"Let's recap all the things this new 'Superhero' has done lately shall we?" Jim gives Jill a look while making air quotes. "She left molds of ice all over New York on her birthday, destroyed half of central park trying to fight Doom, ditches a concert people paid good money for, went on a wild motor cycle ride, dated a maniac, disturbed the proceedings of a hospital and is now at this moment attracting super villains to the hospital"

Jill gets up off her seats and lifts her chair over her head, Jim cries in fear and runs out of the camera sight with Jill growling hot on his heels.

Loki blasts the TV screen.

"Jeez, even Jameson isn't that tough on me" Spiderman says.

A loud noise distracts everyone coming from outside.

"Freeze!" Nick fury cmmands from the helicarrier hovering above the hospital. "And I'm not talking to the superhero Freeze"

Everything else next happened in a flash.

With Vincent out for the count Iron Fist stepped forward and blasted his glowing iron-fist light to keep me visible. Johnny lights up the room and showered Loki down with a torrent blast of fire that set some hospital equipment ablaze.

"David, Sara!" Susan cried.

The two dived under my hospital bed and Susan cover me and them with her force field just as some of Johnny's flames ricochets off the green barrier Loki brought up to block himself.

Magneto turns and faces the Helicarrier, he stretches out his arms and you could see the concentration etched on his features as he waves his hands down and brings down the Helicarrier crashing down to the ground over the people piled outside the hospital.

"No!" I scream. I watch Nick and several other agents abandons ship as it crashes into the asphalt, sending debris flying.

Spidey shots his web at Loki's back but Loki cuts it off with his scepter, aims his hand at Spiderman and hovers and throws him out the window where magneto catches him by his metallic web shooter.

"What do you want here, brother?" Thor grunts out and he stands up tall.

"I and Mr. Neto have come to a very profitable agreement" Loki sneers, "With the bounty he'll get from young Victoria's death he'll be able to fund his mutant army which in turn will cause more chaos" Loki smirks, "And you know I'm allfor chaos"

"Do not do this brother!" Thor pleaded, "This does not concern you! She is innocent"

"Anyone of your bratty MidGuardian friends is my concern" Loki sparks, "My concern to crush and destroy!"

"Rrrar!" Thor tosses his hammer at Loki but it hang just as it was an inch from Loki's face and flies out the hole in the window. Next thing Thor's metallic costume vibrates and he flies out the window and sticks to a pile of super hero's steadily growing outside.

Loki blasts another green energy and the remaining hero slam painfully against the wall. Susan's force field temporarily fades and my body gets exposed, while my astral self completely fades away as Iron Fist's concentration falters.

"Just give us the girl," the cold elderly voice says as Magneto floats smoothly through the air and comes to a stop directly above my body. "She can't possibly be worth all this trouble" he says calculatingly, waving a hand at all the mess.

He looks down at my body which was growing paler and paler.

He flexes his fingers at me and the metal under my bed curls out like snake fingers and clamp down on me so tightly I actually feel it.

"Don't you touch her!" Johnny yells.

"Johnny, Susan, Deadpool take Loki." Reed instructed. "Iron Fist and Halkeye, protect and lead David and Sara to safety"

"Ben, Spidey, your with me and Reed for Magneto" Cap adds. "Black Widow, contain the attacks and bystanders outside."

"Go, go go!"

Hawkeye slides down my hospital bed and comes out the other end with David and Sara in hand. He opens his pouch and tosses a rope at Iron Fist who grabs it in mid air and pulls them across the floor in lightening speed. Iron Fist takes Sara and drags her out the room but Hawkeye was having more difficulty with David.

"No, no, no! I am not missing this fight!" David fights at the door.

"Move it civilian!" Hawkeye kicks David in the butt and he tumbles out.

Reed rolls himself into a giant ball, "Ben!" he signals.

Ben needed no further instruction, he stomped over to Reed and tossed him over at Magneto's face. Due to Reed not having a stitch metal on him he collides with Magneto's face straight on and send him out flying. Ben jumps out after him.

"Spiderman, give me a lift!" Cap shouts.

"On it!" Spiderman shoots his web at the roof and the shoots the web of his other hand at Cap's back and swings out with Cap in tow. Spiderman whips out Cap in front of him and cap torpedo at the dog pile mounting on Magneto.

And with Magneto distracted the pile of superheroes in the air fell to their doom. Well, except for Iron Man who's blasted up right and watch the others fall.

