Hello, are you still there? I haven't heard from you in a while. I've met someone. I just thought you should know that, he's a really great guy, much like I picture you. I hope that you're okay and that this letter finds you well, but I still don't know where to find you. And these letters are kind of a moot point if we continue, won't you tell me where you are? I've missed you, but I think I'm finally getting over it. I'm settling in, I've found a job, life is moving on. Maybe one day we'll see each other again, one day soon I hope.

Please don't stop! I really enjoy reading your letters! Please, I just needed some time to be alone, you understand. Fran, I've missed you horribly and you can imagine my shock at finding your letter under the coffee table, all scrunched up. I'm shy, you see, I probably look very different from the last time you saw me. But you should know that I'm a musician now, I play in a band, maybe you would recognize us if you heard us, I'm not so sure. All I know is that you're a very nice touch to my life, please don't leave, please don't stop writing. Even if you have met someone new, I thought we had something going!

Yes! But how did you know? His name is Elmo Lewis and he plays with the The Rolling Stones, I don't know if you've heard of them, but they're fantastic! Elmo is very nice, and he plays some of the best guitar I've ever heard. He's been quite distant lately, though, so I don't know. I was digging around yesterday and I found a picture of us as kids, I hope you enjoy it as I've enclosed it with this letter. I guess we could still write one another, that would be fine for now. So you're a musician? Who do you play for? If you're recording, maybe you're recording at the same studio as The Stones! We should meet up and have lunch together, that would be fun. I could introduce you to the boys, they're a great lot and they've been nice to me, so, how about it?

I've heard of the Rolling Stones, they're quite popular nowadays, have you heard any of their songs? Maybe I'll give you one of their albums and you can listen to their sound, I'm sure you'll enjoy it alot. I don't know if we can meet, you see I'll be traveling for a while and I don't really know when I'm going to be back.

Nowadays it's just me. The Stones have left to tour the world, they've gotten quite big out there. They're very popular. I write Brian almost everyday but I only get responses every now and then. I live by myself now, I've found a flat and I've found a job that I enjoy. I've been biding my time, waiting for them to come back, although I know now that things won't be the same, things can't be the same after months of lost contact. Maybe when they come back our friendship will resume or maybe it will die away, I don't know. I'm quite excited to finally see Brian, if he remembers about me. If he still wants to see me.
I'm thinking this as I walk down the street. Today I have a mission. I'm going to buy a record player, and I'm going to buy an album by The Rolling Stones. The first thing I see as I enter the record store, though, is something that makes me stop so suddenly an old lady behind me bumps into my shoulder.
