PERSONALITY
Jangmi is sweet like sugar, soft and caring, and many tend to be drawn to her because of it. She's entirely without malice, really, and is one of the most gullible people on earth as well, always believing what she's told. It's easy to get along with Jangmi, who refuses to change herself for anything—even the kpop industry.

BACKGROUND

Jangmi was born and raised in Seoul, the only daughter of an executive at an entertainment company. She's the youngest sibling, following two older brothers who made it very clear growing up that they would do anything to protect Jangmi. She enjoyed being the baby of the family, though she didn't always enjoy the protective nature of her brothers.
As a kid, Jangmi loved to sing and put on silly little plays for her family. They indulged her (youngest sibling privilege) and even arranged for her to go to a high school with a strong arts focus once it became obvious that her interest in music wasn't just a childish dream.
Jangmi thrived in high school. Being a sweetheart, a social butterfly, and very pretty, she was well-liked by her classmates and got a lot of attention. She had her first boyfriend at fourteen, and her first kiss not long after. It would be easy to say that Jangmi kind of became "addicted" to kisses, after that—when she and that boyfriend broke up after a few months, she made out with a girl in her class behind a pillar at lunchtime, then a cute boy at a class party... and on. She had a few boyfriends or girlfriends here and there, when she liked someone enough to seek out more, but none of the relationships lasted—not that any of them ended particularly badly, and she's even friends with a lot of her exes.
After high school, Jangmi attended SNU to study statistics, where she did mostly focus on her studies, though her habit of occasional casual dating and random makeouts continued. She's actually in the last semester of university now, though Jangmi decided it was time to get started on that music career she's always wanted, and tried out for HQ.