I peep out the window and watch as hundreds of spectators ran and screamed for their life.

"One side people!" Black Widow ran straight towards me, not that she'd know seeing as I'm back to being invisible, and cannon ball jumps and rolls out the window.

"Iron Man!" she calls, and Tony blasts down and grabs her then safely lowers her to the ground.

I was too focused on what was going on outside that I nearly got ghost whiplash when I turn my head to look at the commotion I heard inside.

"What have you done with my brother!" Deadpool brought out his swords and jumps Loki.

Loki chuckles at Deadpool and thrust his spear forward unexpectedly and it lodges itself into Wade's midsection.

"Oh my God!" Susan cries.

"Argh!" Wade grunts in absolute pain. He holds the scepter as he hangs in midair with the tip of the spear coming out through his back, blood curled down the spear and dripped to the floor.

I gasp and look at the spot of blood pool.

This is for real...

"You monster!" Johnny had a fire ball in hand and was aiming to throw it at Loki but Loki just waves his finger at him.

"Ah-ah-aaah" he says like he's talking to a naughty child. "We wouldn't want to singe your friend here," Loki maneuvers his spear and Deadpool in between him and Johnny. "Would we?"

I would've given anything in the world to smack the smirk off Loki's face at that moment.

I subtly notice an exchange pass between Johnny and Susan, as if they were communicating with their eyes and slightly nodded at each other.

Susan slammed Loki back with a surprise force field punch, Loki crashes back through the door and releases his scepter.

"My Chitauri Scepter!" Loki cries out.

"Sorry bub" Johnny jumps forward and unleashes a torrent of flames. "You drop it you lose ownership of it"

That is not a good philosophy to live by, although....it would be a nice rule to follow if Tony ever happened to drop his wallet while I'm around.

"Susan, check if he's okay" Johnny called to his sister and walks closer to Loki, increasing the aptitude of his fire. "I've can handle Loki, I got this!"

Susan runs and kneels next to Wade. I did the same but you know how useless that is.

"D-don't worry" Wade chokes out weakly. "H-healing....factor"

The dread that had twisted itself in my belly slowly uncurled and I let out the deepest of breathes.

"Away from me!" and I see Johnny soar backwards and crash into the IV machine I was still miraculously hooked up to and shake in pain as he gets electrocuted. "Filthy mortally" Loki spit at Johnny.

The needles sticking to my skin pull out painfully and I cry in pain. No one could hear me as I grunt in pain and fall to my knees, I look over to my body and notice dollops of blood ooze out of the needle holes. The tips of the needle still hung from my skin and I finally knew what if felt like to be a kebab.

"Oh shit!" Johnny looks at my body and notices as well what I was seeing and runs over to help.

"Not so fast," Loki hisses evilly, stretching his arms out and next thing Johnny was immobile. "Let's watch her bleed"

Johnny was helpless to do anything but watch me lose more blood, blood that I already needed desperately to survive. I cough in pain and to my surprise my body did the same, my chest went up as the strangled sound came out of my over dried lips.

"Victoria!" Johnny yelled.

You could see him fight his absolute hardest as he tried to break free of Loki's spell but to no avail. Johnny's head hangs in pain as he sees my blood trail down my body and arms, curl around my fingers and pool at the tips as they drip to the floor at slow intervals.

"Let go of my brother!" Susan screamed and sucker punched Loki with another force field punch. "Just because you loath yours doesn't mean I hate mine"

Loki lets go of his hold on Johnny and he turns and gets into a forcefield/mystic battle with Susan. Green light blasted around and Susan jumps and tumbles and blocks everything Loki throws at her.

I heard Susan's voice but I was too weak to do understand what she was saying. In my ghost form I fight to move but I could barely so much as crawl. I was so weak...so tired.

No one can see me.

No one can help me.

Things start to go blurry and the edge of my vision darkens.

Oh no, no, no, no, no, no

If I black out now....I fear it would be the last time....

I would not blame any of you for throwing molten rocks at me covered in spikes dipped in poisoned acid.

It's been over a month since I last updated but you guys know what an absolute bitch school can be. Plus it was super close to my exams and believe you me I do not plan on being held back when I'm so close to finish college.

If it's any constellation I haven't updated any other book as well, so....yay?

I noticed I've picked up alotta new readers during my absence. So I bid welcome to all of you and hope you enjoy the ride that is Victoria Howards life.
