I am Yours-Lauren Daigle.

I see you fingerprints,
The work of your hands
It's all in your hands.

Peter listened to the man behind him sharpen his knife.

"If you want your life, all you have to do is say Aslan is not real." He said for the billionth time, Peter shook his head. Never, he would never deny the everlasting king, not in a million years.

I see the evidence
Leaving nothing to chance
The world's in your hands
So I rest in your promises
Now I am sure of this
I'm yours.

"King Peter, you are an idiot, think of your siblings, hmm? What about them?"

Peter blinked back unwanted tears. The man chuckled and held his dagger close to Peter's stomach.

"Never." Peter gasped out, the man slapped his face.

Let the waters rise
I will stand as the oceans roar
Let the earth shake beneath me
Let the mountains fall
You are God over the storm
And I am yours.

Peter blinked numbly.

Aslan, let your will be done. Peter silently prayed as the man talked about nothing Peter cared about.

"So, King Peter, what will the choice be?"

Peter looked up at the man, his face was a mixture of anger and confusion.

"If it involves saying Aslan is a fairytale... I will not say so." Peter said stubbornly.

The man shook his head.

"Such a sad reason to waste a perfectly good life.

I here the voice of love
Calling me home
To where I belong
It cripples every fear
And the ones who will kneel
Will walk away healed

Edmund rode quickly through the forest, as fast as Philip would go. Stinging tears blinded his vision.

"I hope we're not too late." He muttered as he rode. He looked around frantically.

So I rest in your promises
Now I am sure of this
I'm yours

Peter trembled slightly but didn't say anything as the man trailed the knife down Peter's chest.

"Such a waste." The man repeated.

"It isn't." Peter managed to gasp out.

The man looked in surprise at Peter, he slapped the king again.

No power strong enough
To separate me from your love
I'm yours

"Just say it, it's only four words."

Peter's cheek stung and his eyes were filled with tears.

"No, His love is far greater than any threat you may give. If that means my life, so be it."

Peter felt the man stiffen and clutch the dagger tighter.

I'll give you one more chance." He muttered.

So let the waters rise
I will stand as the oceans roar
Let the earth shake beneath me
Let the mountains fall
You are God over the storm
And I am yours

"No." Was Peter's soft answer. He gasped in pain as the dagger went into his stomach.

Even the thunder and wind obey
At the command of my father, father
I set my feet upon your mighty name
So let the rain fall harder, harder

Edmund rode faster than he had ever before, desperate to find his older brother.

"Aslan, help me find him." He whispered to the wind and rain.

"Go back,"

Edmund stopped Philip as Aslan's voice rang through his mind.

He looked back to see someone running away from a clearing, signaling to the others to catch him he rode to the clearing, alone.

What he saw made tears well in his eyes as he ran to his dying older brother.

So take my everything
My flesh and blood
I lay me down on the alter, alter

Peter's vision was blurred and hazy. The colors seemed to blend together. He was aware of someone cradling his head.

"Oh Peter." A soft whisper came into his ears. He recognized it as Edmund's voice.

I am forever covered in your love
So let the rain fall

Edmund ran and cradled Peter's head in his hands.

No, no, no, no. This can't be happening.

"Peter, don't leave me here. I know Aslan is here with us, but, oh Pete!" Edmund sobbed into Peter's golden hair.

"Tell, the girls, I l-love them." Peter whispered weakly.

Edmund nodded through his tears.

"Aslan... h-he said it is a t-t-test for you and the girls. Finish strong." Peter said, even weaker.

"Alright, I will do that." Edmund watched helplessly was Peter stopped breathing. Edmund clutched Peter's body close to him.

So let the waters rise
I will stand as the oceans roar
Let the earth shake beneath me
Lett the mountains fall
You are God over the storm
And I am yours

Edmund held Lucy tightly as she sobbed during Peter's funeral.

One arm was in a hug and the other was around Susan.

"Shhh, It'll be fine, before Peter died he said that Aslan said it was just a test. He told me to finish strong. Can you do that, Lucy?"

The younger queen nodded.

Let the waters rise
I will stand as the oceans roar
Let the earth shake beneath me
Let the mountains fall
You are God over the storm
And I am yours

Peter kneeled before Aslan as he entered the golden gates.

"Well done, my child." Aslan whispered to Peter.

"Thank you." Peter said humbly, hugging the great lion.

You are God over the storm and I am yours
