*The next morning*
I've been awake all night, I went through Bucky's hair most of it because when I stopped he frowned. I took my phone and looked at the time...9am, time to get up. I softly woke up Bucky by rubbing his face softly while softly wiggling him. "Sergeant, time to wake up. We have to get ready for the funeral." I said and he slowly opened up his eyes. "Oh shit I didn't mean to fall asleep, it's just you going through my hair calmed me down so much, it just happened." He said and blushed. "It's okay, as long as you slept well." I said and laughed as he sat up. "I did, what abou- wait... you stayed up all night because I was laying on your lap?" He asked and I laughed. "No I didn't want to sleep and it just gave me more motivation to stay awake." I said as I got up and turned around to him. "Well Sergeant if you don't mind I would like to get dressed." I said and he nodded before getting up. He walked around the bed gave me a kiss on the cheek and walked out. I smiled shyly and felt my cheeks turn red. "God this man." I thought to myself as I took a shower, brushed my teeth and got dressed. I put curled my hair and decided to not wear make-up before walking downstairs.

As I walked into the kitchen Steve looked at me and smiled. "No Steve." I said and he laughed. I sat down at the table as the others walked in as well. "It may be for a funeral but you look beautiful Aurora." Wanda said and I smiled at her. "Thanks." I said as I grabbed a piece of toast and the bowl with scrambled eggs. I took 2 pieces of bacon and put it above of the toast before adding the scrambled eggs. We all ate in silence and I got up to clean the table when everybody was done. They all got ready as I cleaned up and when I finished they all came back in. "Well let's go." I said, they all just nodded and we went in multiple cars to the funeral. I sighed as we arrived. "It will all be okay, we're all here for you." Steve said and I nodded. We all got out of the cars and walked inside. "Hello, I'm so sorry for your loss." The mortician said and I weakly smiled at him. "Thank you." I said and he looked at me. "Would you like to say a final goodbye?" He asked and I nodded. "Do you need me to come with you?" Steve asked and I shook my head. "I would like to be alone with her." I said and he smiled reassuring at me as I walked into the room where Madeline was laying together with the mortician. I walked over to the coffin and looked at Madeline. "Hi Madeline, I hope you have your rest now, guess what, I remembered who I am and I found my family. I also won the competition." I said with tears in my eyes. "Oh and the serious looking muscled guy... we're getting closer to each other. I miss you so much Madeline. I will go through this life, honoring you by fighting through life, I promise. I love you." I said softly as the tears streamed down my face and I nodded to the mortician so that he can close the coffin. I went back outside and Steve walked over to me to comfort me. "Are you okay?" He asked and I nodded. "I will be eventually." I said and he kissed the top of my head. We all waited for the mortician outside and after 25 minutes he came outside too. "Okay so here are flags to place on the cars, that way other people can see you belong with us as we drive to the cemetery." He said and we took the flags. We placed them on the cars and got in as we waited for the hearse. We drove slowly after them and when we arrived at the cemetery we slowly walked after the people carrying the coffin. They placed the coffin on the mechanism above the grave and the priest said some prayers. We all placed Madeline flowers on the coffin before it got lowered into the ground. Everybody stood behind and next to me as they all hugged me. My tears started to run down my face again but I also had to smile. "Madeline has found her rest and that is all I could hope for." I said softly and everybody tightened their grip to let me know they're here for me. We stayed a bit longer before slowly walking back to the cars. "Can we please watch a movie when we get home?" I asked and Steve put his arm around me. "Of course." He said, I smiled before getting in the car and we drove back to the compound. We all changed in comfy clothes and I made popcorn. As I walked to the living room, Tony, Pepper and Morgan walked in. "Hey honey." Pepper said as Morgan ran to me and hugged me tightly. "Well hello to you too." I said to Morgan as I smiled down at her. "How are you feeling?" Tony asked and I shrugged. "Okay under circumstances I guess." I said as he walked over and hugged me. "We decided to come here for dinner today. We asked Steve to prepare 2 rooms for us that way you can go take yourself out of the situation whenever you want." He said and I smiled. "Thank you so much." I said as Morgan ran back to Pepper. "Okay Morgan come on we go play." Pepper said as she took her to their rooms. "Will you join watching the movie?" I asked Tony and he smiled as I walked over to the couches. "I'd love to." He said as we sat down and the others joined us. Bucky sat down next me and lightly touched my arm as I put on the movie, Jeff Dunham: Talking To Myself.
