"Adaline, who's that you've found!" a voice called from the shore and I broke the kiss I shared with Killian and turned to see Pan and the Lost Boys on the shore line, Dreamshade dipped arrows pointed at us. The crew of the Jolly Rodger had now pulled out swords and now stood in the water around Killian and I protecting us. Killian pulled me into his side and held me close. I place my free hand on Killian's chest and tried my best to say calm. "It's alright, Peter!" I called back "They won't hurt us!"

"Right" he called back sarcastically before saying something to the boys that I couldn't hear from were we where. The Lost Boys suddenly began charging at us and I shivered hiding into Killian knowing the onslaught that would happen.

"Adaline, I promise to to lose you again" he said and shoved me behind him. I fell back in the water getting even more soaked. The Lost Boys began to fight the crew of the ship, but the boys where not skilled or trained fighters and where easily knocked down. Pan himself went for Killian. I had never seen Pan fight someone himself, he always got the boys to do it.

"You're the one who has her heart" Pan growled as he swung at Killian with his sword and Killian blocked it easily.

"Watch out their weapons are poisoned with Dreamshade!" I screamed and the crew seemed to fight harder as did Killian. There was nothing I could do to help, no matter how much I wanted to.

"So what if I am?" Killian growled as he and Pan continued to fight.

"It should belong to me" Pan retorted and Killian swung his sword and Pan ducked only just missing it, splashing water everywhere.

"Peter, I'm sorry, but my heart will never belong to you" I said and he paused the fight to look at me. In that pause Killian managed to knock Pan's sword from his hand and into the watery depths of the ocean. It would be irretrievable now. The Lost boys stopped fighting seeing their leader had lost his own fight.

"Go boys" Pan said and they all ran out of the water and into the trees.

"Crew" Killian said and they paused for a moment but reluctantly left, going back the the ship.

"Why would she want to be with a pirate, Hook?" Pan asked and Killian rolled his eyes.

"I ask myself that question as well, now leave her alone" he said. I stepped forwards and Pan looked at me with a hurt expression.

"Why not me?" he asked and I shook my head.

"Peter, you can't fight true love" I said and tried to give him an apologetic look but he wouldn't take it. In one swift movement he had grabbed Killian's sword, pushed him to one side a driven the sword through my stomach. Killian jumped up and immediately ran at Pan, but he vanished in a puff of purple smoke. I stood there holding my stomach and shivering a little as the blood trickled out of my body for the second time.

"Killian..." I breathed and he rushed over to me and caught me before I fell. We fell together and he held me in the water. "Looks like I'm going to have to say goodbye again" I said and tried to laugh but ended up coughing instead. I could see the blue water turning a deep red with the blood. Killian was crying already.

"No, I won't let you go again" he said and I shook my head.

"Your going to have to, my love" I said and smiled. "Maybe the magic will work again and I shall live, and you will find me, like you promised. Remember?" I asked and he nodded "When I was here, I spent everyday looking at the horizon" I said and he smiled.

"I remember, of course I do" he said "But I can't let you go again, the pain was unbearable" he said.

"And with me, but our song kept me strong" I said and he smiled remembering. "I never got to ask, did you find a new love like I asked you to?" I asked and Killian shook his head"

"No, of course not" he said and I rolled my eyes, "And I won't this time either" he said and I nodded slowly.

"If... if... I don't die again..." I huffed running out of breath to finish my sentence.

"I'll come for you, and you know where to look for me. Because Captain Hook always keeps his word" he said and I nodded. "You haven't changed at all" he whispered and I smiled sadly.

"This is Neverland, you know what happens here" I said. "I love you, Killian" I said and he smiled.

"I love you too, Adaline" he said and with that, I close my eyes on him for the second time.

Killian's POV

I held Adaline close, not wanting her to leave again. But I closed my eyes just for a second, and when I opened them again, my arms where empty. So, she was alive again if that is how it worked. She was killed, she vanished to another realm, and was alive there. This time, if the same thing happened, she would be in another realm, but alive. And this time I would find her, and I would keep her alive with me.
