Remus packed quickly and we went on our way to Hogwarts. We appared to Hogsmeade, the village not far away from Hogwarts. The village was nothing like in my memories. There were only a few people outside and the shops weren't full of people. The brave people outside looked terrified like the death himself could be behind every corner. But not gonna lie, it wasn't safe outside.
We walked to the edge of the village and saw Hogwarts in the distance. There was a large walkway which we knew went to the train station and from there to Hogwarts. We started our walk chatting about everything and nothing. I thought it was nice to talk about things even when the things didn't matter.
As an example, we talked about books we found amazing, but only Remus and I wanted to join that conversitation. Remus told me about a muggle book called The shining. "It's written by Stephen King. Mr. King is amazing storyteller they say. I read the book, it was great!" he said. I nodded. "I guess I will read it sometime" I said. "As you should" he said.
"Have you read Hogwarts: the history?" I asked. "I have actually, have you?" he asked. "Yeah" I said. We talked for a long time. Sirius and Remus were holding hands. We got to the train station and there we stopped. "I have so many good memories from here" James said. We all agreed. "Here Hagrid took us to the boats" Remus said. "It was amazing" I said. "It was" Sirius said.
Eventually we kept walking. The walk felt like forever, but finally we were at the gate of Hogwarts. I stepped closer to open the gate. I put my hand on it and pulled. Locked.
"It's locked" I told the others. "Obivously" Remus said. I sighed. I pointed my wand at it. "Alohomora" I said casting the spell to open the gate. It didn't work. "God damn it Albus! You could have made breaking in a little easier!" I said frustated. James and Sirius snorted. "Do you know what that sounds like?" Sirius asked. "I do. Now shut up" I said.
"Don't worry Regulus! I have a spell we can try" Remus said. "Go on" I said. "So you have read Hogwarts: the history, right?" he asked. I nodded. "Try to remeber page 509 about the gate" Remus said. So I did. "Wait... You're joking" I muttered staring into the void. "We have to" he said.
"What is going on?" James asked. "Remus here thinks that we have to get someone from inside the castle to open the door for us" I said. "Ohh" James said. "I know!" Sirius said happily. "Tell then" Remus said. "Andromenda's daughter! Nymfadora!" Sirius said. "Sirius! You're a genious!" I said. Andromeda was one of our many cousins and she was friends with Sirius. So Andromeda's daughter, Nymfadora, had became pretty close with Sirius and Regulus.
"I don't understand how I didn't come up with that!" I laughed. "Me neither" Sirius giggled. "Are you going to send patronous to hwr someday or...?" James asked. "Oh yeah. sorry" I said and sent a patronus to her asking if she could be kind enough to come open the gate.
"Poor girl, she has just started Hogwarts and we're already asking her to save the world" James said. "Could be worse, I mean at least we aren't inviting her whit us" Remus said. "Andromeda would never forgive me" Sirius said. "Nor I" I said.
We waited for her until she came. She opened the gate and smiled at us. "Uncle Sirius! Uncle Regulus! What are you doing here?" she asked. "We are here to save the world, Dora. But it's a secret, so don't tell anyone" Sirius said. He put his hand infront of his mouth one finger pointing to the sky as a sing of silence. "I am not a 5 year old! I can keep a secret!" she giggled. "Great then" Sirius said.
We then started to walk towards the castle, but we let her go away before entering, because she couldn't be seen with us. "Sence when have you been so good with kids?" I heard Remus ask Sirius. I looked at them and saw Sirius grinning. "What do you mean? I have always been" Sirius said. Remus kissed Sirius's nose. "Sure" he said.
"Any place to hide coming in mind?" I asked. "Yeah! I'll lead the way. It's called the room of requirements. It basically gives anything you wish for, expect food" James said. So we followed him. We got to a wall. James then told us to stop and started walking infront of the wall. After he had walked three times, in the wall came a door. He opened it and led us into the room.
There were big table and beds. It had a small room in the corner which I think is the toilet. It had bookself in one corner. "This is amazing!" I said. "I know right" James said. We all chose our beds and unpacked our stuff. We then started making our plan.
We thought where all the Horcuxes could be and with what we could break them. We thought that one Horcux had to be in the room of requirements. We didn't know a lot places that coud be somehow important to Voldemort, but at least we tried. Tomorrow would be another day to think.
