The moment afternoon school bell went off, the students rushed forward to the main gate like a horde of zombies looking for fresh meat. As an elementary kid, Lili had short hair and wore a Anime-theme T-shirt with basketball shorts to go with it.

"Mommy!" She called out, as she ran towards her mom's car in the parking lot with open arms.

"Hey honey!" Lili's mom took hold of her and lifted her up into the air. "How did you do on your science test toady?"

"I got an 90!"

"Good job! That's my girl!" her mom kissed her on the noes.

"Alright, let's go now. Come on!" her mom gestured for her to get in the car. "And since you got an A today, we are going to have pizza dinner!"

"Yay!" Lili cheered. "I want pizza hut!"

"No problem!" Lili's mom said as she slipped into the driver seat.

"PIZZA HUT! PIZZA HUT!" Lili's sister screamed and clapped in the back.

"Shhh! Stay quiet, we are going to get there soon alright?" Lili's mom smiled.

Lili's mom was responded with a series of cheers from the back seat, she shook her head with a smile and began to drive.

Once they have gotten pass the busy intersection of the school road, they finally hit the high way. And once past that, they found themselves just a turn of a block away from the destination.

Red light.

"OH I CANT WAIT TO GET PINEAPPLE PIZZA!" Lili screamed.

"PINEAPPLE PINEAPPLE!" Her sister screamed after her.

"You two shush!" Lili's mom patience was wearing out. 

"Mommy..." Lili raised her voice again.

"Shush!..."

"It's green light." 

"PINEEEEAPLLLEEEEEEEEEE!!!" Lili sister's voice drowned out her voice.

"It's yellow now..."

"JUST BE QUIET!" after yelling Lili's mom turned her attention back to the front again, she quickly realized she screwed up. And accompanied with the urging horns from drivers behind, Lili's mom hit the gas at once.

Red light.

It happened all too fast, an opposite lane car attempted to make a right turn, but from the moment Lili mom's car made the turn, everything was out of control. The angle, the velocity, the scream, and it all ended with a...

"HUEHUEHUEhuehuehue...." Lili's eyes flew open as she found herself hyperventilating alone in the darkness. She sat up from her bed at once and clutched her heart with a hand.

"Itsjustanightmare...Itsjustanightmare...Itsjustanightmare..." Lili told herself in a cautious voice. Then stopped to let some breath out.

"Ha..."

"Ha..."

"Ha..."  

Slowly, Lili got up and walked over to the corner of the room and proceeded to curling up into a ball. 

"Man...Corners are great..."

Lili thought as she buried her head.
