sitting down.
"She attacked at night – slaughtered everyone in one fell swoop. When she started ripping out people's hearts, I hid under the bodies of those who had already been killed. Pretended to be dead myself. Mercifully, the ruse worked" I lied smoothly.
"So much for fortune favoring the brave" she replied with a raise of a brow.
"It was all I could do to survive" I protested.
"I'm going to let you in on a little secret. I'm pretty good at knowing when someone is lying to me" she said leaning in closer, but I didn't move.
"I'm telling you the truth" I said.
"We should leave here in case Cora decides to come back" the girl who had long dark hair, and I knew to be named Mulan from stories, said.
"We should start searching for a new portal back to Storybrooke. I only got about five minutes with my husband, not to mention my grandson" Snow White said.
"You have a grandson?" I said raising an eyebrow, she was far to young to have a grandson. Cora never mentioned that.
"Long story" she replied with a shrug.
"Well, I know this land well. I can guide you" I offered. Suddenly Emma grabbed a dagger and held it against my neck. I couldn't help but gulp a little.
"You're not going to guide us anywhere, until you tell us who you really are" she snapped.
