[17] I see what happened now...
Morning came.
The horror I experienced that night cleaning...
Is not to be mentioned...
"AHHH!!!" Isa made a loud yawn, as she stretched upwards her hand, blinked once, then twice before sitting up from the couch. And for a moment, she just looked around the house and spoke nothing, and by the time she finally spoke up, there was a hint of shock in her voice.
"You...You did all this fresh meat?"
"Yep..." I said, as I tried to sit up from my chair, but miserably failed at the first attempt.
"Not bad for a fresh meat..." She nodded slightly in acknowledgement at my work. "Do you still remember what happened yesterday?"
"No..." I replied honestly, the memory before my blackout just wasn't coming back for some reason.
"Hmph." Isa sneered, as she leaned her back against the counter. "I never thought I would ever see you again. But it seems you were brought back to life as a demon."
"How do you know?" I said with slight surprise.
"I fought countless before in the arena. I know their appearance, their abilities." Isa paused for a moment. "But you are the first one I see dumb enough to fight during the day time."
"Huh..."
"The power of the demon is greatly reduced during the day time. You would have died again back there."
Her words stuck to me like a layer of frost on my skin.
"You were lucky your friend was there, and brought you to my place. Or else you be cookin in hell like roast meat."
"Wait, what happened to..."
"You mean that hooligan girl?" Isa let out a sneer. "Ran faster than a Will, but was the right move for her, or else she would be cooked meat now."
Isa leaned back from her table and walked up to me again, then without warning she landed another straight punch onto my gut. Which caused me to double over onto the floor, while feeling that burning sensation across my stomach.
"That's sir for you. Next time I remind you, you will be cooked meat." Isa said, as she turned her back on me and walked over to the fridge.
"I heard about your situation from your friend." She said as she fumbled through the fridge. "A new comer..." she paused for a seconds and looked back at me and stared at me intensely.
I gulped.
And after what felt like an eternity, she went back to fumbling her fridge again. And once she seemed to get frustrated of not finding what she wanted, she slammed closed the freezer door and turned back to me again.
"Fresh meat." She said with a serious tone. "I need you to run an errand for me. Get me 10 bottles of Vodka down at the liquor store." She said, as she threw me her Y-Phone, and me barely reacting and catching it.
"But...But I don't know where it is!" I responded.
"Ask you dumb meat!" she yelled with an agitated voice. "If you are not back in an hour, be ready to become barbecue meat!"
"Yes! Yes sir!" I yelled as I scrambled to my feet and for some reason I found myself saluting.
"Why are you still standing? GET MOVING!"
And just like that, I ran to the door, and kept on running non-stop. And by the time I turned around again, I found myself on the side walk, right on the edge of the junkyard.
"Yo dude. What's up?" Came a familiar voice.
I looked the owner of the voice.
"What are you doing over there?" Lili asked again.
"Eeee..." My brain exe stopped working for a moment. "Do you know where the nearest liquor shop is?"
Q: What kind of meat do you think you are? :^)
