*At 3 AM*
I woke up the same way again but this time on the floor. I tried to catch my breath as I sat against my bed and Bucky came running in as I felt a panic attack kicking in. "Aurora, look at me." He said but I just shook my head as I pointed to my chest and tried to get up. He helped me sit on my bed and sat down on his knees in front of me. "Tell me 5 things you can see." He said and placed his hands on mine. I looked confused at him but looked around me. "Y-y-you... c-c-chair... l-l-lamp... p-p-pictures a-a-and... c-c-curtains." I stuttered inbetween breaths. "Good now tell me 4 things you can feel." He said and I sniffled. "Y-y-your hands... f-f-fear... t-t-the sheets... a-a-and... c-c-cold air" I said as I looked at him and he smiled warmly at me. "Good good now tell me 3 things that you can hear." He said and I already felt I was calming down. "Thor's snoring... your breathing... and... the rain." I said and he nodded. "You're doing great. Now tell me 2 things you can smell." He said and I took some deep breaths. "The rain hitting the concrete... and... your shampoo." I said and chuckled a little. "Okay and lastly tell me 1 thing you can taste." He said and I looked confused. "Yes your own tongue counts." He said and I shook my head. "The last parts of my toothpaste." I said and he wiped away my tears with his iron hand and I enjoyed the brief cooling I got from it. "Thank you." I said softly and he sat down next to me, pulling me in for a one armed hug with his normal arm. "If you tell the others I have a soft side..." He said and we both laughed softly. "Don't worry it's our little secret." I said as I laid my head on his shoulder. "Can you stay here again?" I asked and he nodded. I laid on his iron arm side at first but I saw him getting uncomfortable again. "You know what I prefer sleeping on that side." I said pointing at where he is laying, he smiled relieved at me and got up. He walked around the bed as I rolled over and as soon as he laid down, I laid against him. He felt more comfortable and I smiled. "I don't mind your metal arm, it makes you special." I said softly and he froze for a second as I fell back asleep.

*The next morning*
I wake up with Bucky hugging me in his sleep with his iron arm. I smiled as I stayed as still as possible and grabbed my phone slowly before secretly taking a selfie of us. I quickly put my phone away as I felt him take his arm away and acted like I just woke up. "Good morning Sergeant." I said and he smiled as he remembered the nickname. "Good morning Princess." He said and kissed my cheek. I really tried not to blush and failed completely. "Thank you for staying with me last night." I said and he brushed some hair out of my face. "You're welcome." He said and I smiled. "What are your plans for today?" He asked and I turned on my back to stare at the ceiling. "I'm spending all day at Tony's to make up for yesterday." I said and looked back at him. He nodded but he had a bit sadness in his eyes. "Anyway if you go to the living room I'll be right there to show you the painting." I said and his face lit up again. He quickly got up and ran to his own room without saying anything. I laughed as I got up and grabbed the protection coat and a brush. I walked into my bathroom and put a layer on the painting before getting ready. I grabbed the blowdryer and dried the last pieces on the painting before framing it. "Great." I said before covering it and taking it with me to the living room. "F.R.I.D.A.Y. please call everybody for a meeting." I said as I stood in front of the couches. "Of course miss Aurora." She said and I waited for everybody to walk in. Peter almost jumped up and down in his seat out of excitement and I laughed. "Okay so the painting is ready. I will take this one to Tony and if you guys like it I'll make another one for here." I said and they all stared at the covered painting in excitement. I shook my head as I revealed the painting. They stayed quiet for a while. "AMAZING!" Peter yelled as he threw his hands in the air and everybody nodded in agreement.
The painting:

"I know Thanos takes up a lot with his hand but it was the best way to get everybody on it." I said and Steve walked over to me. "Honey it's amazing. Please make one for us as well." He said and I nodded before he hugged me. I saw Bucky looking at us with jealousy in his eyes. I fought really hard not to smile about it. "I will. Right now I got to go, I'm gonna spend the day at Tony's house. See you guys tonight." I said and covered the painting again. "I will drop you off." Bucky said and I shrugged. "Sure, thanks." I said and I saw Wanda staring at me. "Wanda come with me for a bit please." I said and we walked to my room. I closed the door and took out my phone. "Listen we have to keep this quiet but look." I said and showed her the photo before telling her what happened last night. She smiled widely at me and we quietly giggled. "He also looked at Steve and I with jealousy in his eyes." I said softly and she chuckled. "Yeah I saw that too, you two are so cute together." She said and I turned red. "Let's go back." I said as I put my phone away again. We walked back and I said goodbye to everybody before Bucky and I walked to the car. I put the painting in the trunk and got in the car. "May I ask you something, and please be honest." I said and he nodded. "Were you jealous of Steve just now?" I asked and he looked at the steering wheel as he stayed silent for a bit. "Yes but it's complicated. I just... I don't know. Do we have to talk about it?" He said as he got uncomfortable and I shook my head. "No, we don't, I was just wondering if I saw it right." I said and he started the car. As we drove to Tony's house I turned in my seat to face him. "Can we have a kind of emotional conversation?" I asked and he nodded without looking at me. "Why do you hide your arm around us? I know it sounds weird but we're your family and we don't look weird at you for it. In fact I think the iron arm is part of you and you shouldn't see it differently. I know in Wakanda they switched your arm and I must say this one looks amazing and I feel like is more you. I also know you associate it with what you've done in the past but this is a whole new start, I hope you allow us to help you to make that new start." I said and he looked at me. "I feel like a freak." He said softly and I leaned forward to him. "Have you seen the team? We're all freaks. Not to mention." I said and leaned even closer. "I love freaks." I whispered in his ear before giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Freaks are normal people in my eyes." I said as I leaned back and I saw his cheeks have turned slightly red. "And you... are my favorite freak." I said as I looked out the window. "I really missed you." He said softly and softly placed his hand on my leg. I smiled and looked at him. "I missed you too." I said as we drove onto Tony's driveway. "Thank you for dropping me off." I said as I took of the seatbelt. "Want me to pick you up tonight?" He asked and I smiled at him. "Yes please." I said and he smiled back at me. "Okay I'll be here at 8:30pm." He said and I nodded as I got out of the car. I opened the trunk and took out the painting. "Thanks again Sergeant." I said as Morgan ran towards me. "AURORAAAA!" She yelled and ran against me. "Oof, well hello to you too. You say hi to Bucky?" I asked and she looked at Bucky. "Hi mister robotarm." She said before running back inside and Bucky and I laughed. "Anyway I'll be going inside now, I'll see you tonight." I said and we smiled at each other before I walked inside and he drove away.
