Each number has a Cêpan, who helps you train to control your powers. Your Cêpan has to be the same gender as you. Your Cêpan will try his or her best to protect you from the Mogadorians, but they do not have any powers, and they can die. Each Cêpan holds a chest, but you can't open it without them. Your Cêpan can only show you this once some of your legacies have arrived.
